I am very much conflicted with what to feel about this drama. I'm not a fan of historical dramas in general, because of how complex and overwhelming the story, production, and everything. I honestly did not expect myself to finish Mr. Queen, but I somehow did.

Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun were exceptional! Their acting is top-tier, especially Hye Sun. This is so different from her previous characters and she really showed off her skills here. It's so amazing how the audience can tell the difference when So Young's soul was ruling her body, compared to when Bong Hwan was taking over. In the last episode when BH returned to the present time, even without the big moves and foul language, Hye Sun was able to exhibit SY-- just through her facial expressions and change in pitch.

However, what bothers me most is how it ended. Almost the entire plotline, it was BH in SY's body whom the King loves. And then, in the end, BH just went back to his body and SY's soul resurfaced. This is just queer baiting. There could have been a better ending. I feel like how the story developed and all was written wonderfully, yet it all went down the drain with SY and Chel Jeong being happy together, and BH is alone.

I seriously don't think this drama could be any more perfect! It was so beautiful, heartwarming, and cozy. It gave me so many emotions-- from reminding me of the simple joys of being in love to the hurdles you must overcome to achieve that love. I love how it was neither boring nor dragging.

The story is simple and true to life. The actors gave justice to the plot being acting really well. You could feel their comfort and emotions. The OST is so beautiful as well! It's so perfect for the drama, and how it's incorporated into the scenes.

This is definitely a must-watch for those looking for a simple, intimate drama!

I had so high expectations for this drama but I am utterly disappointed with how it turned out. I think this is one of the worst dramas I've seen, in terms of the story progression towards the ending. The script is also terrible in the latter episodes. It was overhyped, and it did have a good start, but it was just not maintained.

I have to say though, the actors were great. The leads were amazing, including Nam Joo Hyuk. His role was just poorly written, but that wasn't his fault. Ji-pyeong and In-jae's character development also were not given justice. But again, those were not their fault.

This drama is a cinematic masterpiece. Its production is excellent. The story got me literally on the edge of my seat from the start to finish. I love the actors more and how they were barefaced-- with all the dust, dirt, blood, and all. At a time when everything is very uncertain and people are forced into isolation, Sweet Home tells the importance of collective living. It is hard, but it's one way to survive. Sometimes, you are even to put them above yourself for the safety of the majority. Overall, I love this drama so much. Looking forward for the second season!

It's a very refreshing watch, not your usual KDrama

I started Run On without expectations, but it ended up raising the bar so high for 2021 dramas, in my opinion.

The build-up and the pacing of the story were beautifully written. Every episode is enjoyable and there were no boring parts. I couldn't stress enough how much refreshing this drama is, especially the screenplay. It's not always that the characters of a drama talks, like have actual, mature conversations. The dialogue among characters were flawless-- they were realistic and it's not trying so hard to be witty. The writer(s) found the perfect balance on it making it relatable to the audience.

I also love the characters, all of them. As individual characters, I love how their growth and development weren't rushed and shows how progress is not linear. The lead couple was very cute, being shy and all. Some may find this a bit "off", but I think it's very crucial considering the dynamics of the two. Not only it reflects the character development of (primarily) the main lead, but also how the female lead also grew as a person. On the other hand, the second lead couple balances the "shy, teenager love" of the main couple. There could've been a little improvement on the second FL's character, but it's wonderful nonetheless.

When I finished watching this, I felt a pang in my chest because it's over. I am happy with how it ended, and how the story went. This drama will surely hold a special place in my heart. It taught me the importance of self-love and the different faces of it.
