Hello!
Canadian/Chinese student who likes binging shows from around the world. My main fields of study are neurosci, psych, and international relations, so feel free to talk about adjacent topics with me!
Fluent in English, Chinese and French. Can (very barely) communicate in Japanese and Spanish.
---
Genre Preferences:
Action, adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, psychological, wuxia/xianxia/xuanhuan, tokusatsu, horror and historical. Friendship and healthy family dynamics are everything to me.
Not usually a big fan of romance, romcom, youth, or slice-of-life. Of course, there are always exceptions so I'm up for any recommendations!

Fangs of Fortune (#1)
Ever Night Season 1 (#2)

Mostly a Chinese Drama watcher (because mother tongue), but I'll seriously watch anything if it's a genre up my alley

Basic common sense:
YOU CAN HAVE YOUR OWN OPINIONS WITHOUT DISRESPECTING OTHERS.
ACTORS ARE HUMAN WHO MAKE MISTAKES AND HAVE HUMAN PROBLEMS. THEY ARE NOT PERFECT AND DESERVE SOME PRIVACY, BUT DON'T BE BLIND TO THEIR OBVIOUS FLAWS.
DO NOT WORSHIP CELEBRITIES.
STOP GATEKEEPING. IT DOESN'T MAKE YOU SPECIAL.
INFLATING/DOWNFLATING RATINGS IS AS ABSURD AS MOB MENTALITY.
Media literacy is not hard. You just have to make an effort to apply it. (yes I'm talking to you the loud minority of obsessive fans)
