a masterpiece. some may say that it is boring from the first episode, however it is the bond and connections between the characters that make you stay. reply 1988 depicts the raw emotions and the essence of nostalgia that is embedded within familial and platonic relationships. the characters are extremely authentic in the way the actors play them, the cast has done an extraordinary job at delivering their roles with remarkable depth. each episode is emotionally charged, every moment is amplified to resonate with the viewer. i can guarantee you i have cried at least once every episode, it resonates with audiences on a profiund level that has without a doubt left a huge mark on me.Was this review helpful to you?
don’t waste ur time on this babes ..
from the sypnosis i lowkey thought the storyline would have a main focus on the 3 girls, however i was disappointed that the story kept jumping between things, making it extremely confusing. i was hooked from ep 1-2, however everything just went down from there .. male lead felt really shallow to me, he just seemed like he was there standing behind the cast with that singular :| face. the ‘crime murder plot’ was also a huge mess, just seemed like poor writing to me atp as there was alot of potential (crying emoji). i will have to say that alot of scenes took longer than it had to, sometimes there would be 20 seconds if silence and slow panning which to me felt rlly irrelevant.Was this review helpful to you?
