This was sooooooo good! I hope they make a second season but I don't think it's 1000% necessary because it was wrapped pretty nicely.
The chemistry between the actors was the best part of the show. The actors who played Apo (New) and Waii (Earth) were obviously close friends. There were some scenes in which I could not hep but wonder if they felt awkward (maybe because they look very straight to me haha) but they did not look awkward at all. Everyone was professional and the characters were believable. I wish we got to see more of Achi and Kluai too but that's okay.
The soundtrack was stunning and appropriate. I couldn't help but (try to) sing along.
Waii grew up so much during the show (as well as other characters, of course) and it made my heart soft.
I'm glad I decided to watch it. But if you're looking for a super complicated plot this is not the series for you. It's more about the characters. That's why I wish there was a second season. They could come up with a really cool plot now that the characters are settled.
And am I the only one who thought about the anime Free! ? I couldn't help myself haha
Here I go follow the actors on Instagram ;)

( HEART )
^this means it's one of my absolute favorites

A little bit of background: I have to admit I started watching this because I saw a video on youtube about the best bl dramas and it mentioned two of the characters and I thought they were cute so I started watching it. I went into this drama knowing very little about the plot and also the culture, because this was the first Thai show I've ever watched. I ended up falling in love with every single character (uh... except maybe Melon) and I truly felt their struggles as if I was in their shoes. Thai language and culture is so beautiful; I can't wait to learn more about it (I'm literally going to buy a book about it- that's how much I loved it). This drama made me want to watch more Thai dramas so I'll start a new one today even though I've just finished this one.

The characters: As I've already said, I fell in love with the characters and the relationships between them. Specially the five main boys. Their friendship made me soft. I also loved the fact that the characters grew a lot throughout the episodes- they weren't perfect to begin with but they developed and matured, specially Jod, whose personality I wouldn't be able to handle in real life but who matured soooo much and made me proud. When *something* happened to *someone* (I DONT WANT TO SPOIL) you could clearly tell how close they had become. I just really love their friendship.
Ti and Hall did not disappoint me at all. Their friendship was a heathy one, because they helped each other out- Hall learned a lot from Ti (he became such an amazing friend, son and person in general) and Ti also learned to open up more thanks to Hall. I was disappointed at the end because their situation isn't clear but I'll talk more about that later.
Each character has their own opinions, personality, dreams and expectations. So even though there were quite a lot of things going on it wasn't that hard to follow the plot because it was all very different (I mean, the situations the characters were living).

The plot: I loved the whole idea of the drama: teenagers/new adults struggling to keep up with school and their part time jobs while bonding with others and growing up. I do think there were less necessary things in the plot that took too much screen time that could have been spent differently (I liked the scene where Jod's foster family visits him but two whole minutes of his foster mother singing him to sleep while the others watch is a /little/ too much. Some scenes just took too long. That "wasted time" could have been used to explore the characters even more because, since there were like 30 characters on the show, some things were rushed. I was surprised with how fast Melon got over what happened to her in one of the first 10 episodes (I dont want to include spoilers in this review but if you've watched it then you KNOW what I mean). And I know I'm being biased but more Ti & Hall moments wouldn't hurt a soul.
There are lots of characters so lots of things are going on at the same time but dont worry too much about it: as I've said, each one is dealing with their own problem and also each episode seems to focus more on one or two particular characters so it's not as overwhelming as it might seem.
One of my favorite episodes was the sea trip one. It warmed my heart (well... at least at first haha ^^'). It was just cute and fun and hfbdshrjfk. I really liked it.

Ending: I WILL BE TALKING A LITTLE ABOUT THE ENDING. I'LL TRY NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS BUT IF YOU HATE BEING 1% SPOILED THEN DON'T READ THIS PART ^^

Okay so: WHAT WAS THAT ENDING??? I liked Hall's friend too but I'd rather see him with Ti because long term friendships should stay as friendships 99% of the time, in my opinion. Some other storylines didn't have a clear ending either, for example, Jin, Tong and Nich's and also the three girls'. These are just the obvious examples- there are several other loose ends. This makes me hope for a second season hahaha. It isn't impossible, right? ... right? ): I dont think the drama was that popular so I doubt there will ever be a continuation. But oh well, the ending could be worse!

