ugh drunken shenanigan's ◑﹏◐ thank frack i aint a drinker and have never had to go through what Reb did lol. but considering the last few ep's, this was on a lighter note and much appreciated. cause another "heavy" ep and i would have to take a break and kinda enjoying this binge watch - this really good and loving how slowly but surely both guys r opening up towards each other. ******************************************************************************************************************yeah had a ton of reservation about JM's ability to open up genuinely - considering he was nursing a broken heart. but safe to say, he is indeed opening up towards Reb. like their chemistry and love even more that JM isn't as guarded or mean
from one low to the next and ironically this was a great ep - emotionally draining and VERY sad. but death will do that too u - and the isolation, this pandemic and all the craziness it brought down on our heads - even though it isn't behind us now in 2022, it was so much worse at the start and this drama for sure takes u back to dire times... great writing - very heartfelt and true to life. good acting too, Reb was brining it - he for sure is a favorite. as much as i get JM, i like Reb better, cause even though he also has it hard, he still sweet and optimistic - or rather even though he sad, he choses to keep it to himself while putting on a smile for the world, cause he doesn't see the need to make other people miserable, cause that's what he's feeling - and i love these type of people. ***************************************************************************************************** JM on the other hand is miserable and he wants the world to suffer right along side with him, which i get and yet don't like - cause everyone has their own sh*t to deal with, just cause u going through stuff doesn't mean u have the right to take it out on others. maybe cause of that, as much as i feel for him and know he is suffering and vulnerable, even scared to open up. i don't like him much, cause at the first sign of getting hurt he will retreat and hurt Reb - who sadly is all heart and too trusting and hopeful about everything and everyone. so i worry about how he will / is opening his heart ready to go all in on/with JM, while JM might be interested, but he also scared and that won't bode-well in the long run.. or so i fear. *********************************so as much as i love seeing how Reb is getting under JM's skin and pushing him to open up little by little, i worry cause at the same time Reb is also warming towards JM and i know there will come a time, where JM will realize his heart is once again exposed, if he runs scared Reb will be left "bloody and beaten"...
wow what an emotionally packed ep - JM finally spills all - well where he is at emotionally - which is basically a wreck, and also confirms all the conclusion's i came too in the 1st ep. he hurt and hurting and doesn't want anything remotely 'ship' based, but he still wants human interaction, in the form of sex without strings and that's why he hooked up with Reb. **********************Reb sorry to say was at the wrong place - u can be "naked" anywhere online - cause u can hide ur identity and revel what u want / chose too - what u try to hide in ur day to day life - so him trying to be genuine, while looking to find real connection, even love on a site that's basically for hook-ups - don't get it, and yet people can and do find actual connections even in those type of sites, depends on the people and luck. so even though i'm still very worried about how one or the other might hurt or get hurt - i'm also liking how this is developing - very sweet and wholesome
enjoyed this ep - was very trepidatious in the 1st ep, cause of Dranreb /@trueloveskiss - he too sweet and naïve, yeah he all bitchy and not afraid to buttheads with John /@alt.media. but it so comes off as a front, as u know (after the panic attack in the 1st ep) that he isn't that confident in himself and not only cause he a virgin. but add to that, his innocent, open and caring personality. who is just waiting for the "right" guy to come along, and we all know how easy it is to fall for an injured soul while ur forced to cohabitate - that closeness can make anyone fall hard, and delude yourself that "he is the one" and then u either think u can save or help him, and that just recipe for heartache. especially when he Not looking to be saved or for love. *********so was very worried about Dranreb , cause he a sweetheart that doesn't deserve to get his heartbroken, cause John an injured soul that isn't over his ex (ノへ ̄、) *************************************************************************************************but Dranreb feisty and full of spunk - and it's fun to watch him give as good as he get's or not take it quietly - not always. even though John is bordering on mean, most of the time and not in a cute way. get he is frustrated and angry at life, cause of reasons... and it all to easy to take it out on someone who is vulnerable and also dependent on him for the next 2 weeks. but it's annoying to watch - cause he being a bully and i want to slap him. he angry at his ex go search her out - don't hurt an innocent bystander that isn't a fault (ノ*ФωФ)ノ
