Loving it

Okay, writers, you have outdone yourselves! I love the pace of the plot—it's not stagnant or too fast. You have the main characters developing new skills related to their environment and temperament. Great job.

Hmmm

FL seemed slow reacting to the pure chaos brewing in Pearl Tower. Watching every key event play out was invigorating—one-by-one. Yet I was left dumbfounded about the FL mom reveal. it was shoved in our face and slow-paced. Which threw off the fast-paced climax of the episode. As a result, the moment felt misplaced to the point where it felt like an unskippable side quest. The latter half of the episode feels out of place with its slowed monologue, which ignores the madness behind it—especially the environmental effects of the burning of Pearl Tower as people sail away. I think this story has great potential still.

wheres the seemingly witty and smart FL?

We were introduced to a seemingly smart, innovative FL in the first two episodes, but now she seems like a rash young child unaware of the severity of her actions and surroundings. I'm wondering why the writers reduced her to such a character. She's now in charge of the little one "Shrimp" and has pulled him into a scenario where the poor kid is at the mercy of her whatlessness. I understand she's seeking revenge, however her actions now don't make sense. Now I'm wondering what having sense looks like to her now since she now has some sort of brain damage...and she turn stupid.