Conclusion: I loved it. I loved it so much. It made me discover a whole new world (A DAZZLING PLACE I NEVER KNEW- okay, it's time to stop) and it definitely taught me some important things. It contributed to my personal growth and isn't that enough to place it high on my favorites list?
ALSO I followed some of the actors on Instagram and stuff and I found out Hall/Kimmon and Tee are in a group??? Watch me stan.
Does anyone know if the actors were friends before the show? This is my first time watching a Thai drama so I have no idea of how it works. Did they promote it together? Are they good friends still? Has there ever been a reunion? Okay, I'm sorry, I'm a sensitive person. I like the friendships haha

Sorry about this review. I'm too overwhelmed to express myself cohesively. If you're considering watching it then do it! You won't regret it^^

I have to admit I was really excited to watch this drama because everyone mentions it as one of the best BL’s out there. I can’t believe it took me so long to watch it.
I’m so glad I did because it was great. The story was simple but I liked the way we got to know the characters in so little time (it’s only 4 episodes, after all). At first it looked like it was going way too fast, something I don’t particularly like, but then it slowed down and I started liking it more. Episodes 3 and 4 were amazing, I was really into the two couples!
I don’t want to spoil anyone but I have to mention the amazing last scene!! Simple but sooooo well acted (you know what I mean if you’ve watched it ;)). No awkwardness between the actors, we truly felt how much the characters had grown, simply beautiful.
The second couple’s ending scenes (the last two scenes in which they appear) MADE ME SCREAM SO HARD ONGOMGOMGONG I LOVE THEM!!!!!?????!??? Yep, that’s the type of feeling. A second season is seriously mandatory.
I didn’t pay attention to the music that much but I liked how it fit some moments of the drama perfectly, like it even matched the character’s movements. It made the scenes more emotional. The last song that played is really pretty as well.
I’ll certainly rewatch this. I can’t not to! This is in the top 3 best History series for me. History 2 was like a miracle after History 1. I never thought the quality of the series would increase this much from one season to another!

These days I’m starting to rate BL’s as “normal” dramas, because the quality in acting and script is increasing, so it doesn’t feel like just a badly written story about two gay characters but a story in which the characters happen to like the same gender. Which I really appreciate. I’m not sure if I expressed this correctly, it was not my intention to offend anyone! Anyways, I really like this drama and I rated it as I would rate a non-BL drama. For a show released before 2019, when Bl’s quality started increasing significantly imo, it’s an amazing rating.
I really hope we get a second season because we need more scenes with both in a relationship!!! Please!!! It’s a need!!! Survival is in risk!!! I hope they do it like they promised even if it seems as though there are some problems occurring. Anyways, if anyone knows if there’s a novel out there, please let me know! And to those of you who haven’t watched this: please do! You will not lose your time.

Finally an enjoyable story with a plot that actually makes sense. HIStory 1 was a disappointment (compared to Trapped and MODC) but Right or Wrong was the start of the quality series we know today. (not a lot of spoilers, by the way)

The relationship is very healthy. I personally don't have any prejudice regarding (legal) age gap relationships and it's obvious that none of the ML's were taking advantage of the other. Yo Yo just added even more cuteness to their story; I think the little actress did a great job, her role was heart-warming.
I have to say that some of the acting from the ML's didn't convince me and their kissing scenes were a bit awkward (the last few). You could tell that their lips were just touching, no tongue was involved but they made it look so intense with their mouvements that it simply didn't work.
I really liked the way they helped each other and grew together. In the other HIStory seasons (HIStory 1) the storyline was way too out there and the characters were bad clichés for the most part. In this one, however, I saw a true effort from the writer, the director and the actors to make it look realistic and something other people can learn from.

Overall, I enjoyed this mini-show a lot!

So.. 2Moons 2 was the first drama I started AND finished watching while it was airing and there were some episodes where I was DYING for more.

