Both are second chance romances, where the female lead abruptly breaks up/abandons the ML. Lovestruck in the city though, puts a bigger focus on their relationship the first time around and how they fell in love in the first place, meanwhile in soundtrack #2 the story takes place mostly after they reunited.

Both dramas share the same genres: romance & semi-fantasy
The FLs in both dramas have a special ability that causes them to get involved with the respective male leads. KSS is more of a romance drama though and doesn't include a mystery arc

-Both are survival shows
-The characters are trapped in an enclosed space( the residence and the school)
-both are about a virus that's spreading and turns people into monsters
-some of the characters gain a half monster- half human nature (hambies and the ml in sweet home)
- both touch the consequences of bullying and school abuse

The main differences are the type of the monsters (zombies vs whatever these are) and the age differenc, considering aouad is mostly about students.
