My expectations were too high.
I get why everyone is obsessed with this show, I really do… it just wasn’t for me. There’s nothing wrong with it; it’s adorable and the characters are funny and the songs are catchy, I was just so bored the entire time. I almost dropped it twice but I didn’t and I kept watching, but overall I was really underwhelmed.I don’t know if it has to do with the fact I watched Moonlight Chicken first and fell in love with HeartLiMing, but I could just not get as invested with msp. I’m more disappointed than anything that I didn’t love it.
But Fourth slayed as always and I really liked Sound and Win, they were the highlight for me and I needed more of them.

Everyone (including myself) Simps Over Nanon, The Series
I haven’t laughed like that in a long time. Such a fun and hilarious series! So many colourful sets; it was a joy to look at.I am a Nanon fan girl first, a human being second. That man could be in anything and I’d still watch it. Film is so underrated! I really hope she starts getting more recognition, she was great in this. Their characters were so cute together! The chemistry… mwah😍. The side characters were equally as funny and I adored them.
The plot is nothing unique and maybe could have had more interesting twists but it holds up well and the pay off is worth it.
Highly recommend this series for a good time, charismatic characters and lots of laughs.

WOULD IT KILL YOU BOTH TO COMMUNICATE JUST ONCE?
No.This was not good. At all. How anyone can get behind this is unimaginable to me. Kuea and Lian had no chemistry and just lied to each other the whole time. Chuck a couple of NC scenes in there and you think I’ll forget about it? No.
The plot was even more of mess and the characters were unlikable. Never once did I feel like they “fell in love.” Literally just 12 episodes of pure lies and conflicts that weren’t resolved by the end. Communication does not exist in the Cutie Pie universe!
Yi and Diao were cute but they need to learn to communicate too. They at least showed some feelings for each other.
The only thing stopping this from being a total train wreck was the third couple: Syn and Nuer. I loved them so much! But even so, they hardly got any screen time and were not given the opportunity to shine like the healthy and cute couple that they were! The soundtrack also slapped, I’ll give it that.
But I literally lost my sanity watching this series. I don’t recommend it at all. Someone get BounPrem out of there, they don’t deserve this.

Such an improvement over S1
I hated Cutie Pie S1. The only part I liked was NuerSyn, and they’re the reason I decided to watch S2 as I wanted to see more of them. I’m happy to say I really enjoyed all 4 episodes. Don’t get me wrong, this show isn’t “good”, it’s unrealistic and the story is not great but it was sweet and adorable and just a fun time in terms of entertainment value. I still don’t buy into Lian and Kuea’s relationship and see it as really fake and unromantic. However, this time they didn’t lie to each other constantly and the problems I had with their relationship in S1 weren’t anywhere to be seen. I like Hia Lian so much more in this. Supportive king. Also, the side couples still didn’t get enough screen time and I really wanted more development for them. Especially YiDiao, who felt like their characters were pushed aside and only served as helpers for LianKuea. And more TutorYim please! I’m very excited for their future projects :)

PrapaiSky are the standard!
PayuRain: 3/5They were nothing special to me. They were enjoyable and cute but I wasn’t avidly interested. It took me till episode 5 to be invested in their story; I really enjoyed them once they were together but i thought the journey to get there wasn't anything special or very entertaining. I think they got together a bit too quickly and needed more emotional intimacy, especially since Payu was a bit manipulative of the situation and in getting Rain to peruse him.
PrapaiSky: 5/5
They really carried this series for me! They're in my top 3 favourite couples of all time, I could literally talk about them forever! They fill my heart with so many emotions i can't even describe it.
So many scenes were all time favourites for me, I couldn’t pick just one… “I want to see your lovely smile…”, the notebook scene, Sky ringing Pai after he has a nightmare, “P’Pai… can I really love you?” UGH THEY WERE ALL JUST SO GOOD!
Sky is so relatable… I want my own Prapai… I cried so many times… I wish we could've had a million episodes with them. I have already rewatched their section of the series 3 times <3
Series overall: 4/5
It was a perfect balance of fluff and angst. For newbies the actors are fantastic (especially Fort, he is a beautiful crier, and Peat portrayed Sky’s trauma and emotions so well) And finally I really like the atmosphere of the soundtrack.