I'm not really going to talk too much about the plot, except for the fact that it was a thousand times more interesting than the first season. The dialogues were better and I could actually see those events happening in real life.
I think the actors couldn't have fit their role better. I liked Pha before but Ben just...... he has so much charm i....wow I was amazed hahahaha he truly fit the role so well, I couldn't be happier. And he's an amazing actor too. The way he looked at wayo.. chills! I also loved this season's wayo, which was the biggest problem for me in the previous season. Earth is so cute and cuddly and his jealous scenes were so well portrayed. What can I say about MingKit/J9.................. I WAS SO SOFT WHILE WATCHING THEIR SCENES LIKE IS THERE ANYTHING MORE GOALS THAN THAT? ok, breathe. OKAY WHAT ABOUT FORTHBEAM HAHAHAHAHAHHA I WANNA DIE. I can't deal with these couples, I swear. I loved every couple equally and I was never bored or sad that the focus on the couple changed? Like, when they showed several couples in one episode. I was always happy and excited hahahaha.
They all worked really hard and even though this is their first work as actors, they did soooo well.
They are all amazing people too so I love watching their interviews and Pavel's channel. They are great together and I'm so glad they always try to communicate with the international fans :').

The opening song is great and I'm glad they added subtitles. The piano scene.. my heart can't take this )));;;.

I didn't aim at comparison but it's inevitable in some cases. I did like this season way more than the first one and I'm soooo excited for the third season that apparently has been announced. Lovely show.

This could have been the best drama of 2019. The first episodes were mind blowing: great acting, lovable characters (even Yeonseo) who had an interesting background, exciting plot (especially since angels are my favorite supernatural creature) and an amazing soundtrack. Unfortunately, the only thing that held up until the end of the drama was the amazing soundtrack. I liked every single one of the songs that played throughout the show. The rest of the elements simply didn't correspond to the expectations I had created during the first few episodes.
However, I remained excited until the end though, wishing there was some kind of redemption and the plot they were wasting with Director Ji and Nina, those strange whispers that were always following the oldest sister and the crazy teacher would eventually have some space in the show. Not only were those stories wasted, the main story ended with more than 7 plot holes (that I noticed/could count). I'll give some examples: they didn't explain Dan's life as an angel (if he died when he was little, when he became an angel was he already a grown man? Did he simply wake up as an angel?); why did the Archangel and the elder man suffer God's punishment (as well as the director who lost his lover) but not the main couple?; Dan said that maybe his relationship with Yeonseo would also help the director somehow but ??? His goal in life was to put up a good Giselle performance?????; is the director immortal?; Why did the Archangel kill that man? HIS POWERS CAN DO ANYTHING!!!! HE COULD HAVE JUST LEFT HIM UNCONSCIOUS!etc etc
I honestly thought the sister was possessed or was a dark angel or something. And I also though the Director had more importance to the story other than to give some information that wasn't even that useful since they used the "Only God knows why" card every time.I was very disappointed.
And some characters were so lovable at first but then they lost a bit of their magic. I mean, do you want me to believe Dan, a literal angel, who saved abandoned dogs and protected a child from getting hit by a car, who is very smart and knows there are other ways to punish people, would try to kill someone??????????????????? Knowing that she was already being investigated?????????? Try again.
Never thought I'd say this but my favorite characters ended up being Butler Jung. At first her personality wasn't that good but in the end she proved she was like an older sister to Yeonseo.
So this is why I don't give this show a higher rating. But 8 stars isn't a bad rating at all then why am I even giving it such a good score when I pointed all the flaws in it? Well... the visuals were great...

I started this drama right after finishing Reply 1997. That was in August 2018...
It took me a while to watch this because the 21 episodes felt very long and draggy. Despise that, I adored every single scene of this show. I don't know how to explain it but even though I spent months pushing it back, once I started watching it again I would watch 6 episodes non-stop. And then have a three-month break haha. So even though it may seem contradictory, this show means a lot to me. I will explain it further in this review as I give more details about each aspect but basically, I feel like I've found and lost a friend. I felt the exact same way while watching 1997. And I'll definitely feel the same when I watch 1988.

Plot: Yeah, I was born in 2001 but I feel nostalgic whenever I think about the 90's. Maybe because I didn't get to experience those years where technology didn't exist. I think this show did an amazing job at showcasing the different eras of technology. The "pagers"/"beepers" were so amazing, I wish we still used that system today. I loved all the references they made to the World Cup, the music, the economic clash, the different cities of South Korea. The story entertained me from beginning to end so I didn't even care that it was draggy. I genuinely laughed multiple times in every episode and I also cried every now and then. I feel like the viewers got to grow with the rest of the characters because we were there when they met and when they parted ways to live their own lives and that is something I appreciated about this drama. The ending was kind of predictable but I still can't bring myself to dislike it.

