The mum plot is so bad, is she causing a ruckus in the school? Call security. Is she causing a ruckus in the building? Call the police. I hate when doramas do something that can be easily solved.
TBH I am quite impressed that South Korea respect the inviolability of mails of conviction felons, the fact that someone in jail are allowed to send letters to the family of the person they killed seems so outrageous that I can't believe it is real.
Mamamoo interacts well with the cast of the show, even though it feels like there is a distance between them. I found it really funny and the first part the three younger members of Mamamoo did quite well, but I felt like Solar was a bit quiet and didn't interact as much as she could. The second part was more of the same where the show gets pretty boring despite having entertaining guests.First part is a strong 9/10, second part is a 6/10 being quite generous.
The first part was somewhat fun, following exactly how last episode ended, but the game they had to sing songs starting with a syllable where the last guest ended dragged for too long. The second part was more of the same, Soogeun saved it, but still wasn't that good.
Start off slow, but the skits are a throw back to its Golden Age
I felt like this episode started off a bit slow when they were partnering up with the guests, but as soon as they had a pair and we were blessed with something that were great in Knowing Bros early episodes, the skits, the episode flowed much better. Even though specials have A LOT of guests, those skits are better when they are done with just one or two guests, however there were moments when those other guests knew how to interact in other's skits, which made the episode really good.
I loved Yoonju in the other two episodes she was in, Sori had such an amazing aura and Sun Young was having a blast watching Hodong, but the first 45 minutes I watched fell flat and I stopped watching because it was too boring.
Authentic, but a little preparation before hand wouldn't be bad
Good episode, but since the girls aren't used to variety shows they can pass as "boring", for instance when they are showing their skills: Eunji picked doing cartwheels, which even the bros sounded unamused; we also had Yujeong doing an impression of their CEO, Brave Brothers, that even though was used by the bros along the episode completely erases her performance, however the way she stretches her mouth was praised by them for being unique, hopefully she will take it to her heart and use it next time in another show. Yuna always gave me the impression that she was the shyest, but she did quite well for someone that isn't used to varieties and Minyoung showing a great Korean traditional sword dance was great. The question part was a bit boring too, ironically they manage to make comments unrelated to the question that were either more interesting or funnier than the question itself. The last part was alright, nothing worth mentioning.
Qri shared some things she never did before, there is also Eunjung's chemistry with Kyunghoon which was really nice, a good episode with a legendary group. Usually Heechul helps a lot when girl groups go there, but since they were contemporary and he was either with SuJu, at the military or recovering from his injuries at the time, maybe he doesn't know as much about them, so I felt like since none of the bros were close to the girls it felt like they didn't have good chemistry (a group towards the other). Also, it seemed like the one that came to substitute Young-cheol was more worried about making himself show than focusing on T-ARA, after all who were the guests? Not that he wasn't funny, he did had his moments, but he was too much.BTW T-ARA kept mentioning, and they weren't asked, about a comeback, we would love that!!
