I've dropped this series but despite that, I encourage you to give this series a chance!
Story - 8/10: I feel like the summary provided is a little misleading. Xiao Nuan did not get hired to pretend to like Mo Fei. It's a little more complicated than that so you should watch it yourself to see what happens; I don't want to spoil it for you :) The story is a little like that cliche of rich man, poor woman so if you like those kinds of plots, it's definitely recommended. There's a lot of components in here that is not typical in regular dramas. For example, there's no love triangle and the rich mom does not go against the poor girl. The reason I dropped this series is because the pacing of the "getting to know each other" is too slow for my liking. Even after 15 episodes, Mo Fei is still mean to Xiao Nuan, even if he didn't mean it. It just feels frustrating that he can't express his feelings in a nicer way even after watching 15 episodes. If you can be tolerant to that, I definitely encourage you to watch!
Acting/Cast - 10/10: I feel like Lawrence Wong was fit for his role. He does look really cold and has this stern expression on his face but he is indeed warm-hearted. As for Xu Has, she is cute and lovable. I have heard everyone in the comments saying how she is perfect, unlike really skinny girl leads that other series have (which I totally agree with). I also have to point out that her outfits are always beautiful. It's so stylish that I have to applaud the stylist for doing such a good job. Although, the drama portrays her a poor but she tends to dress a lot better than average people...
Music - 10/10: When I first heard the music, I was in love. The theme song played and the first impression I got was that the drama was going to be sweet and refreshing. If you watch it on Youtube, some bits of the audio is cut off in every episode and I believe that is because they want to avoid copyright reasons. That is why I have not heard all of the OSTs but the ones that are still played are very beautiful.
Rewatch Value - 7/10: This section is probably explanatory. I dropped it and it is unlikely that I'll watch it again but if I do feel like it, I will definitely give it another chance.
The series didn't grab my attention enough. I didn't stay for the whole ride but I am sure that there are people who would enjoy it! (I've also heard that things get a lot worse near the end but you should read other reviews from people who have watched the whole thing!)