Actors/Acting/Characters: Let me start by saying that, yes, I was team Chilbong. Yoo Yeon Seok had my heart since the first scene. But I accept the fact that Najung ended up with Seuregi. His character was quite interesting and different from what we usually expect from the main love interest. Najung was amazing as the protagonist. In my opinion, her character was even more likeable than Shiwon's from Reply 1997. The whole group of friends- Najung, Chilbong, Seuregi, Samcheonpo, Yoonjin, Bingeure and Haitai- was so so so so so likeable that I wish that I was living at the boarding house with them. Their chemistry was outstanding- as friends, as lovers, as family. The parents were great, even if the father scared me sometimes hahaha. I loved the whole cast and characters, to be honest. I felt attached to every single one of their stories and I have a special place in my heart for all of them. I cried, I laughed, I screamed and I lived with them and that makes me think that the actors really did an amazing job bringing them to life. But Chilbong... I don't think I've ever felt the second-lead syndrome as intensely as I did with this one and I was team Jihoo in Boys Over Flowers!! One of my favorite scenes was Najung and Chilbong's scene at the field, when Najung says "I'm thankful I was loved by you". I had never cried so hard in my life, Jesus Christ. He truly was an amazing character. Yoonji and Samcheonpo's relationship was iconic. Totally different people who just worked well together. The friendship between Chilbong and Bingeure warmed my heart. Haitai was so funny that I couldn't help but wish I knew someone like him in real life. To sum it up: perfect cast to portray the perfect characters.

Music: Probably the best part. And that is saying A LOT. Every song in this drama was incredible and I found some amazing artists and songs because of it! Just like 1997's, I will listen to the soundtrack often. One of the best I've ever seen, if not the best.

Rewatch Value: When I wasn't watching this (during my "break" times) I would think "It's taking me so long to finish it... I'll never rewatch this." but I've changed my mind 100000%. If this drama makes me feel so many amazing things, why wouldn't it rewatch it???? I'll certainly do that at least once every two years. Just like Reply 1997. Too good to only watch it once.

OVERALL
Ahhh my heart is broken and happy at the same time.
When I remembered I still hadn't finished this drama ,I would think: "Well, I guess 1997 is just better than this one.". But WHILE WATCHING I couldn't bring myself to skip over scenes. I could only think "I love this so much." or "I feel so nostalgic." or "The soundtrack is so amazing." or "CHILBONGIE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, PLEASE DONT BE SAD!!". Honestly, my heart felt so warm while watching this. It will forever have a special place in my heart, next to Reply 1997, because I can't choose between the two. I don't want to choose! They're both in my top 10 favorite dramas and that is quite impressive.
I adored this and I know that when I rewatch this in 2, 6, 15 years I will still remember this feeling. And that is something I can't ignore. So yeah, 10 stars!

I would like to start this review by saying that I know that this is, for a lot of people, the perfect cliché drama. For me, it is indeed very cliché but I don't think it's anywhere near perfect. I did enjoy it very much but it didn't really blow my mind. I know it's quite old so, for its time, I think it did fairly well. And I've always been curious about it so I'm glad I watched it. I'll now detail my review a little.

Story- Probably the worst part for me. So cliché and not even done well. But I do have to admit it was entertaining. Unfortunately, the ending was not for me. Not because I was upset with who she ended up with but the last scene was quite bad, in my opinion. The plot is extremely unrealistic which makes it boring at times and I did skip some seconds every now and then. But, again, it's quite entertaining and at least it made sense in a way. The dialogue was a hit or miss for me. To sum it up, I've seen worse.

Acting/Cast/Characters- Unlike many people, this was my first impression of every actor in this show. I had heard of them before but it's my first time watching them act. In this, they weren't outstanding, even though they were very likeable. The characters were just... too much? I did like all three guys and Minam wasn't unlikeable but she was pathetic at times, I must say. Jeremy was so so so cute! His bus' scenes were heartbreaking and probably my favorite in the show. Shinwoo was such a gentleman... I do think he pushed Minam a little too hard but after all he had good intentions and I suppose it's really hard to be in a position like his. I would have chosen him! Now, Taekyung... ahhh he's in a whole different world. The other characters were quite good but forgettable. I did like the president though. I don't think the chemistry was that good but it wasn't terrible either. I really like the cast but it could have been better. I'm sure their other dramas are a way better representation of who they are as actors because this one was probably one of the first works for many of them.

