╔══ ❀•°❀°•❀ ══╗ I began watching Korean dramas in 2016 because they were popular in my country, the Philippines, and were frequently televised and dubbed in Tagalog. "Descendants of the Sun" was the series that initiated my interest, and although I wasn't able to finish it at that time, it influenced me to explore other dramas. Then, the pandemic hit, forcing me to stay home and do nothing but immerse myself in watching K-dramas. However, I reached a point where I couldn't find any good ones anymore, either because I couldn't find anything that piqued my interest or because I wasn't as dedicated to them anymore. That's when I stumbled upon Chinese dramas, randomly recommended on YouTube; if I recall correctly, the first one I watched was "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." Although the very first Chinese drama I watched was "A Love So Beautiful" because it was televised in the Philippines, PYHOMS was the one that truly opened up the path for me to explore other cdramas. I still watch kdramas from time to time, but I am more into cdramas now because I enjoy watching them more.
I'm a mood watcher; regardless of how well-received a drama might be, if I sense even a slight inclination to drop it, I won't hesitate to do so. However, I'm also the type of watcher who believes in second chances. There have been instances where upon initially watching a drama, I didn't find it appealing, but upon rewatching it later, I discovered a newfound enjoyment. It's fascinating how circumstances can influence our perception of a show, and I'm always open to reevaluating my initial impressions.
Additionally, while I'm not very picky when it comes to genre and watch anything, my specific favorites are romance, historical, wuxia, xianxia, and xuanhuan. ╚══ ❀•°❀°•❀ ══╝ ╰┈➤ ❝ KOREAN DRAMA ❞
