I must say this lakorn surprised me! I'm a fan of Nadech-Yaya love team as well as Mark-Kimberly and I thought I'll just give the Nadech-Kimberly a try. And I was really glad I did cause this lakorn became also one of my favorite Thai dramas.

I would not tell you more about the plot since there is already a summary but what would I tell you is why I love this lakorn. :)

Even though it was their first time acting together as a love team, Kim & Nadech portrayed their roles well. There was no awkwardness and they really complement each other. I've seen Kim on her other lakorns but I think her role in here suits her, seen as a spoiled brat but deep down inside she's very vulnerable. As for Nadech, he impressed me with his acting in Duang Jai Akkanee and he still did in this lakorn. What I was not expecting also was their great chemistry! They're so cute together and just made me smile everytime.

As for the supporting casts, I could not asked for anything better. I love the bonding between Kim and her family. For the antagonists, acting was good that it will make you hate them also.

For the music, I like it so much that I've kept on listening to them until I've memorized most of the lines.

A must see drama! If you're still hesitating to watch this, just stop and watch this NOW! :D :D

Finally! A Filipino Series I Can Recommend

I was never really interested in wattpad adaptations cause most of them have similar stories and very cliche. But when I saw the trailer of this series, honestly I got interested especially when I saw the acting of Heaven. She was crying at that scene and accusing Kalix of cheating. Never a fan of her and never saw any work of her but I was impressed with her on that scene that made me decide to give this series a try.

The story is not really an original one. The main girl character Luna has a huge crush on Kalix and so she decided to pursue him. She will do things like add him on socials, chat him or go to places where he's also there. It was enjoyable watching her especially whenever her crush is around. I felt that I could relate to her feelings, giddy and excited just to be near to my crush.
However there were some loop holes in the story that I couldn't understand. First was Kalix was still studying Legal Management when he got together with Luna and will still proceed to Law School to become a lawyer. At that time, Luna's cousin got abused by his boyfriend and her family sued him. Luna and Kalix broke up also at that time and Kalix failed that semester so it is expected that he will be delayed. Years later, when they saw each other again, Luna have known that Kalix didn't present Miguel(her cousins ex-bf) on court but instead Kalix asked another friend to do cause he doesn't want Luna to get upset with him. This is where the part I got confused. I know for sure that Law School will take time, maybe 5 years plus the board exam so how come he was already a lawyer that could present Miguel? I don't think his case would went on for 5 years and there are a lot of lawyers if you think about it. Second, the treatment of Kalix's mother on Luna just got a 360 degrees turn on the last part without any explanation at all. Like how come she was bitchy on Luna when she met her a few years ago and when she met her again when she was Kalix's architect. But on the last part, she was already welcoming at friendly like none of those bitchy things happened. She didn't even say sorry. I think that's why those two weren't explained properly was because of maybe the number of episodes. They were trying to squeeze so many happenings on the book into a 10 episode series.

For the characters, I haven't read the book yet but I couldn't think of another actors that could portray Luna and Kalix so well like Heaven and Marco did. Even though there were some scenes where Marco's acting was stiff and lacking in emotion, I just think that its part of the personality of the character. Cold and seemingly detached. Heaven however got the assignment right. She's funny and beautiful. When she cries, its really all out, no reservations. And the chemistry! Ughhh! Their stares alone with each other was enough to make you giddy while watching.
I love the other actors too especially Luna's friends. They were very supportive and ready to be her wingmen anytime. Watching them made me nostalgic and made me think how it was with my friends during college.

The soundtrack, I am in love! Kean Cipriano did a good job. I felt like I was watching a Kdrama, the songs were perfect and were played at the right scenes.

Overall, I really really liked this series. I love how its not like your typical Filipino drama that's super long since it has 10 episodes only. I love Heaven and Marco's chemistry(I'm a fan of them already because of this). The actors were perfect for their roles. The drama was funny and enjoyable but could also make you cry.
Finally, a Filipino drama I could recommend. 😊

The first lakorn of Nadech and Yaya together and the lakorn that made me loved these two. The story was like Romeo and Juliet, both families were enemies. Their love story was a typical hate turn into love kind but what made me watched this was because of the chemistry between Nadech and Yaya. Both were still newbies at that time but their acting were good, I was really impressed especially with Yaya.
That's why it became one of my favorite Thai dramas.

If your still new or just started watching Thai drama then you should definitely watch this. :)

As usual, Yaya & Mark did a great job! Been a fan with these two together with their other love teams but never have I thought that they will also have a great chemistry!! Watching their scenes together made me smile and say "The one you hate is the one you really love." :) Hope they will have another lakorn together in the future.

The story for me was kinda new, with twists that leaves you surprised and excited for the next scenes to follow. It's not the usual Thai drama story and I really like it.
Yaya's acting was superb! Even when she was still starting out, she could already act but in here her acting skills not only improved as well as the way she handled herself that made her stand out in this lakorn. Yayas' acting during emotional scenes was very natural. Crying for her in front of a camera feels like so easy.
For Mark, I was quite impressed. His acting has also improved. Back then, he had a hard time crying in emotional scenes but here he did it so well and to think he had to do it for lots of times in this lakorn.
For the supporting casts, I couldn't asked for someone better to portray their roles especially Joonkiat Jarinporn as Piak! She's so good in her role that you will surely hate her!!! I think Chaiyan's too good for her!

