Another must watch!
I’m going to be completely honest and say that i binged all 20 episodes in a span of 3 days. Which is insane. I’ve never binged a 20 episode kdrama so fast before, it just shows how good it is!Every episode fills you with anticipation for the next episode. Character building and plot pace both so well done, I literally have no complaints!
All of the actors did so well too, I like every ship and dynamic they added in the show.
I really hope there’s going to be a season 2, I know the actors would do a good job again!
Really good show! You won’t be disappointed watching it!!!

‘chase your dreams’ ahh k-drama
I don’t know what I was expecting from this show but half of the things that happened seemed so out of place…?I think love next door and no gain no love started streaming around the same time, and somehow the first few episodes of love next door were so positively received and talked about that I HAD to check it out.
And it was hyped up for a reason. The first few episodes were SO good, dragged me in like a mouse chasing a cheese in the trap. The actors were amazing and showcased their chemistry with each other from the get go. Not only were they likable but so were the side characters.
I enjoyed it a lot and was excited to see the ‘best friends to lovers’ trope bloom throughout the episodes.
But then…the cancer stomach thing happened. Listen I know K-Dramas love to add the most insane plotwists to their shows to catch you offguard but…I don’t know, it seemed to be so…out of place? I don’t know how to describe it. How the hell does someone even hide that big of an illness from everyone? And why even do that? It just honestly made me frustrated more than anything.
Besides that, I also think they could’ve made their reactions a little less dramatic. I would understand being upset but they went out of their ways to make her feel guilty for having it and blaming everything on her.
I don’t know, I just didn’t like that part in the K-Drama and after it, it just sorta started going downhill from there. It was going so well but then drama after drama after miscommunication after miscommunication kept happening. Like even the parents?! Nobody there was having a good time anymore.😭
It just became so burdensome and tiring to watch. Plots after that became boring- I mean imagine going from being exposed about hiding a big illness like cancer to trivial stuff like ‘omg my wife received flowers from her coworker she must be cheating on me!!!’ and making that a plot for almost 3 episodes.
It became boring, long story short.
It was really difficult for me to finish it and I was even dreading the last episode because people have been saying the ending didn’t even seem like an ending and then I watched it and they were right CUS WHAT KINDA ENDING WAS THAT?
It just felt like they ended it mid episode. I don’t know, I wasn’t satisfied to say the least. I expected so much more from this K-Drama, especially since Haein is one of my favourite actors. But this could’ve been a lot better imo.
It’s not bad and it’s a cute show sometimes when couples have scenes but other than that, other scenes were so empty and boring. If you like these actors though, it’s worth watching for them. I can’t lie that they really did well. Their chemistry was outstanding and it’s what made me continue the show, same with the second lead couple!! (Although at some point I started preferring the second lead couple more than the main lead couple.)
Pretty good but gets boring really fast, watch at your own risk!

EASY 10!
Jason Kim, you have done it again.I knew from the moment this movie’s description said “Jason Kim director of Bloodhounds” that this must be just as good. AND DAMN I WAS RIGHT!!!
Kim Woobin fits these type of roles so well, from Black Knight to Officer Black Belt, truly an amazing performance.
Now the thing that roped me in was the plot, and I genuinely have no complaints against this movie. It was entertaining, it was emotional, it had likeable characters (the good ones ofc lol), and above all, the friendships that bloomed and the character development was beautiful. Kim Woobin’s character went from being a little immature and seeking fun in everything and never being serious, to opening a whole new dark world and inevitably getting sucked into it. Its easy to immediately seek out justice once you see what horrible stuff goes on behind closed doors.
Now that everything is coming out in Korea about CP distribution, SA’s and offenders not being properly prosecuted, I feel like this was a perfect movie to come out right now. Maybe it’ll make people of Korea watch this and realise how disgusting and very real these situations are.
Certain scenes were hard to watch since they didn’t censor how disgusting these cases can get, but thankfully it was never cruelly or gruesomely depicted as for example ‘Silenced’ movie did.
So, it’s own level of graphic will make you cry or atleast make you sick to your stomach.
I haven’t watched a movie in one sitting in a while, this was an amazing watch. I truly recommend it! But as always with these type of movies, be careful watching it and make sure you’re in the right headspace to do so.
Amazing movie!

