Youth isn't always joyful

I usually barely write reviews, but this drama moved me so much I just had to express my thoughts here. This drama had a light typical romance in the beginning, and as the 1980 tragic events started occurring the drama became too sad. I cried so much and this drama showed a message that the tragic events of the Uprising must have scarred others just as painfully as Myeong Hee, and Hee Tae. The couple went through a lot together as the drama started getting into plot, and there were many traumatic events for what happened to the male lead, but a thing I liked about the male lead was that he was strong and was always there for others. His love for the female lead was undeniable, just as the female lead's love for his. So yes, the drama doesn't have the joyful satisfactory ending, but it was realistic and would be as what was expected in the Uprising in 1980. I cried a lot during this drama, and my mondays and tuesdays will feel empty now. So if you are considering a drama about hardships, youth, and love this may be one you should start considering.

One of my all time favorite Korean dramas. I have re-watched this at least 5 times and have never been disappointed, it sits at my second favorite of all the dramas I have watched. This drama displays a very unique and worth praising story line and obstacles that are given to the leads in the drama. The female lead was always so insecure of herself, and went through a lot of harassment since she was younger. The only logical reason she thought she had left was to change herself by undergoing through a surgery. At first she was very satisfied with it and started fitting in, but as someone from the past she once knew and had feelings for had come to her university, her life was going to change. This is because he knows her secret from the past for what she once looked like. He is very popular in the school for his looks and is a cold male lead indeed. But he does not have interests for anything and comes to only care about the female lead from their chemistry. Much more challenges happen throughout the drama, when you go deep into the story, but this drama was definitely a cherished drama by its many viewers. Many surprises will happen throughout the story, and many obligations and objections will go throughout their relationship/love for each other. Once your very deep into the drama, the end will come with dark turns and complications. So have fun watching/binge watching. This drama is definitely worth it.

This drama is definitely one of my all time favorites of the many dramas I have watched and I strongly recommend you to watch this if you haven't yet. I really enjoyed this story because they have such a long history together without the female lead even realizing it. The female lead went through many tragic things making her a cold female lead, and the male lead is someone who ends up being one of her strongest supports in her life. I love how long the male lead has had feelings for her, and has done many things for her without her knowing. It's very amazing how their love was made in some time with her realizing that she ended up liking him too. He was so warm to her and that touched her heart. Although she went through many hardships in her family and were too hard to handle at times, he was always there for her and stood by her side. But besides the main couple, I really liked the male leads sisters love history with the guy she likes in her school. It is literally my favorite support role relationship ever. I was so fascinated with everything, and everything about the story was so amazing and unique. It's not like other dramas where the female lead has something with the male leads family, backstabbing from her closest friends, or family problems in general. It was all a mix, it was mainly the female lead who went through many difficulties. She suffered a ton throughout her life, that the warm male lead was all she needed to regain her happiness she once had when she was very young. If I continue any further, I will spoil the whole drama lmao. But overall, this is my favorite Korean drama of all time. Everything was just perfect and how everything was planned out was just brilliant. I hope that there will be continuation to this or even a sequel. I may have spoiled a lot, but this is definitely worth praising and binge watching.

This drama was quite fun to watch it has much humor and challenges through their relationship like any other drama, but I wasn't fond of how it wasn't much related to the originals 1 & 2. It's a completely different story-line and you might not even need to watch the first 2 before watching this one. Demon Master is just like a sequel and an extra pleasureful drama to watch if you liked the first 2 very much. Although its a sequel, it made me smile from its humor so if you life some comedy in romance dramas then this will be very fun to watch. Also, there was also many challenges brought to the couple and that made them go through a lot. Most of the enemies were targeted toward the female lead and made her have a rough time but the male lead was confident in protecting her it would definitely make you feel touched by their amazing acting and love for one another. There were also other relationships that were formed from the support roles that were quite fun and worth shipping, I was very pleasured by them as well. Overall, this drama was quite unique, and had also the support roles have a happy ending, ending the drama on a good note.
