Revenge is a dish best served cold... loved it!
mix of romance + thriller + justice in one bag.First... again Park Min Young (Ji-Won) delivered an outstanding performance.
Since ep 1 I was cheering for her success and felt her dispair with the endless betrayals from her loved ones.
You can see her physical appeareance so fragile... it was very well done.
Na In Woo (Ji Hyeok), amazing partner in crime to have... he was instrumental in helping Ji Won get back what was stolen from her.
Now .. the bad guys... I hated them since day 1.... both the husband and the best friend... very well done for the actors that I found so hypocrite and sneaky ....
Overall... I was looking forward for the next episode... and I am very satisfied with the ending and how everything was wrapped up.
Would I recommend it ? YES
Would I watch it again ? YES
That says it all.
Time travel drama with the most silly FL ever and of course ending in cliffhanger ??♀️
Let me start… I liked the mini drama… it’s entertaining and you can binge watch it super fast.Little commitment from my side.
As usual, ML was really good… having to do the same character as stern/cold and Young/restless… I like him…
FL on the other hand… very silly girl? With the worst game plan ever…
Spoiler… as usual, she is supposed to go back to the last to undo a wrong… ended up creating the circumstances that made that wrong happen
I guess… fate is unbeatable… what is meant to happen… will happen no matter what.
It was funny, light… and ok to watch..
Good for in between heavy drama stuff
Hilarious Comedy.. outrageous and cringe, it works
Episode 1 left me laughing and thinking… what the hell did I just watch?Still intrigued… binge watch the whole thing in an evening..
This is a comedy… every character is over the top, but very well done.
ML is typical CEO… gets everything he wants, except when he meets the FL… she is fierce with him, no apologies and hard… he loves it and starts a very strange courting her to be his master kid of thing… which she refuses.
The more she pulls back, the more he wants and goes after her…
And yes, he is manipulative, stalking, and uses everything at his disposal to get her….
Still…. It was hilarious…
ML is amazing…. I liked him a lot… how can he keep a serious face when doing such weird stuff?..
Do not over think its or try to place in reality because it is not intended like that…
Just take it for what it is… a comedy fiction
If you don't have anything else to watch.... check this one ...
the premise of the story is interesting.... a girl that can hear lies and how can she cope with that.In a world where we are in constant "please others" mode... lying is a giving. So you can imagine what kind of life this girl has.
But as a smart woman... she had made a business out of it.
Here I thought.. GOOD FOR YOU! she is not a victim...
Of course, she meets the ML and there is something strange with him.. (typical.. he is the exception to the rule).
I liked that she behaved very normal with him... even though he is super famous and used to have everybody wanting something from him.
She does not need him... that is a big difference.
their romance started with a sort of friendship and moved quickly into something else... that was nice.
the story itself was OK.... It kept me interested until the end...
I took points out because the end was a bit blah....
SPOILER HERE
she decided not to profit from her gift and stop using it as a business... I do not understand why, instead of evolving with it, she quits it...
her romance with ML was cute / a bit childish too. Again one of the many k-couples that have never kissed anyone else, and behave like teenagers, even though they are 30 year old.
Overall.. it is an OK story... if you have nothing else to watch, it is OK.
Very entertaining,... should be made a longer drama
Well... this was a nice surprise.Yes, it is a low budget production. Actors were wearing the SAME CLOTHES for every single episode.
Even the king! wearing the same robe, over and over again....
No big special effects or anything like that...
Story was simple.... FL enters into virtual reality game as a beta tester, and gets "stuck" in the game.
Simply.. she can not find the "exit" button., so she has to continue in the game until it ends.
In the meantime, she falls in love with the emperor.... and the character of the emperor falls in love with her.
And as usual.... FL was typically childish, bubbly... etc etc...
ML is not the typical Emperor type. I found him a bit goofy, soft... even though he tried to look tough...
acting was OK...
2ML & 2FL were funny, much better acting.... richer story... I like them more..
SPOILER HERE!
There was a point being made about the insanity of FL... she did not want to quit the game because she was in love of the emperor and did not want to leave him alone... (??)... while the villain tried to reason with her that it was a character in the game... she did not accept that.
