Average Web Drama
This is a cute, short web drama that is a great weekend time-sucker. The acting was pretty decent and comedic at times and all the actors are eye candy, especially the lead male (still, I had second lead syndrome). But even so, I felt that the plot was pretty mediocre and has been done many many times, nothing special. So I was never really engrossed in the story. It may be because each episode is only 15 minutes and there are only 10 episodes, but I felt pretty disconnected from most of the characters. In fact, I was not really compelled to watch every episode but I forced myself to finish it. Therefore, I cannot give it a higher rating. Was this review helpful to you?
Interestingly, the story was tight and moved fast but each scene was paced beautifully slow. The cinematography was beautiful and captured the essence of each time period.
I LOVED the actors. Greg and Alice did a wonderful job. Greg’s lovable and cheeky energy combined with Alice’s amazing acting skills (easily switching to and from two different characters) accentuated the plot. Greg was never on my radar, but after watching this, I have become a huge fan. :) Patrick was also quite charming. The high school trio is super cute and college Greg and Alice is so fluffy I could not even haha.
Although I do not listen to the time traveling song’s genre, it was stuck in my head days after watching. haha
This was truly a masterpiece, I’m glad I discovered it :)

Story-wise, I was less impressed. The romance storyline was a little bit on the awkward side. I don't know if its because the leads are less experienced actors and therefore cannot deliver raw emotion well enough or if the writing for the love line was lacking. Nonetheless, I could not feel the chemistry between Wei Chu and Feng Piao Piao. Their "intimate" seems were stiff and low key uncomfortable to sit through. The tai chi/family feud storyline was fine. Classic predictable hero's journey archetype from Piao Piao. The episodes, though, were a little draggy and there were many, many, unnecessarily long montages of Piao Piao practicing tai chi. They were shot beautifully but did not really move the story along.
The acting was mediocre. It is obvious that the actors are rookies or idols but the acting wasn't glaringly bad. So although there weren't any shining moments, you wouldn't get distracted from the plot.
The OST was pretty good. I especially like Bi Wen Jun's voice in "Fisted Heart, Fisted Intention".
Overall, I couldn't give this drama a high rating because I have seen better idol dramas in terms of storyline and acting. But it is still a great watch if you have the time and patience. :)

Really good melodrama!
There are a lot of negative reviews and complaints for this drama but I thought it was a very entertaining melodrama. The first 24 episodes of the show was a sweet romantic comedy and the last 12 episodes became a tear jerking melodrama. I could see and understand each of the characters’ points of view, even the “antagonistic” characters. And unlike many of the other reviewers, I particularly liked the yearning and misunderstanding parts of the drama because I ugly cried and became so emotionally invested. Loved it!Was this review helpful to you?