Imagine you turn into an old version of yourself during the day
Honestly this reminded me so much of Howl’s moving castle. Though the premise isn’t the same (where the character in the anime was old constantly and only young again when she accepts herself for herself), the concept of the FL turning into an older version of herself still held the similarity together. This was such a weird concept for a K-Drama especially since the FL was going to work for the ML whilst simultaneously liking him- which means the older version of herself crushed on the normal young ML, plus the second lead also crushed on her and even showed fondness of her when she was an old lady? It’s so silly and although describing it like that sounds crazy, I guess watching it made it look a little less creepy lol..
So the FL turned into an old lady during the day and back to herself during the night. I always wondered how the ML and the parents never questioned once why they couldn’t see her during the day. I get being busy because of work (since that was her only excuse), but still…this lasted for so long and nobody questioned it?! Especially the ML…considering the fact that he’s a prosecutor who also investigates a little on the side, how was he not questioning this sooner? But I digress.
Overall I really enjoyed the show, it was hilarious!!! I recognised the ML actor immediately because of Mr.Queen K-drama. He’s such a good actor for comedies, I wish he gets casted in more future shows- and please…give him roles similar to Mr.Queen…the bland/cold ML personality types don’t suit him imo. The only time he looked good in the show was when he blushed and giggled over the FL hehe
On another note, I loved the main couple so much that the second lead didn’t tug on my heartstrings at all. Maybe a little bit but the show made it clear that the FL never had feelings for the second lead so it was easy to ship her with the ML.
And also, man…I don’t know how to feel about the best friend with the older guy who’s best friends with the ML…they just…do not fit AT ALL.
He looks like he could be her dad…genuinely the last thing I thought would happen. Did the writers write that in last minute? There was no spark between them the first time they met and then the second time suddenly something happened? Lol…I don’t know, it just felt so random and maybe it was added for comedy purposes but the fact that they’re serious about it made it a little uhhh…I don’t know, uncomfortable I guess.
She looks in her mid 20s and he looks in his early 50s…she’s a naive youtuber and he’s an old dude who was already divorced once. Don’t really get the appeal of them getting together.
Anyway, I’m rating this high because this is the K-Drama that got me out of my K-Drama block. I was struggling to finish everything I started but this one caught me good. I loved it! Comedy in here was top tier, I laughed a lot, especially in the last episode where ML placed his hand on the cactus while trying to flirt with the FL LMAOOO
Overall pretty good!!! I recommend it!

The most frustrating shit you will ever watch
Honestly I don’t even wanna review this. This was beyond frustrating, not even a moment of satisfaction in here. Granted I liked the first few episodes, even when things got ugly. But the amount of times things happened where I just wanted to scream…Not one likable character in there.Reminded me of squid game but a clear replica of it. It isn’t bad but it pissed me off more than anything, and I hate Ryu Cheol so he was an eye sore throughout the show. Continued just out of curiosity and Chun Woohee my babygirl.
Everything else? Yeah. Nah. This was just pure rage show. Pissed me off so much that I disliked it. I didn’t even know it was possible to piss me off this much. Smh.

THIS WILL SNATCH YOUR WIG
Just finished the last few episodes and I NEED MORE!!!!I need a season 2. Nam Joohyuks comeback from the military is ICONIC. One of his best roles, and best K-Dramas I watched this year. Truly no K-Drama had me quite in this type of grip.
There is only one negative thing i’ve got to say about it, and its that I can’t find the OST or Soundtrack of this show!! The outro they used in ep2 is AMAZING. I NEED THE SONG!!! I tried to shazam it and searched for it but nowhere to be found. So if anyone knows…let me know.
But once again, this was such a good 8 episode drama. Usually the best K-Dramas tend to be 8 episodes, which is so frustrating! I don’t think anything has been confirmed for another season but I truly hope they don’t let this show die.
Gripping storyline, acting and characters. Nam Joohyuk has always been one of my favourite actors so seeing him in this type of role was exhilarating.
Lots of great actors in general. I’m in love!
Please watch it!! You won’t regret!!!

One of the best kdramas of 2023
I am honestly left empty after finishing this series, especially after following it since it started airing.I’ve become a hyunwook fan since weak hero class and started following his work ever since and was so excited when i saw this promoted.
Especially since i saw that this show would be time travel!!! I LOVED IT!!!
The way the plot moved and how well everything was flowing, the friendships the tropes literally everything!!
I cried so much at how well the actors conveyed their emotions and also, i am just so happy to see deaf people and sign language representation. The fact that the actors learned it is so special, it made me want to learn it myself.
Such a beautiful show, it’s a show you just have to watch really…

Beautiful movie
I started this movie because of the edits I saw on tiktok and it’s safe to say I wasn’t disappointed at all!The love story build up between the main characters is beautiful and heart wrenching at the same time. From their first kiss to their love confession, everything was just so beautiful.
I loved how angsty their love story is the most, there was so much unsurety between them but both of them knew that they liked each other, even that boss in the end could tell they loved each other so much…
I was going to be very mad if they didn’t end up together but thankfully their love won!!!
Beautiful story!!

