In Amazement!!
I thought this drama was perfect! I am in amazement at how many reviews have missed the whole story line and decided to focus mainly on the acting skills of the ML and FL. Living in North America, it is fascinating for me to learn about other country technologies and their perspectives as they apply to the world market. I certainly won't take anything away from Dylan Wang and Bai Lu as they both are exceptional actors. It is refreshing to see Dylan Wang accomplish a more serious modern day role and how he brings a mature level to his acting. I have seen Bai Lu in many dramas and her acting gives a "real" feel to her roles. I would definitely rewatch this drama again.Was this review helpful to you?
Different Worlds but Love is still the same
I am so sad that this has ended.... It was such a great drama! It just shows that any period of time, there can be deceit amongst families, power struggles but good prevails. I wish Chen Zye Yuan and Wu Xuan Yi could do another drama together as they have such good chemistry. I will definitely add this to my list of favorites.I am thoroughly enjoying this drama. What a fresh approach, using a Werewolf as the main character. Chen Zhe Yuan make up is wonderful and he is very versatile in changing roles. Wu Xuan Yi is such a good actoress. I like how she can be funny at one time and then extremely serious at another time. Eventhough they are from different worlds, they seem to show a compassion for each other. They are at odds sometimes with what they want to do, but it seems being from different worlds is not the problem, I can't wait for the next episodes to see how well things progress.

Fang-tastic Drama
Only 2 episodes left but I don't want it to end! I have really enjoyed this drama and I have put it on my favorites list. Ok Taecyeon is so versatile in his acting and I have watched several of his dramas and he always seems to actually live the role he is playing. Won Ji An is a new actress to me as I have not seen any of her previous dramas. Her acting in this drams is extremely good and you can almost feel the absolute despair and loneliness she has endured in her life. I am sorry that some people don't find this drama interesting or funny or lacks whatever, but if you look at it, you will see how good and evil have a place in our world or in any other world for that matter.... It would be good to see Ok Taecyeon and Won Ji An together again in another drama.Was this review helpful to you?
Oh How the Sparks Can Fly!!
We all know how dangerous Firefighting can be and William Chan plays an excellent part. I have seen him in other dramas and I find he is versatile and sophisticated in his acting. This is my first time seeing Zhang Ruo Nan and I am so impressed by her performance in this drama. She is someone I will continue to follow. It is interesting to see how to Reporters can also have a dangerous job and how well this fits with Firefighting. We can't forget about the dogs....they are adorable. I enjoy how William Chan can be awkward around Zhang Ruo Nan but she is strong willed but not clingy. Men don't always have to be macho around women and that's what I like about this drama. I also like Ren Hao and Luo Qiu Yun characters...a fireman trying to break down her barriers . The Director/Producer did a great job in selecting this actors for this drama,Was this review helpful to you?
Encounters and Solutions
I anticipated a good drams when I saw the Trailer but I never expected such an intense content. I am thoroughly enjoying this drama. Through out my life, I have encountered people with problems similar to those in the drama. We never know what is going on in someone's life at any one time and we should be cognizant of our surroundings, Society, in general, places a lot of inequalities upon us each day, but it's how we navigate them that make us stronger and sometimes we need some intervention from an outside source. This drama has very intense stories and I wonder how the cast themselves felt about doing each episode. The main cast is strong and amazing in their projection of each character but even the other cast members who are involved in each episode are very good. I hope that most people who watch this drama can take away a renewed perspective of being kind and helpful to one another.Was this review helpful to you?
Beyond Extraordinary
This has been one of the most enjoyable dramas I have seen. I congratulate the writer, actors and production staff for the way in which they brought to life our trails, tribulations, anxieties and emotions of everyday living, In our lives when we have not so good days, this would be a drama to watch. Although I enjoyed all the characters, they couldn't have picked better main actors than Seo In-Guk and Park Bo -Young. Seo In-Guk's eyes portrayed so many emotions without saying any words and Park Bo-Young's emotions came through on her whole face without words needing to be said and the chemistry between them was fantastic. There are so many aspects of this drama that we, as humans, should pay attention to and I can't fathom why anyone would not enjoy this drama even if they only watched a short number of episodes. This is definitely a "must watch again" drama for me.Was this review helpful to you?