found this cause of a reactor on YT i watch, and as have yet to check this BL out, watching this with her - kinda... (⓿_⓿) ******finishing the 1st ep have to say, this was jaded or maybe it would be more accurate to say @alt.media is jaded as frack. i kinda get there r people that cause of reasons... r just looking for hook-ups, where they don't have to get emotionally involved and yet that minimal human interaction is enough to get what they need. whether it be a human body/warmth or a slimily of love - it's sad and yet kind understandable. as think everyone has at one point or another felt this way - even if they haven't acted on it. *************************************************************************************************************************************maybe cause of that @alt.media had no problem, not only to catch on @trueloveskiss was a virgin and put a stop to things - think cause he was more aware, how emotionally attached someone like @trueloveskiss could get, given his lack of experience. so he rather suffer "blue balls" then someone misguidedly developing feelings. *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************@trueloveskiss is the one i was shocked at - i get given the pandemic and forced isolation he was going stir crazy, n needed or thought he was ready for any kind of human interaction, as long as he wouldn't be alone. and @alt.media cold almost devoid of warmth - approach scared him "straight", enough to make him wake up from the delusion as to what he was getting himself into. so little wonder we get what we got - it was a bit too realistic and jaded.... ****************************************************idk what i want to happen between these 2 polar opposites, if anything i'm really worried, cause even though they nothing alike , both seem very vulnerable just in different ways and can anything long lasting come off this? or this just a recipe for disaster? >︿<
well 9 ended with a bang or 10 started with one, idk (⓿_⓿) didn't get from where / why Calix was having a break-down. not that he didn't have ample reason (with that family) but he was talking about someone else - hint hint hint... last ep so time to revel all, or finally get some type of plot in order. so this will justify the BL tag - no?!? (ง •_•)ง ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Xymon Montenegro!!!?!? (¬‿¬)huh?? danger? so Luke's rich cause his dads a mobster?!? WTAF >︿<the rest of this is just whacky and over acted - i don't wanna be mean but can't help it - this had promise and if the focus was on this weird angle where Luck's rich dad thought Calix was unworthy cause of his poverty, not only his gender - it's understandable. but then why the rest of this weird convoluted story that didn't take us anywhere near this revel - all dumped on us in this in last ep, really?!? suddenly Joey milking Luke for money and if that not enough now everyone having a break-down and crying and i'm supposed to be moved or care - cause i don't. as there was no building up to this point - there was nothing Aish (ノへ ̄、) ********************************************************************************************************************************************************btw why a rich kid hanging around the slums??? and now the 'cat is out of the bag' there no longer a threat to Calix's life(?) if Luke with him, that he keeps confessing his love and saying sorry - to what end?!? this needs backstory, a plot that start at a vague point and builds so the revel, will make sense and seem logical, not whatever this is we r getting and now Joey the "bad-guy" heck going by her "he's mine Luke and he's not ur's!" (basically the freakin title of this drama) makes her the MC - what?!!!! this seriously gone off the deep end - *************************************************************************************poor Calix, got betrayed by everyone and he is justified in his wrath towards (hell everyone) Luke, who has a mouth and could've told him he was worried about his father. and even if he was too young to know better then, he older now - and now he caught, instead of explaining, he guilt-tripping him? the only thing i can say thank god this the end cause if it wasn't i would've dropped this (>_<。) the rest was idk how even to describe it other then b.s drama, where a mute kid says one word cause dramatic moment needed ugh - and of course Juanmig death is need so everyone get's reminded "life is short and u should forgive and forget so u can live happily ever after" crap - this crap and cliché and over, so enough said - never gonna rewatch this <(_ _)>
suddenly Juanmig dropping a ton of hints he not long for this world - which WTF (⓿_⓿) as already mentioned, he the picture of health and his family for sure not treating him like he wasting away (and the halfassed "u gotta believe in god" plz made me roll my eyes same with the add"u gotta stay away from Cai, he's not good for u" - like what?!???. this needs build-up not just one ep from the end, act like this was something woven through the plot and everyone watching just happened to miss it ugh). donno about others, but if i had a dear family member that i cared about and they were dying. i would be obsessing's, scared out of my mind about them, always around them making sure they were ok/alive/not hurting. here for someone who doesn't have long, he living a pretty normal life - where no one was treating him with kid gloves. and the convo with Cairo was made weirder when he questioned him, "why he's nice to him" - huh now ur wondering? from the start it didn't matter? why wake up now? same with his sudden confession of love(;´д`)this convo as weird as Luke coming to make peace with Calix, talking about "happy families" after seeing that scene go down between the brothers?!? *************************************************yeah having money doesn't automatically mean ur happy, have everything or can buy everything for that matter - but the