Funny in its own way
I started this because of some clips that went viral on TikTok. Tendo was so cute and funny that i just NEEDED to watch this.It had good humor and good action scenes, the scene with a zombie shark surprised me but it was such a good fighting scene. I’m really happy they didn’t unnecessarily kill important characters like Kencho for example.
Throughout the movie I thought they would sacrifice him for shock value like they usually do in zombie movies but i’m really happy none of that happened.
I’m also really happy that they remained as a trio together. Such a cute friendship between each of them!!! And i’m glad Tendo got to have his dream job in the end hehe

It’s an okay movie
I don’t often watch movies or shows that aren’t korean but i decided to switch it up today since it kept getting promoted on netflix. The movie wasn’t BAD per say but it wasn’t that good either (in my opinion).
I feel like this movie was so exaggerated and so many things kept happening at once that I think at some point during the movie I just completely forgot what the main plot was or what the hell was happening at all😭.
Though i can’t lie it was extremely funny at times, some scenes had me giggling so it made it watchable.
The acting isn’t that bad either so that made it a bit more bearable as well.
Overall it isn’t something I would watch again but if you’re a fan of these type of movies or these actors then you might like it a lot.
On another note i’m glad I tried watching something else for once. Might’ve not been my cup of tea but I finished it so that counts for something!

captivating
i wasn’t expecting much of an military based kdrama but holy shit this one catches your attention.the only complaint i have is that its too fuckin short. whose idea was it just to give 6 episodes?? I mean i’ve watched a lot of short kdramas before, like weak hero class. And isn’t it usually the standard to make short shows atleast 8 episodes but when i saw it end so suddenly…i’m mad. but atleast there’s going to be a s2!
i can’t give the show much criticism because like i said it doesn’t even feel like i watched the show properly and just gave up mid show. but its good, i promise it’s a good kdrama.

SO GOOD
Man I didn’t know what to expect watching this show but one thing for sure is that it frustrates you…A LOT!So many things happen at once that at some points I needed to pause the show and take a breather. Definitely another exhausting watch but in a good way! It tires you out along with the characters, you’re not the only one fed up with everything, so are the characters and that’s what makes you connect with the characters.
I was hoping for a cliffhanger so it could hint at another season because seriously the main characters’ chemistry is no joke. Both of them worked so well together and I wish they would play more roles together!
On another note, the ending was extremely satisfying. Even though it was frustrating, everything paid off in the end. Seriously great kdrama!

You will cry
I don’t know if I was too emotional watching this today but honestly I cried for almost every scene with Mija and Okja…Part of me felt connected because me and Mija’s names are similar, and also since i’m a huge animal lover. I don’t know, it struck my heart.
I can’t help but feel unsatisfied with the ending albeit it being realistic to some extent. I watched this movie for the first time when it came out but I didn’t remember much from it except for the factory part. I decided to rewatch it today solely to remind myself of how it is.
I know them saving the whole super pigs isn’t realistic or palpable especially in the short amount of time, hell they would probably need a whole new movie for that, and even then the new movie would probably need a new movie to get some damage on the company.
I’m happy Okja and Mija got their happy endings with each other, but still my heart aches everytime I remember that there’s still those super pigs suffering and dying for those horrible peoples profit.
I don’t know, maybe I did get a bit too emotional. But I can still feel my heart ache a lot.
It’s also 3am…lol

Time Travel realness
This is actually a drama I just recently finished and wow.I really wasn't expecting to like it this much, but it really didn't disappoint!
Im usually a sucker for time travel kdramas and this one..wow this delivered everything and more that i needed.
The regret of changing the past, how the smallest things can change the biggest outcomes in your life, and what i rellay found unique is how they didn't go back to their old life yet they actually used this time travel to their own benefit and found a way to be happier than when they were before the travel.
It teaches you a lesson that your fate is written with a certain person, and they are simply your soulmate and you can't do anything to change that fact!
Really recommend this! It will not leave you bored!!
