Good Romance with a hint of murder

An enjoyable show. I found the celebrities playing these roles to be more than capable in this drama, no shortage of good acting. I have to say that the two leads are so cute (in a toothache but not sickening kind of way) and cheeky. Good possession TV series, with a budding romance and hint of who dunit murder.

The second female lead trying to get laid was tiring for me just cause it caused me second hand embarrassment. Her character grew a little too slowly for me, but she grew. The recurring cast were a funny bunch they definitely help me enjoy the show. The (kitchen) office politics are funny with the Sous Chef who irritates his staff because he's too excessive in everything including complaints and neediness.

Cute Cherry's

I greatly enjoyed watching. And I feel I have an appreciation for how the two gifted characters think and react internally when hearing someone elses thoughts. I have to say the lead charachter and secondary minor leads reaction to being overwhelmed perplexed me (when they hear something through the gift or have a moment of excitement or perhaps initimate). I think I just felt their responses or emotions while real their method of reaction was too much. occasionally, I could feel myself starting to cringe but thats with any movie or show with unneccessary and continual overreactions.

I think while good I will give a rating of 8 as it had some depth, but if it had a little more and creativity with the relationships, there problems and with relationship building beyond the generic I would give a better score. Definitwly worth a watch. No time is wasted enjoying this sweet dish of a show.

Surprisingly enjoyable

I enjoyed the writers view of this story. I felt they wrote a strong unique view of reincarnation after a tramatic event. And the production did a great job to bring the effort forward. I enjoyed most of the acting. And I love the development of the relationship.

I think my biggest challenge was the way the writer(s) and director wrote Pharm (Intouches soul in Pharms body). I was taken back that he cried so often ( every episode) and over so much. I'm not in their shoes and definitely am not judging. I just think that subtracted from the show for me. I realize the soul was speaking and that something entirely it's own, but it just didn't sit well.

I felt that if you remember your past life and it was bad; you do everything possible to enjoy the new life. Accept your failures, realize your strengths and grow/mature as a person. But most importantly know the past look at it even if it hurts and learn and rise above it. After all, it's your past. You have to move forward and best you can!

Good, but hard to watch

Abyss is a Romatic comedy with an edge of mystery and thriller (shoved in). I feel the writers seem to have forgotten just in some cases that they were writing a mystery/thriller also. And due to that lack of perspective they cause a dilemma within the story. While I feel the actors did a good job with the material they had, I have no doubt that had focus been on the thriller part as well this could have been a stellar show they'll year it came out. But I will say it made me laugh, I felt some parts of it were honest (murders are messy, unkind people) and it made me annoyed (not catching criminal due to foolish mistakes). Also, the police officers never have on police clothes, and they hold there guns wrong. To the production team and director detail matter. The drinking and dancing in episode 15 was so good. It actually gave me joy.

Protrayed adults who rarely exhibit melodrama, so much as honest reactions to faults

This was a drama with romanace in the mixed. I appreciated all 4 of the main characters and how they protrayed genuine behaviors of people without too much melodrama. Hai Qing is an adult who doesn’t seem to express his feeling or thoughts well (he would have exasperated me). He is headstrong and indecisive. He also just comes off crude to me occasionally when dealing with good friends. I hope he'll grow to be better. Yan Fei was handsome, well off and should know better than to date two people at one time. He seems put together amd he is for the most but we all have our hang ups. What he let occur while he was with Jimmy was messy. With Jimmy, I've never been in his situation so I didn’t understand why he could not let go of Yan Fei. But it took me a few episodes to see that he alone is not the villain. But also he's not a villian at all, but more lost and doesnt want to let go of what is familiar and safe. I believe he had dreams for a future with Yan Fei and I don't fault him for that. Ping Jun, I sorta get him. Taking care of people is somwthing he has done all his life, it made him patient and kind. So I get how he gravitated to Hai Qing. I feel like it's hard to see our self-worth outside of our wants. And that we put up with things we should not. This drama was well acted and portrayed. Not a picture perfect romance for anyone. Merely a reality of harsher truths. The message I took away is "love yourself enough to be honest about what you want and from who and respect your partner enough to be truthful if you need to break-up or change how the relationship is functioning." Sometimes life is not about what we derseve so much as what we allow.

Mature script for the most part, cute cast, solid acting

Mature script for the most part, cute cast, solid acting. This is one of the more mature BL's I have seen. And I greatly appreciated it. It had a small bit of silliness and just sophisticated acting. Cute couple. I appreciate not having to deal with the usual Shenanigans.

The story is typical with the rich guy/ poor guy romance drama, who work in the same office and someomhow see each other all the time. I'm ready for a new Troup. I am pleased that I watched this tough. The actors did well. Shows of affection were very soft and I still liked it. That's saying something.