comparison is moronic! considering the family Calix got - they nothing to be happy about, cause that family doesn't equate to "happy, loving, caring home" but obligation! where they milking Calix like some cash-cow and he is worth only what he can do to fund them. they don't even care what he does or how he does it, as long as they get cold hard cash. even if he ends up in jail that's whatever - even that little sister doesn't really care. if she did, she wouldn't tell her older brother or mother where he was. so more b.s preaching about the worth and importance of family, when they toxic as frack and u need to cut them off, like an infected limb ̄へ ̄ aish this plot is doing my head in ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************and i don't get why they girls got their panties in a twist, both Joey and Jane acting like biatches and kinda getting tired of seeing females being turned into mean shrews that can only be mean and argumentative. yeah Joey being hostile towards Luke not anything new. but u already got Luke's crazy ex that's followed his ass all the way with that weird "side kick, she treating like her verbal punching-bag. Jane was always bitchy but now she being extra and the rest r just bland, they add nothing to the plot. only plus 1 last ep and "the end" o(≧口≦)o
took a break from this and have to say, trying to watch this after watching other BL's - makes it too apparent how bad this is (not trying to be mean) but the acting is so so, and the plot is all over the place !!! if it was focused (without all this branching out) maybe it would've been less of a mess - but it is what it is... bottom line 7 mins in and nothing of importance has happened (that will further the plot, heck from the start of this i really doubt there was a plan, other then just putting a bunch of actors together). if anything infuriated cause that annoying "older brother" has come waltzing in with his disgusting gf ( ˘︹˘ ) to muddy the waters, kill me if i get why Calix like a moron is supporting those able-bodied people in his family. other then the younger sister (who should be his mothers responsibility) he really doesn't owe them a thing. HE for sure doesn't owe his older brother money. this just infuriating to watch, plus what type of woman would want to hang with a gross man like him - he leaching off his younger bro for god sakes ugh!. *************************************************************************************from the start of this Calix and his friends r sleeping on the freakin beach and his brother put's a room under Calix's name?!?and still asks for money for food??? and Calix like a moron gives him more, instead of telling him to F@#% Off?!? why not?!! so that scene where he's crying telling his brother how much he's doing for the family cause he loves them pssh - explaining he isn't branching out or seeking independence was moronic and he asked to be cursed out and pushed down by his brother. he grew-up with his family and still doesn't get that they leaches that will suck him dry and then toss his aside? or he deluded into think (again i donno why) they appreciate him, care and will be supportive of him ever?!? plz *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************and there zero romance, hint of love other then Calix always falling onto/over/at Luke or vice versa and freezing - as if that amounts to anything, but just being weird ผ(•̀_•́ผ) ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************if all this wasn't plot-holey enough, now we got Juanmig who is the picture of health (he for sure hasn't been acting or looking like a fragile flower from the start of this) suddenly according to his childhood bff Sheena (ノ*ФωФ)ノ(who hasn't seen him in yrs \(〇_o)/is suffering from headaches?!? huh?!??? *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************like i started off this comment, this ALL over the place - it's just random! why we need all pointless campfire scenes? the plot if going according to the eye's of some character's is much more interesting, then what we actually get (and i could care less if there make out scenes of kissing etc....) but there should be some kind of plot that indicates there is actually a plot and not just idk what to say ◑﹏◐
Kota's "berserk mode" heck that whole scene was a joke, a bad one at that. i guess can blame the directors for trying to turn this character into a clone of Sota from Kieta Hatsukoi - where he is quirky, sweet and supposedly soft. but that isn't this character! ****************************************************************************************************************************know that was a huge success, but Kota's isn't anything like Sota. having read the manga this annoying (#°Д°) as is his over acting is getting annoying to watch as (again) it isn't his personality - if anything he's darker, cause of his bad-luck and the need to hide it from the world (so he doesn't come off with a Martyr complex, constantly seeking sympathy). he has a good, sweet side he shows the world and a darker, infuriated side he keeps at bay, and the "blow-up" should've been him finally removing the mask, going ape-shit on those two guys and leaving them bloody and begging. but what we got was sad and embarrassing - and No I DON'T WANT BLOOD. *****************************************************************************************************but i want this to follow the manga, i don't want Kota to go the usual banal route of all the Uke's cause he isn't the usually damsel in distress, so this falling short \(〇_o)/ ah whatever i'm the odd one out...