A series with a little bit of something for everyone.
This was absolutely beautiful. Words cannot describe how this series makes me feel. The realism, the characters, the music: everything was just done so perfectly. No character is perfect, but they all learn and grow together.Every single character had their own traits that made them interesting and engaging. JimWen’s quiet and mundane relationship was so poetic yet messy, and I’m a sucker for their type of relationship (I’m also a massive sucker for EarthMix, they’re my favourite pairing). It was so refreshing to see such a mature storyline. HeartLiMing were adorable and stole my heart. Li Ming made me feel so seen, I relate to him so much. AlanGaipa had me kicking and squealing!
I can understand someone not enjoying this show due the lack of plot and flawed characters… It is a show that is definitely aimed towards more mature viewers, which can make JimWen’s story off putting for younger people but it was absolutely perfect to me and I highly recommend!

Worth the hype!!
Where do I even begin with this series!? It blew my socks off!The chemistry between Ohm and Nanon is insane and their characters were two I was heavily invested in. I was kicking and squealing every 5 minutes they were so cute! And omg, that episode 5 rooftop kiss. I don’t think any other will ever beat that, the standard is too high now.
The way they tricked us with the last episode, really played with my emotions. I’m not a fan of the breakup then get back together trope so i was slightly disappointed, but then they switched its on its head and played us all. I ended up really liking the last episode because of that and whilst it may not be the ending I wanted, it was still satisfying.
I don’t have really any complaints. I would only say that Wai needed to face more consequences for his actions. Other than that, it was perfect.

A hidden gem.
I am so in love with this series. What an emotional rollercoaster ride. I wasn’t expecting to be so invested in this, I literally cannot stop thinking about it.Everything to the plot to the characters and their backstories is so heartbreaking and emotional. In any other situation, I would’ve hated Ritsu, and all the characters have their flaws but the context and purpose of the show really makes you see them in a different way. The message this show presents is one of deep meaning, and it really tore me apart. I am also such a sucker for found family, and this one was one of the cutest I’ve ever seen.
I cannot recommend this enough.

This is a Chopper Fan Account✋
I like this show for its characters and it’s plot; especially Chopper. The plot was interesting and engaging and watching Nueng’s development as he opens up and lives on the island was so emotional. Palm is a simp and I love him for it.Ben never felt fully developed to me and kind of on the sidelines the whole time, and I think Chopper should’ve had a bigger ending to his character (possibly even dying); I think it would’ve made the show feel more realistic and given it more grandeur, but he is an angel and my favourite part of the entire show.
The first 4 episodes dragged and I almost dropped it but I did enjoy it once the plot got going. And then I wasn’t a big fan of the last two episodes; the editing felt weird in episode 11, and everything felt quite rushed. And episode 12: the conflict was resolved way too quickly and easily, only for there to be unnecessary conflict because Palm decides to run away… something Nueng had done two episodes before. I guess it just felt like plot points were repeating themselves just with different characters.
Anyway, I’m excited to see them again in Our Skyy 2!

An underrated masterpiece!
Daughters made me feel generally unwell but it was so addictive. I lost so much sleep due to this show, but it was worth it😫Everything these poor kids went through was so heartbreaking but real, and this show perfectly showed the harsh truth about teens and poverty without making it feel cringy or like it was trying too hard. It was an honest depiction of life and they ways people try to cope and the consequences of that. It eviscerated my heart in a way that makes me never want to rewatch it or feel the way it made me feel ever again.
Not everything was perfect however: I can’t tell if I was actually meant to route for the Louis and Frank relationships, they were just too fucking creepy for me. They were in adulthood and dating 16yos🤨 No! And I really couldn’t tell from the vibes of the show if Louis was supposed to presented as a predator or a genuine romantic partner, especially when he’s giving a 16yo drugs, but then the show depicts him as a romantic hero. I just didn’t get it and it felt so disgusting (maybe that was the point but like I said I really can’t tell). Pu x Ngoh best girlfriends 🙌
Also I think Yok needed to be utilised more, his character felt forgotten about in some places and he was really interesting. The balcony dance scene whilst being extremely sad, made me feel a certain feeling of serenity and calmness that feels inexplicable. It was my favourite scene in the show. I’m a massive Fluke fan and I think his acting abilities are fantastic.
Overall it maybe a tad bit too long, it did start to lose me towards the end. But by the end I was so burnt out and depressed I just wanted everyone to be happy and safe. The ending, whilst not a completely happy ending, did give me hope and left me satisfied. It really showed that not everything will always turn out okay, really driving home the message of the entire show.
I loved this show and I cannot recommend it enough!

