This is without a doubt one of my all time favorites.
I am undoubtedly in love with Park Shin Hye so I was looking for more shows of hers to watch after finishing 'The Heirs' and 'Flower Boy Next Door', and that's when I stumbled upon this show.

A downfall to this show would be that (not spoiling) the backstory of Choi Dal Po is explained in a sort of complex and confusing way throughout the show, but at the same time I wouldn't really even call it a downfall because the way it was executed really left me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going on before the episodes revealed it.

I'm a sucker for soundtracks so I was pretty bummed when the one for this drama wasn't memorable, but none the less the show is pretty spectacular.

I would also like to touch on Choi Dal Po's haircut for the entire beginning of the show because what the hell was that? Seriously it was funny, but why... just why.

I know I've just commented on all of the things wrong with this show, but as you can see from my ratings I'm pretty much in love with this show and I still think that the mains have pretty much perfect chemistry. Each character has their own backstory drama, so it was really fun to watch the back stories unfold and to begin to understand each character more and more as the show progressed. There were definitely a lot of revelations that left me gasping and pausing the episodes to rethink my life. The acting overall great as well, I definitely searched for most of the actors in this show after finishing it.

I recommend this show to literally everyone- especially those who like dramatic and suspenseful dramas.

I watched this drama a while ago, but I stumbled upon its page today and saw that it had an overall rating of 7.4, so I thought I ought to make a review telling everyone not to believe that rating. I'll be honest, I watched this drama because it had Ahn Jae Hyun, dealt with vampirism, and was fairly well rated. It was actually one of the first dramas I ever watched and even then I knew that it was bad. The first seven or so episodes are OK, but after that point, the whole show just goes completely downhill. I feel like I sped through the beginning of this drama because it had genuinely good content, but as the show went on I found myself waiting days between each episode because forcing myself to watch it was miserable and I just couldn't do it. Side-note: don't even get me started on that ending. I mean what the hell was that? In conclusion, this drama is an idea that wasn't well thought out and could have been easily squeezed into ten episodes (or less) and still had the same content without anything lost. Please don't watch this, for your own well-being.

I was so surprised to see Red Velvet's Joy in a drama, but I think this role suits her really well. Her semi-awkward acting really compliments her character. I'm a sucker for idol dramas (with idol actors or dramas with actors as idols in the show) and this definitely hits the spot. The plot is good and it kept me watching, but was a little slow in some spots- the whole time I was basically just pressing the 'next episode' button and waiting for the Joy and Lee Hyun Woo to figure out their feelings. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I can see how it might lower your rating of the show. Because this show features a band (CRUDEPLAY) which was created inside of Lovely Love Lie, it allows for a lot of boy group style songs which are original to the show, which was really cool. Plus Joy's fun songs and her collaborations with the made lead left me humming for weeks after I finished this drama. It's one of the only dramas I've seen which features so many original songs that are not just OSTs, but are actually written for the characters to perform on the show, so that was really interesting. If you're not in it for the plot, the music alone makes it a must watch.