going in didn't have high expectation's considering all the negative comments, the plot is random and it seriously feels there huge chunks that r happening behind the scenes, that everyone in production forgot to clue the viewer's in on - there little clues that sometimes drop and u get something u were left confused about from other ep's and so on.. but on a whole this so random, really don't get why anyone would put their life on hold - once bitten, twice shy - isn't that the saying? heck it's common sense even if it wasn't a saying. ********************************************************************************************then after getting hurt by his ex and now not willing to give him half a chance - even if that chance means fulfilling his dreams (according to the freakin description) WHY has Bada put him life on hold? for someone he knew for a sec??? someone who didn't think twice before disappearing on him, without a word - this love - still??? this worth nothing following ur dreams? WHY? ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************who in this world is this gullible and stupid - this the second time i'm seeing a BL ending with this IDIOTIC theme were one character just goes off to pursue their dreams and comes back when it's convenient, not caring that they have basically put someone they supposedly love, on hold - who does that? who allows that? so personally i really couldn't watch that crap at the end, when that moron came back asking for 'extra spicy udon' with sad face. if that was me i would shove chilies where the sun don't shine - heck i would marinate the whole freakin area - plz with this stupidity passed off as love/romance
would say confused, but that a running theme in this BL - it's just random things slapped together, the prize went from job to money and then suddenly he got a whole restaurant? Bada wanted his own place where he's boss and he makes udon near the beach. but suddenly he got a new dream of a French restaurant owned by his ex?? and i get sometimes when u aint got a lot of money, so u can make a side room into not only ur office but also ur bedroom. but Bada wanted to put a curtain in the middle of that posh place, so he would have a bigger place for their bedroom in the restaurant itself WTF??? *******************************Tommy telling him i wanna make music and then up and disappears - didn't even phase me, as i really donno what the hell is going on - nothing really makes sense. ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note - saw Bum Jun (from Behind Cut) an ep back, and though he might have a part - but nope just an "Audience member" this has one more ep and considering how the plot has panned out up to this point, nothing gonna surprise me
so.... when did the contest prize change from a job offer in the new restaurant/hotel or whatever Bada's ex opened in that location, to a monetary prize??? ******************************************************************************************************oh well - at least Tommy is cute in his jealousy moments - they feel real. all his quirky moments feel like it's the actors personality coming through more then acting which isn't a bad thing as that makes this likeable
donno WTH was going on in this ep - 1st the ex acts like he wants to "take down" Bada going to that reporter, so he will have not other choice but to come back to him. and in this ep he done a 180, pestering the same reporter to change his article to a good and in rushes Tommy who might still be angry/hurt at Bada, but cares enough to keep tabs and brings the udon dish where he get it from?!? he not with Bada since the tantrum he threw, before disappearing on his ass. so??? **************************************************************************************************************************************************************but i also don't get the romance or the kiss if u will - everything feels rushed and without any build up, was the build up, him giving Tommy CRP?!? them sleeping together in the same bed? or the foot wash he got?? idk this plot just disjointed - so not astounding i'm sitting here really wondering what is worse the acting or the plot ************************************************* ****************************************************************************************************************************************but as Han Gi Chan has some experience, i guess need to blame the director that's a newbie?!?
there aint nothing like n bad-guy ex that's good-looking, he automatically becomes hotter - like forbidden fruit (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) so even before knowing dude in suite was Bada's ex, he looked slick and then became slicker he for sure was smoother then Tommy (know he isn't from the food industry) and maybe being a failed musician means he hasn't made money in a while. but read the room - forcing Bada to compete was the wrong move. what was the point there?!? to show the ex Bada's a great chef?!? he knows! that's why he wants Bada to work for him. the competition is just a way of clipping his wings and keeping him under his thumb. glad the usually introverted Bada could speak-up for himself and tell his ex to F-off. he didn't need Tommy to mess things up and then get butthurt like some kid and run off, like plz - why even get involved when it wasn't needed - no logic in that scene ****************************************************************************************************************************the rest is whatever - idk anyone who wouldn't lose it if their families heirloom was trashed and it's not something u can fix,100 yrs down the drain cause of one mistake. understandable - again Tommy at fault, why blow up? why not explain?? say "sorry" but nope we need "drama" meeh *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note - noticed in the comment section that Holland was attacked cause of his sexual orientation. donno him from Adam. to me what matters r his acting skills - the fact he's gay, straight etc... isn't and shouldn't be a factor! he for sure shouldn't be targeted cause of being gay. donno how that was resolved - hope got justice and people would just live and let live.but seeing this just goes to show WHY a lot of actor don't want to portray gay character's, and when they do, they r reserved in their acting, so it wont seem they "into" it - sad this still happening in 2022 in an educated country - sadly this no different in other supposedly accepting countries
am elated with this ep just cause Tommy called So Young out on her shady ways. already made me so overjoyed that i could look past the weird acting (Han Gi Chan's included, idk who he's trying to portray but he comes off like he on the spectrum and i doubt that is what he is going for, but whatever...) so was elated Tommy took care of the headache, that kept popping-up looking to see how else she can take advantage of the new push-over in town and that was getting infuriating to watch. ***********************************************************************************************************************************************everything was fine - but the foot-washing scene was so weird (1st off i hate touching other peoples feet, heck don't like people touching mine. but roll-up ur sleeves dude, that's just gross )...