Which is weird and unrealistic.... but ey... anything is possible in the land of short C-dramas.
having said all this.... I was glued to the screen until it finished, wondering how would they fix the problems, and what would happen after FL goes back to reality... that's why I rated it very high.
the end left me with more questions than anything... it was supposed to be a happy ending.. seriously? with a character in the game & real girl? How can that be?
again... anything is possible in the land of short C-dramas.
still.... I would love to see this story in a long length drama :)
Good for a short lenght drama
This one is actually pretty good for a low budget short drama…The pace was pretty quick, every episode ended interesting.
The way FL and ML got together felt good.. I liked FL was mature, independent, busy with her own thing… not living for the ML like others do…
She finds her fiancee with some other woman and immediately breaks up… not looking back… because she has a healthy self estime … bravo girl! Well done… and no matter how much the parents were pressuring her to go back… she said No.
There is a clear age gap… not too long maybe 3/4 years? But it is acknowledged and actually one of the reasons why there are criticised as couple…
In the beginning ML looked very young, but later a bit less.
ML was cute and funny
The cousin, was the perfect villain… snob and arrogant…. Hater just because he can.
The song was pretty nice but over used throughout the series…
Overall, its a nice series… with a bit of rushed items as every short length drama is… but if they take the story and make it a normal length show… it would definitely succeed.
Started string but lost traction and ended blah
As usual… story started strong. FL kicked ass and made no apology…. I loved her integrity, honesty and attitude…She had a life plan and was working towards it..
Then she met the 4 knights… and it was fun in ghe beginning, with the crazy assignments she had to do….
However, at a certain point, there were no assignments and the story moved to other areas where, kind of lost traction.
The 4 knights were stereotypes… but overall ok.
Now, the SFL… that was annoying as hell… supposed to be rich and beautiful, she spent the whole story begging SML to like her… up to a point it was embarrassing…. Too much… and then out of the blue, she decides to move on … because yes, there is a limit to humiliation…. And magically the SML realised he loved her all this time and starts to be nice.
Of course she falls for him in 2 seconds, all forgiven,… this was super unrealistic, annoying and painful to see.
It is entertaining… okish
Do I recommend it? …. Not really…
Would I see it again? Nope
It has its miments, but also a bit boring
I liked it in the beginning…. The whole interaction between ML and FL from school and how they fell apart…It was engaging, fun,,, the friends that were trying to help but ending up making things worst…
It was nice…
And then…. It was the same thing… kver and over…. It got pretty boring…
FL stubborn, did not want to give the time of day to the ML, who wanted to apologise and be friends again…
Thats a woman with a grudge….
The whole side story of the friend, dying, consumed a lot of air time…. I ended up skipping it… which was already a bad signal for me,,,
Pretty low for me for that….
Revenge mini-series, with the most flirting male lead ever
Series are ok to watch, with all the needed elements to keep you interested.FL was cheated and almost killed by the boyfriend, ending up in a coma for very long time. Of course the ML was the bodyguard, always by her side, waiting patiently for her.
Interesting that during her coma, she was aware of everything what was going on around her, so when she woke up, she embarked in revenge against her fiancé and best friend.
While the situations were a bit exaggerated, they are ok to watch.
One of them.. every episode you can watch the ML either taking a shower, changing clothes or having an excuse to take out his shirt. Very confident man, for sure!
Villain fiancé is evil in a funny way… quite entertaining.
Overall, ok series that will keep you entertained.
Happiness… able to live with enough
Nice, lovely story about life… with a bit of romance,… but romance is not the main topic here.Sometimes life is just too much… cutting off all the ropes that tie us to a place, a job, a person…. Might seem dramatic but it might be the solution to .. life..
Literally going on a strike
FL could do that and broke all her attachments…. Let destiny take you to a place far distant from where you are.
I found this story a bit philosophical in its core…. But quite lovely.
Very slow, but still all characters were interesting enough to keep you watching.
Yes, I recommend it for those moments when you need a break from other heavier stories ..
Well produced short drama…. From the prod team of Goblin
If you liked Goblin, you will like this one.Short… 10 ep x 25 mins… but overall well done.
FL is nice, normal…. ML portraits the “deity” personality quite well… seriously funny…
Message… when it is meant to be… it will be..