I almost dropped this on episode 2, and whilst I am glad I didn’t, this show still felt like a chore to get through. It had great moments and then it get super boring, and then get interesting again and then I’d loose interest and so on. That is mainly due to the frustrating nature of its characters and plot. I really liked Third in the beginning; he was a character I deeply empathised with and saw myself in. But that was also one of the reasons I almost dropped this, seeing him love someone as prickish as Khai didn’t sit right with me and was a real turn off. As the show continued, Third became less interesting for me, but Gun’s performance was fantastic and I really felt for him in the final couple of episodes.
Khai… I really hated him in the beginning. He was the main reason I wanted to drop this. But by the end, I really liked his development. Yes he’s not perfect and a real jerk, but I appreciate that he was really trying to be better for Third.
Two was my favourite character, I adored him! I really wish we could’ve had more development for his and Un’s relationship. They were the biggest surprise from this show for me and I really liked them.
The rest were fine, but I had no interest in Bone or his storyline. I ended up skipping the majority of it.
Something I really loved about this show was the comedy. It wasn’t cringy and I generally laughed many times. It was refreshing to watch a BL where the comedy was actually funny.
A complaint I have is that I really hated the way women were presented in this show. It was awful and once again another reason I almost dropped this.
Overall, I enjoyed this show for its majority but it definitely has its faults.

I only watched for Earth Katsamonnat.
I actually really liked this during the first half. Ae and Pete were two characters I liked and got invested in their story. I happily shipped them and had no queries with their relationship. But as the episodes went on and they became less of the focus, I just stopped caring. Almost all of the side characters were annoying af and I did not get invested in their relationships at all. There was just too many side couples who had little to zero development and lacked any likability.
I ended up skipping the majority of Tin and Can’s scenes as I just did not care at all and by the end I was so glad it was over. I was so disappointed as I really enjoyed AePete, but the rest of it ruined it for me. And then the ending happened, and they weren’t even together in the final scene. It all just felt like a waste of time.
I wouldn’t bother with this one if you’re thinking about watching it, there are so many better shows you can spend your time on.

My safe space <3
A poorly written plot saved by an amazing cast with great chemistry and excellent characters and development. Had this show discarded the whole curse story line and instead focused solely on how high school life, pressures and anxieties effects people mentally, it could've been god tier. The plot was just not as fully developed or interesting as the romance and it really lets the whole show down, especially in the first couple of episodes and the last two.But the romance, now that is god tier! AkkAyan are so beautiful, I cannot even describe how they make me feel. Watching them week by week, I can tell you it is one of the most genuine falls in love I’ve ever seen. Their chemistry... their development... the way they saved each other. They literally healed something inside of me and I just love them so much.
Other good aspects of this show was the mental health representation ✅ It really made me feel seen, whether that be through Akk's struggles, or Ayan's anxieties. This show really felt like a safe space for me and provided comfort at the end of a tiring long week.I also really liked the character of Wat. He was really interesting and engaging to me.
Final thing for me to say is that they forgave Thua way too easily and I will never like him :)

VegasPete >>>>
This was my first ever Thai BL, and what an introduction it was. My standards were literally so high after I finished this. I was stuck in a hyper fixation for months.Whilst the writing of this show may not be top tier, the cast and actors really make up for it. The whole casts' chemistry is really felt through the screen and you can tell everyone deeply cares about what they're producing.
A stand out performance was 100% Bible, the man blew my socks off. And of course, Pete. My favourite character :) VegasPete you will always be famous to me, their story and development literally sent me into a downward spiral, I love them so much. The poolside scene, omg. Thank you for being my bedtime fanfic couple for the past few months. They are one of my fave couples of all time, even after having watched many other god tier BL shows, they hold strong for me.
KinnPorsche... whilst not a real stand out for me, I liked their dynamic and adored them when they were being sweet and caring. Porsche was definitely one of my favourite characters, I just didn't like Kinn or his decisions as much as I loved Porsche. Also, the "OMG WE'RE COUSINS?!" scare was totally unnecessary. Not needed at all.
KimChay. Yeah I ship Porchay with happiness and therapy and Kim with therapy.
Tankhun slayed. Literal icon. Same with Tae; he deserves so much better.
This series will also have a special place in my heart as my first series and its one I revisit often.

Not really worth your time.
My favourite part of this was the music, it slapped so hard. Unfortunately, the rest of the series didn’t reach the vibe of the music. There were so many plot holes in this, and the story wasn’t fully fleshed out to make it feel satisfying by the end. I got very bored in a lot of places, and only really kept watching for the cast.
I love Jan and Louis, and the little Neo cameo was such a lovely surprise. I also really liked the concept, but I think this series needed more episodes to allow time for more depth and interesting plot points.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this to people.
