Has been a wonderful journey. This series has everything I love-: drama(not much), romance, a bit of suspense, a whole lot of comedy, could be considered friends to lovers, hot 2nd lead couple, and there was some kind of family drama too. The celebrity plot is entertaining and fun as it includes fans, hater drama, and stuff. Gong tae-sung and Oh han-byul could be described as cute and wholesome(in my eyes). However to be honest I like Do su-hyuk and Jo ki-pum more, they're more mature as the former pair feels more like some kind of teenage puppy love(not that I hate it). The fujoshi side of me also shipped tae-sung with su-hyeok(they look so good together). Favorite character- Do Su-hyeok. Last but not the least, would I recommend this? Definitely.

Is it really worth it?

First of all, I really like this drama. It gives me a bitter sweet vibe.
The rekindling of the feeling of first love, the friendship, the family dynamic is so interesting.

I will say my favourite character so far is Jang Mo-eum. She's has a very charming personality. She's kind and brave, she knows what she wants, she the best friend you could ever wish for. She is very supportive of her friends, she seems to be open-minded too. Their friendship is so precious!

Baek Seok-ryu is strong and independent. She works hard, even when she was trying to find her dreams, I would say she is very dedicated. Her family dynamic is pretty interesting.
I wouldn't say her mother is a bad person but she really did annoyed me in episodes 7 and 8. What does she mean her life is a failure, and want Baek to live a successful life. The father too thinks he's a failure. When Baek confesses she wants to cook, that it was her dream, both her parents were furious. The father and mother is projecting their life experiences on Baek.
I feel like they don't say what they really want to say and are just be passive agressive with each other, it's just building hatred.

I don't understand why her mom wants Baek to get back with her ex. Like Baek can live a successful life in Korea too, why would she return to the US and relive all that stress. I really don't love the parents much, they are kind of annoying.
I mean I feel like Baek dealt with her sickness alone because she felt it was no big deal. She could handle it because it's always been like that.
She is unable to show she is hurt and suffering, even with the ex, she refused to explain the reason why they broke up. She doesn't know how to rely on someone or ask for help, maybe she did with her ex before he cheated.

I really understood Choi, imagine finding out your closest friend had to suffer alone as she was ill. She should have told her family and her friends about her illness. And why the heck did she tell her ex to hold onto her and not Choi. Why must she bear all the hurt and suffering alone, she doesn't deserve that.
I hope she learns to lean on her friends more, forget about the parents, I don't think she'll ever lean on them.

But at the end of all the characters are very complex and have their flaws. Let the miscommunication and misunderstandings marinate and spice their lives up!!

I have been wanting to watch this like forever. Johnny Huang is one of my favourite actors, his acting is just so good. One of the reasons I watch this was because of him. I really like the actors' chemistry, their acting felt so real. Overall I liked the plot a lot and yeah the characters were kinda violent in some scenes. Watching this made me relive the feeling I got at the end of moon lovers scarlet heart ryeo, something you wished would happen but I don't think it will. The series is great but I don't think I can re-watch it again. If you're a bl fan or not you should definitely add this to your list. Just why did they have to end it like that?
I'll be suffering for some time and maybe will watch this again after healing this unsatisfied, longing feeling (it happened with the other drama I referred to in the lines above). The only Bl c-drama I love with all my heart, I will keep it in my heart forever.

A warm and fluffy journey that's short but too good to miss out

Warm, fluffy, cozy- it felt like that(And it's short too.)The female lead and male lead are too cute. The plot was good, and the friend-to-lover stuff is not bad. I overall loved this series, the fact that they spent each Wednesday for a few moments together makes me happy and warm...they're so sweet. Why did he not confess immediately... why the one-year gap(Why so long? Is it a test?) Another thing that irked me was the scene around the ending(You'll know it when you've seen it. Hint: an unwanted proposal.) Anyway, it's good that they ended up together(I was feeling butterflies). Would definitely recommend this if you like something light, short, and fluffy.

Have been a huge fan of the webtoon. I was a bit reluctant at first because of many reasons(Don't want to get disappointed, the cast, my mood, don't wanna suffer waiting for new episodes, etc). But after having watched the two episodes I changed my mind. I was a bit surprised at first because I don't usually like dramas adapted from novels/books/webtoons since they usually disappoint me. However, I'd say this drama is worth it. I will watch it till the end 'cause the plot is great(the supernatural part of the plot is new and interesting to see in a drama ), the cast seemed experienced and I did like the ost too and am a huge fan of the story. Don't let this gem go to waste.
