Do not think this is a typical war movie. It is more like a historical documentation combinated with acted parts to enlive the story. Sato Takeru acts very realistic so it is easy for you to feel with the Tekketsu Kinnoutai. Great film locations on Okinawa and the fantstic theme sounds of the famous movie "Letters from Iwo Jima" (I?jima Kara no Tegami)are adding up to a sentimental documentation which is a good chance for you to learn something about second WW history. If you are interested in history and want to learn something about the suffering of people in a war, you have to watch this!