Music- My favorite part. 10000%. It felt so nostalgic! The ballads are my favorite.

Rewatch value- Because it didn't really touch my heart, I don't think I will rewatch it anytime soon but I don't completely exclude the possibility! It was entertaining after all.

Even though this wasn't my favorite, I can see why this drama is very important to many people and also its contribution to the drama world. I'm really glad I watched it, even if it took me like... 3 months?? Oh well, I will definitely watch more dramas with this cast!

Watch it if you want to feel nostalgic. ^^

This was, undoubtedly, the best bl movie I've ever seen. The romance is sweet, it's entertaining and exciting all along... Can't believe I didn't watch it sooner! I'm going to watch the sequel (Friday---Sunday) right after finishing writing this review. Soooo cute, it warmed my heart. I hope it ends well for them. I'm rooting for this relationship! They seem to be healthy for each other and are making the other person experience different things. I love the cast too. I'll write another review after watching the second part ^^.

It grew on me

I'm glad I watched this show. I don't know why because it's full of tropes and some moments or plot points weren't convincing – some parts were laughable because of how convenient they were to the plot. I wanted to drop the drama after 2 or 3 episodes but I kept on watching because I love the two main leads and every show they've been a part of.
And SOMEHOW the things that annoyed me the most about the show (exaggerated "charicature comedy" like with the butler and the employees, KYJ not really fitting her "cold CEO" role IMO, trope after trope, not that strong of a chemistry between the two leads...) slowly improved. I probably just matched my expectations to what I was watching and got used to the style of the show. Once I accepted it for what it was it got better and I ended up enjoying many aspects, such as how the main leads evolved over time as individuals and in their relationship, the suspense that was predictable but still fun to watch, the relationships between the "villains", the play with the ideas of good and evil and the aesthetic of the show. I'm glad I had time to binge-watch it though because I would have dropped it had watched it as it came out or couldn't skip forward certain parts.

And how stunning are SK and KYJ? Like damn, they suit each other so well TT

Unsatisfying ending

This is going to be a short review because the drama isn't all that complex. It had everything to be unforgettable but I think it lacked complexity as the story progressed. The twists were very simple and not that impactful, although kinda sad. Some characters were left behind as the story progressed and although I liked learning about multiple characters that appeared for just one episode, it became detrimental to the development of the characters we were following throughout the show. I think Move to Heaven did a great job at balancing these "temporary" characters with the development of the main characters – in my opinion, way better than this show. The ending was unsatisfying in certain aspects.

Despite all of this, I enjoyed this show because I could binge watch it in two days and not have to think too deeply about it. The chemistry between the actors was what sold it for me, although in the last episodes I feel like their relationship was too underdevoloped and... didn't hit that much? LOL I like sparkling love, and this one was too mature without the fire in it? But I loved both actors and the supporting cast! This show made me laugh and it made me cry and I think it's a good show for a chill weekend.

1 Litre of Tears indeed

This is a drama I feel quite uncomfortable reviewing because it was based on a real story of a very strong young girl who had to deal with this heartless disease. It's the first drama that I've seen, as far as I remember, that was based on a real story so it impacted me on a personal level, which didn't happen with other sad dramas.
It was really touching how we got to witness the consequences of Aya's disease not only on her life but also on every other character's life. Her siblings, her parents, her friends, her lover. I think the cast was very well chosen and fit their roles perfectly. Also, unlike other people, I don't mind that Haruto's character was written specifically for the drama because his character added another layer of reflection and represented Aya's "lost" love life.
There were many impactful scenes, like the one where Ako is scolding Hiro or the scenes where the students are singing that beautiful song together. I think they did the best they could to make sure Aya would always be remembered as a sweet, strong, stunning young girl who had a heart of gold and touched so many people with her sensitivity and honest wiseness.