The synopsis is not that correct, there is a lot more to the story than just that, but ai guess yiu have to see it to understand what you are missing.
Overall.. I recommend it.
Kept me glued to the tv until the end
Story starts with a disappointed FL travelling to ghe past after her fiance breaks up with her a few days before the wedding… originally the plot revolves about her, getting kver her ex-fiance… but slowly, plot changes. Her time travel is attached to an incident with a classmate that suicides… the more she looks into it, and gets to know this guy, the more complicated everything gets… this is the ML… loved her forever, she just did not notice him until too late.
The story has fun, sad, happy and a lot of slow romantic moments… successfully manages ro keep it interesting.. even with 24 episodes.
Music is lovely… whole production is nice.
Bad point… the ending! Literally the last 5 secs leave thw whole thing open… but still.. liked it enough to watch the movie that is supposed to explain more…
Lovely story with good character development…
I liked it
Marriage is a bumpy ride.. Prepare the tissues.. You will need them for these.
I have seen this series recommended multiple times… so finally decided to check it out.Totally worth it.
It starts with a painful break up based on extreme circumstances. Life is hard, especially for new mothers and fathers. Time becomes a commodity/ escarse resource in your life… days blend together and suddenly the joy of living is no longer visible.
That’s so true… that is the test of life for JJ and Ban Do.
In a mkment of pain, JJ wishes never to have met Ban Do… and her wish comes true… they both go back in time to the time right before they met.
Filled with knowledge of the future and opportunity, ghey bith embark in reliving their youth… which is understandable. No responsibility of a family… living under the parents.. enjoying student life… who would not want more?
Here is where you see the diff approach between men and women… Ban Do took the chance to court the first love, a ballerina dancer who he never dared to ask on a date. “His maybe… if…”. While JJ spent her time enjoying her family life with her mom.
I hated how Ban Do treated JJ… always putting her down, to a humiliating break point. Also JJ was not nice to him. For most of the series, I wished them happiness separately… but of course, in korean drama fashion… they found their way back to each other.
Their love was there… buried under the boredom and routine.
The series has a steady pace, keeping it interesting and the support characters were funny and lovable as well.
I enjoyed it very much… and both JJ and Ban Do managed to make me feel their emotions and end up wishing them luck and success…
Ending was ok for me.
Music was really nice.
Overall… I recommend it and would watch it again… its now one of my top series.
Short drama with strong, feisty FL that takes no BS from anyone and can fight back … bravo!
Short drama.. 20 episodes x 8 min avg…An Duoduo is strong, independent and confident… I liked her.
Consistently, she kept true to herself, and independent, even though the ML wanted her to depend on him.. she refused.
Typical poor girl background ends up in a contact marriage with rich guy… and everybody looks down on her… but she always faced her critics and spoke back… that was refreshing!
Now the ML, Qin Qin… OMG! He is ok but so skinny… painful to see.. supposed to be the “head of Qin family”… he is so young, looks out of high school Musical.. nobody believed that…
Usual plots of jealousy, greed, misunderstanding, crazy ex girlfriend that wants to ruin them, etc.
The pace was good, and it helped that DuoDuo kept herself fighting back… also, she did not accept QinQin right away, he had to fight for her attention… that was nice.
Of course because it is short duration, the end was so quick, in 1 min everything sorted out. But Overall it was entertaining, fun and refreshing..
Fluffy, candy drama.. nothing new but entertaining
This is another CEO overbearing, dominant guy and the poor but dignify girl.I liked that FL always said No, or did the opposite of what ML wanted… driving him crazy… it made the series fun and light to watch. She is proud and try to be resourceful on her own…. But the CEO is just too manipulative… basically forcing the situation so she would do what he wants… although it was not that easy to get her.
Now CEO was dominant, as expected, but too much… his demands were ridiculous… and ina stalker kind of way, forced her to change her life, as he pleased. Kudos for actor as he did his job very well…
FL acting was a bit over the top… i can not believe women would behave like her, but well… typical stereotype of k-dramas…
Situations that we have seen before.. nothing really new..
Overall… mini series of 15mins x episodes.. entertaining… it was OK if you like dominant CEO type of stories, you would like this one…
