This was one of those drama's that I finished in three days because It was hard to tear myself away from the computer.

This movie follows the manga/anime in that there is no plot. Just a bunch of unique delinquents thrown together in a school and the hilariousness ensues. If your looking for a good laugh and a quick watch, this is perfect for you!

What I love the most about this series is the characters and their relationships. These characters were well rounded and believable. They all had their quirks, they all had their hardships and they all had their issues. You believe these are real students, with real family issues battling through one of the most difficult times in persons life. You see these struggling teens become adults over the course of the show. No character was innocent and every one of them made mistakes, as one does in life. I believe this show teaches some important lessons that will help you through life.
Not only do we learn that people make mistakes, and that these mistakes don't have to define you as a person, but we also learn that life is short. Don't get distracted by the drama and expectations or opinions of the people around you. Live your life and cherish your friends, you may not be friends forever but the times you spent together should be remembered. Its hard to see your future and all the challenges it might hold but you have to keep fighting because life is just too beautiful to give up.
I really love how this drama also addressed the hypocrisy of school institutions, the crazy expectations students are expected to fulfill and the large amount of undue stress students face from parents, teachers, the media and society. The students are battling each other for the best grades. The elite students study so hard they get sick and the less intelligent students feel like they have no chance. All of them are stressed in one way or another. These students are told that the decisions they make now will affect them in the future. Any mistake will be on there permanent record and a bad grade or lower rank is like the end of the world. When you're in high school, it is hard to see where your future will lead.
At the end of this drama, we learn that the future isn't certain and that's okay. Everyone is nervous and unsure about what it may bring, but with some good friends and a positive outlook, you can handle it. Life is hard, but cheer up!
I also feel how the relationships build in this drama are perfect. The romance between the two main characters wasn't rushed, it wasn't love at first sight and it wasn't head over heels. These two built a relationship over time and began when both characters were ready and mutually in like. It's as grounded a relationship than I have seen in a drama in a while.
I didn't care for the soundtrack, but I'm just not a big OST fan. I remembering one song repeating over and over again. It was stuck in my head for days and I am so happy I don't remember what it was. This is why my soundtrack rating was so meh. What I disliked about this series was that at some points it was just very hard to continue watching, not because it was bad, but because some moments were so heart-wrenching I just couldn't stand watching the characters go through it. Many moments just hit a little to close to home for me and it made it difficult to watch. I am extremely happy I forged through, however, because the ending was sol worth it and well deserved for the characters!
I would definitely recommend this drama to anyone and everyone. However, I probably won't be rematching it any time soon because, as I said, some parts were just hard to get past. This doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the series for what it has done. I just wan't to be honest.
Excuse me for this long review. I'm sure I sound preachy ( and this review is all over the place), but after having months to think on this drama, I feel that these are the reasons why this drama so interesting, unique, and refreshing. And the reason why I haven't been able to get this drama out of my head until I shared my thoughts!
( If I may fangirl for a second, OMG JI SOO!)

The drama compared to the manga/novel combined wasn't half as gory and didn't fully capture the creepy quality that 'Goth possesses'. They combined allot of stories in 'Goth' together to create the plot line of this movie. It is still interesting and it manages to work. The characters fit the manga/novel's characters perfectly. The mail lead is absolutely spectacular in this and captures the characters role well while the female role's character isn't captured as well but she still fits the part.
For those who didn't read the manga and novel:
This is a very artistic movie and I appreciate it for that. The themes are dark for those who want a switch up from your normal love-com. Which there are subtle hints of romance but it really focuses on each persons dark passion towards murderers. The characters make the movie really. Its a bit slow from the beginning but gets more interesting as it goes on. Each time you watch the movie you catch something you didn't the first time and it just gets better from there. This movie also highlights a sub-culture in japan that isn't usually focused on in many drama's.
If your you want a dark mystery with an artistic sense then this is the movie for you.

I was honestly surprised about how many negative reviews this got. I do agree that the main characters acting wasn't the greatest but he played the part well and I enjoyed watching him. His acting gets better as the series goes on also. He plays an angsty vampire well. Kondo Masahiko is beautiful and acts well in the series. I felt the supporting cast was great also not to mention features some popular faces.
One thing to mention is this story is nothing like Twilight. If you were looking for a twilight-esque series then this isn't it.
All in all, I loved this series from start to finish and anticipated every episode. This series made me love Nakayama yuma and re-newed my love for vampires. Koishite Akuma is one of the most enjoyable drama's I have ever watched and I hope you can give it a try and enjoy it too.

First of all the storyline followed the anime allot which I was unhappy about because of how abrupt the anime ending was and it seemed like the storyline skipped from one extreme to the next (including the anime). I was very satisfied, however, with how closely related the characters were to the Anime/Manga characters and setting wise.
The drama captured all the comedy perfectly and I laughed out loud more then a few times. Usually when a manga/anime is made into a drama they lose sight of what makes the series so special but this series has no problem with that what so ever.
Yamamoto Yusuke was the perfect Tamaki and I enjoyed his acting the most in the whole series. There is really a star cast and thats what makes this drama great. The actors were casted perfectly and all did great justice to the manga/anime characters. However, I feel that the main actress could have done a better Haruhi, her performance was lacking something that I didn't feel from the actual character.
I definitely recommend this drama to all Ouran High fans and non-fans alike.

Cliche but Cute
This story brought nothing new to the table in terms of plot, story, characters, or setting. It is a very safe story with nothing pushing the boundaries outside fluff. But this isn't a bad thing! Its the perfect story for those days you just want to curl up and watch a simple, sweet, cute, and quick drama. I just got to sit back and watch a natural romance between two men develop without having to become invested in anything. The characters are cute and the chemistry between the two male protagonists is adorable. Nothing steamy or overwhelming. Their romance developed naturally and without the infatuation at first sight we get in a lot of romance dramas. The female best friend was amazing and I think we can all identify with her character at one point in our lives.
