Very enjoyable, reversal of the drama norms, great to see a strong woman lead, and the pretty, weaker male, but she loves him regardless, he too at first refused his arranged marriage to her, but slowly fell in love with her and became her strongest supporter, really nice to see. Can't say enough about Sandra Ma's and Sheng Yilun's acting, really good, also fell in love with his voice, both opening and ending songs of each episode worth listening to, but I just love his ending song, Loyalty, throwback song, but such an easy to listen to, soothing voice.
Just watched My Beautiful Tomboy on Netflix and was intrigued by 'Mean' so picked Homestay as the next drama to watch her in, and am so glad I did! What a funny, real drama, all four mains and the kids are so great, great acting all around, and the outtakes at the end of each episode are 'delicious', they really put a huge smile on my face. All in all, to anyone hesitating to watch this drama, don't, you will be pleasantly surprised and just keep hitting next, to see what will happen. Thanks to the cast, crew , PD and writer, great job.
Saw this on netflix last week, have to say I really enjoyed it, kept hitting next.....it was easy to understand Meen's confusion, all in all it's a good watch. First time seeing the female lead, she's is a very real, seemingly down to earth actress, will certainly watch everything she's in. I also think the male lead is a very good actor, have seen him in quite a few dramas as well as the second female lead. All in all, I think it was done well and ended nicely, didn't feel rushed at the ending.