After 7 months (I started watching this in September), I finally completed this drama. Yes, you heard (read lol) well: 7 months! I don't know why it took me so long to finish this show, because the quality of the cast, the production, the action scenes etc is undeniable. I did end up giving it 9 stars. But it wasn't a drama that grabbed me to the point I was obsessed. I would watch it every now and then, two episodes at a time, and then not watch it for a while. For that reason, I can't give a 10. Also, I must admit that the last 2 episodes disappointed me quite a lot. It was way too fast-paced and the ending didn't satisfy me because it was underwhelming and we didn't get to see how the relationships between some characters developed after the revelations. Nonetheless, I really loved the story and the characters. The side-characters were amazing! The ajumma and the young girl were great, the lawyer father and the ex-inmates were hilarious, the bad guys were interesting and everyone was profissional and acted superbly well. It's for that reason that I disliked the ending: we didn't get a conclusion for most side-characters which I fell that, in this situation, was very much needed.

I really liked this drama and I hope you'll like it too!

I have to say I really enjoyed this drama. I've been trying to watch older dramas and since I really liked Jung Yonghwa in You're Beautiful I decided to watch this show. I was very apprehensive because Park Shin Hye isn't my favorite actress. I actually had a bad experience with her in You're Beautiful. However, I think she fits the female lead's character so well that I'm starting to change my mind a bit about her! I really liked the main couple's chemistry all throughout the drama, except for the last episode. I think their last (well, the one before the last) wasn't that well acted. The last episode was very rushed in general... Thankfully the rest of the show was consistent and made justice to the characters.
I looooved the second couple! Jung YoonSoo is so so so so beautiful that I couldn't take my eyes off her! The Director was a big douchebag, in my opinion, but he did redeem himself later on. Both actors did a great job.
I also really loved all the secondary characters and I wish we had more scenes with them. Sarang is iconic.
The music was great but it got too repetitive. Poor Shin, always performing the same songs over and over...
Overall, a pleasant surprise and loveable characters that turned a simple plot into something special.

I don't even know where to start. I don't feel like writing a proper review so here's me brainstorming all my emotions and thoughts ten minutes after watching the last episode, still teary-eyed:

I decided to watch this show because Trapped left such a strong impression on me. I had big hopes for the history series and MODC certainly did not disappoint.

The chemistry between the cast made the whole show for me. EVERY interaction was gold, even if the plot didn't go the way most of us didn't want it to go (I'm not gonna cry again.............fuc-----). The actors were phenomenal and I really hope they keep acting on good dramas in the future.
The characters were incredible, in my opinion. I got frustrated at the secondary couple at first but eventually fell for them. I laughed SO HARD whenever the friends were together. Those twins??? FINE AF! (Everyone was fiiiine though haha).
Our main couple... what can I even say about them? Watching their development as the episodes went by was an amazing experience. Their relationship was portrayed in a very sincere way, and for once it was really healthy. They helped each other grow up and... live. I will never forget them. The actors did a mind-blowing job. Every touch, every look, every smile, every tear. Simply stunning.
The only characters that didn't go through that much of a development, in my opinion, were the parents. I know not every character evolves in a certain way but I do think they were quite insensitive at times, specially in the last episode (no spoilers).

The music? AMAZING. I have to download every single song from this soundtrack. I would never skip the intro because of the amazing ost, and the music always matched the mood and the aesthetic of the cinematography throughout the show, which made me really happy.

Although it'll be hard to rewatch, I don't exclude the possibility. At least for the sweet moments. That ending... hm... many people were unpleased and I was, too. However, I think it makes sense. The title is so meaningful, just like the many lessons this show taught the viewers. I'm grateful they took a risk, even if I don't necessarily agree with it. I was hoping they would make an alternative ending but I'm way too naive for even thinking about that possibility but hey, nothing is impossible, right? I wanted more interactions between the cast, at least!

Taiwan's BL's quality is outstanding. Even better than South Korea and Japan in BL's (who have higher budgets), I must say. They keep getting better and better at character development in the HIStory series and the plot keeps making my heart actually hurt, sometimes in positive ways, sometimes in.....not so positive ways. But I'm really looking forward to the next season of the HIStory series! I'm so thankful this BL didn't even feel like a BL? How to explain... I really felt like the way a relationship between men was portrayed (and the actors are probably straight, not sure) wasn't awkward at all, which happens in most BL's, even if only a tiny bit.

I won't ever, ever, ever forget this story and these characters. I'll create an alternative ending in my head but I'm thankful for everything I've learned from this show. We must live in the present and make every single day, as insignificant as it may look, count.
