Epic Β memorable sageuk classic Kdrama
One of the first few Kdrama I watched with my mum like 20yrs ago and still memorable. It is a drama that makes me hooked on Kdrama and have been watching ever since.Every episode is so engaging, Jang Geum's endearing and inspiring character makes the story so beautiful! It is also one of the rare few food period drama in the history, without much VFX and making everything looks so good.
Now that I recalled the song is in my head and recalled the dishes, politics and relationship in the drama. Worth rewatching!

True gem of Kdrama!
This is one drama that you have to rewatch every year! That's what I do in fact. The drama deals with mental health so delicately which shows that even normal person have their own mental issue. Zo In-Sung's acting is 10/10 and Gong Hyo-Jin's performance is over the top! Her fiesty temper is so funny and she's so caring at the same time, her chemistry with Zo In-Sung is so lovely.. Jae-Yeol (In-Sung's character) dealing with his young illusion and getting beat up by his brother is just sooo sad. This drama is really a true gem! OST makes me happy :)Was this review helpful to you?
Greatness of motherly love drama
OMG watching ep 10 and don't want it to end!! It is such a good drama depicting how a mother can do anything no matter how life is so tough and hard with a son who behaves like a 7yo after an accident. You can expect to cry, laugh, feeling warm from the village's unconditional help.I was expecting there's very harsh revenge plot but everything was subtle, the focus is on mother and son's rekindled relationship which is so heartwarming and touching.
Totally worth watching and pls prepare tissues!! Lee Do Hyun's performance is outstanding BUT I think Ra Mi Ran should win a Baeksang!

One of the best!
The first few Kdrama I watched and totally in love with it! Moreover, I end up in a huge crush with Gong Yoo!!! This drama gives me butterflies with the gender neutral situation and realising gender doesn't matter. Many times I think it's beautiful given that it was showing in 2007. Until today I still think that Gong Yoo should be with Yoon Eun-Hye (she's so cute) and they make a great match. With this drama, casts like Kim Dong-Wook and Kim Jae-Wook caught my eye and still continue supporting them till today. The drama is so fun, engaging and no dull moments, I still misses the whole squad.

An entertaining movie
Jeon Do-Yeon is really the gem of Korean industry and back with an all-action role! The special effects and swift fighting ππThe storyline is abit far fetched but the cinematography is interesting, the CGI are done nicely and they tried to mimic western Kill Bill environment with the office building, lifts etc. Quite refreshing to find the similarities.
The mother and daughter relationship is suppressed, as a Netflix film there's no hesitation in displaying LGBT topics in K scene nowadays and it's definitely forward-thinking as the world evolves. If you are looking for cool dark action movie, Kill Bok Soon is for you.

Season 2 is as good as Season 1
Season 3 soonnn plsss! πππππ Last case not solved! Thank you for the excellent casts and of course Lee Je Hoon ππLee Je Hoon's versatile acting is amazingly so dashing and cute, his chemistry with rest of the casts is so good!!! Most part of the eps are real-life cases are an eye-opener and current πππ The drama's format remain consistent with S1, no draggy moments. The director deliberately cut off some fighting scenes to focus action stunts with more important roles.
Spoiler: the last "confession" Pyo Ye-Jin made is abit weird tho~~ Going to miss Kim Do Ki spitting rice!!!!! π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£

Totally entertaining and gore watch
Part 1 was totally the best, it's exciting and the VFX is so good. Making me miss Stranger Things! The gore is great too, making the drama tense and love the warmth of the kids. While I have not read the webtoon, watching the rookie actress/actor in this drama is refreshing as I've watched most of them in other dramas such as At a Distance, Spring is Green and Under the Queen's Umbrella. Btw, again sadly the story shows how tense the school system is and they have to compare it for CSAT points. :x
Watched Part 2 too, Part 1 is definitely better.

Best epic fantasy drama
Okay, there's pure biasness in this review cos I'm a huge Goo Yoo fan! This drama is pure epic fantasy with so much fun and ab-lib moments that is sooo enjoyable! The best squad for Goo Yoo, Kim Go-Eun and Lee Dong Wook who are still good friends in this time and age, that's why this drama is so precious! Although the age gap btw ML and FL but it's a fantasy so don't take it too hard, they have great chemistry and Kim Go-Eun was so young and pure which I find it cute!I'll rewatch it every winter with Quebec as the background (the cty which I visited and misses), listening to the OST gives back so much memories!