Life at it's finest!
I am so engulfed in this story, to the point of going back and watching from Episode 1 again, oh alright several times re-watching again! .... I usually do not re-watch dramas unless I find the topic or cast members interesting but this drama has given me both of those. It shows how not everyone is meant to be "book smart" as in going to college or being capable of the intense training such as the SWAT team. Each person is an individual with individual strengths and weaknesses but love has neither. Love does not discriminate; love does not acquire social status or to place blame or fault. Love is pure and in this drama, it shows how love can remain in your heart even after a separation. JBR and TSY have to be two of the most natural actors and I am glad they did this drama. Even down to their kissing scenes, there movements are natural and not stiff. It's like watching your two best friends find their love again for each other. It would be great to see these two do another drama together. This drama has been added to my All Time Favorite list and I will watch again when I need a good dose of love and life at it's finest.Was this review helpful to you?
A Sea of Emotions
I love this story! For someone who lives in North America, I find the whole concept of Haenyeo(women divers)fascinating. and this is what I love about watching Korean Dramas. I learn so much more from the dramas than from a written book. I am somewhat familar with Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun in their various dramas, but I think this drama shows their talents and chemistry really well. It's funny how parents' grudges become their children's problems but yet their health concerns are kept away from the children. I enjoy how this drama is very realistic portrayal of everyday life in a small community. All in all, this is a drama I would watch again.Was this review helpful to you?
Mystery and Intrigue!! Love it!!
I am soooo enjoying this drama. I have read reviews from other sites who complain about the "actors not being suited for this drama" or the story is not good or FL is the wrong person to play the part or the production of the drama is terrible. I am loving all the main actors and I think they are managing their roles really well. It is hard today to imagine what they had to go through to prove innocence or guilt in those days. There was no DNA testing, no technological advancements, just old fashion logic and reasoning. We seem to have lost our logic/reasoning these days. It is a story that keeps me interested and wanting to know the true criminals. After working on computers all day, it's refreshing to have to use my brain to think and keep track of all the events happening.Was this review helpful to you?
More than just a drama, but a reality
In am so thankful for such a great drama. It was intense, heart wrenching with an overtone of reality. Cha Eun Woo's maturity in this role is superb and eventhough Kim Nam Joo had been away from acting for a time, she hasn't lost her presence as an actress. The remaining main stream actors all played a very impressive part. As we can see from this drama, our world is not perfect. We do need a balance of good and evil to survive and sometines that balance sways too far in one direction and needs correction.Was this review helpful to you?
Sometimes less is more
I find this an enjoyable watch. Its story line is simplified and uncomplicated. Up to ep 8 it doesn't have a lot of complicated scenarios that make you have to rewind to complete the story. It shows how love can happen anywhere or any time. I read a saying that says, "love knows no age, no gender, no race" . The two male main leads have a good chemistry and their scenes together seem somewhat natural. Sometimes you find a drama that eventhough there wasn't a lot of promotion for; come to be a worthwhile watch and this show seems to fit that case for me, I hope both of these male leads have an opportunity to do more dramas.Was this review helpful to you?
Oh How Life Plays With Our Emotions
I am so happy that Wang Zi Qi and Wang Yu Wen are back together for another drama. I loved them in "Once we get Married". Their acting is so natural and has a real life feel to it. Their interpretations of a couple's emotions is really well done. I wish they could do a period drama together to see if their emotions would be as real. To this point, I find the story interesting in that they both work parallel to each other with a rocky start but once it was known who the father of Min Hui's child is, they still focus on their work but more attention is given to their son. I hope there are a few twists and turns in the next few episodes.Was this review helpful to you?
The World We Live In
This drama has a great cast who have brought to life a very poignant story line. The director and its production crew should also be commended for portraying this story in such a dynamic manner. There are not many dramas that I would watch again but this is definitely one that I would watch a few more times. Although this is fiction, it does portray some real life aspects such as protection of family and friends, betrayal of those you wouldn't have expected or the comedic side of someone who never seemed to be more than stoic.
