A drama with good potential
The drama started on a good note, the premise was exciting and the chemistry between the characters was undeniable. All the actors do a phenomenal job in pulling us in. The dynamics of not only the lead couple but the second leads and the family made the drama all the more endearing. More than the typical rom com , it leans more towards slice of life. It delves into the lives of the leads , what they went through , their relationship with friends and family. It was good to see other side characters' lives as well . The childhood best friend to lovers trope was done well but I needed more tension and angst. The second couple was my favourite. They were the reason I continued with the series. In the end it became a little bland. Nonetheless, it is one of the good dramas of this year. Was this review helpful to you?

An enjoyable experience
I was very excited for the series. The first season did such an amazing job in setting the historical background and incorporated the story in it. This season takes place in modern times , a little unexpected honestly . I personally would have preferred if they continued the events in the past. But they managed to tie the story to the present very well. The chemistry didn't disappoint and I enjoyed the thrill and fights though the dialogues seemed a bit draggy. It was going well until the last episode. The last episode felt rushed and their victory didn't feel like one cuz it happened so fast . I get what they were trying to go for but it was a little disappointing. The open ending didn't do it for me. After all her efforts and struggle, chae-ok deserved better. I would have loved to know how they lived when it was all over. Overall , I liked it and it was good as a one time watch. The acting is top-notch (well its Park Seo Joon)and the action lovers will certainly enjoy it.