This is a must watch Thai drama! You should really watch this now :)

P.S. Who else skips Piak's tantrum scenes?? :D

I forgot where I've first knew about this but this was the first lakorn I've watched. Because of this, it opened my eyes to Thai drama land. Since it was my first lakorn, I found this really interesting, the way the drama flows & the acting were different compared to Korean, Japanese & Taiwanese. Because of the differences, somehow its not predictable & had a few surprises along the way thus I found it enjoyable.

Now for the plot, sometimes I get lost with the twists in the story. Some scenes I was like "What?? How could it happened??" and then later on, "Okaaayyy, that's why. Now I get it." Even though the story was not that well written and kinda confusing sometimes, its still a nice story though.

For the casts, I just love Boy & Margie together! They're so cute especially when they teased each other. No awkwardness at all & they know how to portray well the emotion needed for each scene. I find their love team refreshing & very funny! I just can't stop laughing to some of their scenes. As for the supporting casts, all were good and convincing for me. Bella was a good antagonist in here, you will hate her also.

As for the music, I like it even though I don't understand any word of it. There's just this one thing that I don't like and only exists in Thai dramas was that they like to play a background music with the singers voice ONLY. I know they meant it to be romantic maybe but somehow it just doesn't fit the scene at all.

So all in all, I still love this drama & became one of my favorite lakorns. You just gotta watch this! :)

Honestly, the main reason I’ve watched this drama was because of Kentaro Sakaguchi. I’ve been his fan ever since I saw him on Heroine Disqualified and Ore Monogatari. Not only he is pleasing to the eyes but he could really act. And also, I love the way he stares! :) The second reason was I’m already familiar with the two main actresses and their acting so I’ve decided to give it a try.

The story was not really new but you will not get bored with it because it’s not dragging. Every episode has surprises along the way and somehow it was not that predictable. The actors & actresses played the characters well, all of them have chemistry. The stares, the dialogues and the actions all add up to the building chemistry between them that at the end, it leaves you wanting more. Especially Yuriko & Kentaro’s scenes! ^_-

For the music, it was okay and well matched for every scene. For the ending song, I like the first part where it’s the instrumental that was only playing. It was well matched for scenes at the end part of every episode.

Overall, it was a nice and cute drama. Definitely gonna watch this again (because of the great chemistry between Yuriko & Kentaro)! A drama worth watching! :)

KASHIWABARA TAKASHI WAS SO HANDSOME!!! ???

I'm so glad I watched a fanvideo on tiktok of Naoki and Kotoko! At first I was hesitating to watch this version cause of the Taiwanese version which is one of my all time fave drama. But because of Takashi, I gave it a try since he was so cute in this drama 😁
The plot was the same but I was glad that there were some small changes on the storyline, because of these the next scene was not predictable. I love how I'm gonna get surprised especially to the reactions of Naoki toward Kotoko. This drama has a slight difference to the Taiwanese version but I wouldn't say that it was bad. It has its charm as well as funny and cute moments of Naoki and Kotoko. 😊
I just wished that it should have got more episodes, 9 was not enough! I would want to see more sweet moments of them!
Overall, this drama is worth seeing. Takashi is such a perfect Naoki for the Japanese version. Although its short, you will really enjoy watching this. 😊

I did not expect that from a Filipino movie. I'm a Filipino but I'm sorry to say that when it comes to thriller and suspense movies, usually the stories are kinda predictable. But this one was different, the suspense was really building and have few twists that will make you a bit confused on who is really the killer. Impressed with that casts, even though a lot of them are still new to the industry they have acted really well. Surprising & a bit refreshing Filipino movie. Hope they will make more movies like this.
If you're a fan of suspense & thriller genres then you should definitely watch this. :)

Yaya & Mario, finally!!! ?

I'm a fan of lakorns and I've seen a lot of them especially lakorns which Yaya was the lead. I must say, this lakorn is very different from her other lakorns. The acting of Mario and Yaya were very natural especially the romantic scenes. It was not forced nor awkward like I've seen on some couples from other lakorns. They are a married couple here and they really have acted and convinced (that I almost forgot that both of them have their own respected partners in real life) the viewers.

For the story, it was a little bit dragging. I mean, if they were just honest or have talked about what really happened 7 years ago, then no revenge was gonna happened and both of them could have been saved from more heartaches.

I love the soudtrack from this lakorn, I've downloaded all of them already. 😁 I just wish the editors would stop playing weird instrumental music/sound effects or only the vocals during a romantic scene. For example, the scene where Yaya got drunk and Mario kissed her. A sound effect was played during the kiss and unfortunately, it just ruined the scene and the mood of the viewer.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this to my friends to watch👍👍 A nice drama with great acting and casts. 😊
