This episode was quite slow and the plot was just...not very interesting. Joke looks like he wants to kiss Zo all the time which is always fun to see. But I can't help but feel like the plot could have been a bit more engaging. Dunk and Joong's acting has improved and they both looks great. I don't like that the show keeps teasing Aou and Boom's couple but we've hardly seen them...I'm totally fine with being patient to see them, just not sure why they keep teasing us. I'm enjoying how into Zo Joke is and how mad he is that Zo is acting very straight and oblivious. Truly relatable queer behavior!
this episode was soooo cute! the aesthetics continue to deliver, aylin is a fascinating character, and everyone is just a joy to watch. i love this show!
this episode was great. i loved getting to meet Pok and Jeng and their little arc. the scenery was great and all the scenes were super sweet. i enjoy joongdunk's acting! and i like seeing them not fall into predictable tropes. the scene where joke serenaded zo was lovely and I LOVED seeing zo realize and accept his feelings for joke. beautiful!
There's something comforting about watching this show because there are no stakes and not a whole lot happens...until occasionally it does and it's out of left field. In general, I think the messages are nice but they're scattered for a lack of budget (?). Pepper and Kakong are both handsome and do an okay job. The execution of the show is just quite questionable sometimes.
bit of a let down! way too much happened and yet not much at all
This episode was....a lot! So for starters, the drama was a little too dramatic...only to be resolved in a half-baked way. Did I miss something - why didn't we see Patts actually explain himself to Tai? And why was Tien /that/ upset? I mean I don't know, it was fine I guess, but to me it undercut the measured tone of the previous episodes. I did very much enjoy the moment where Patts and Tai connected during the rain. It was a very romantic affirmation of their connection. That said...I still feel exactly what Tai verbalized: Patts and Tai don't know too much about each other and still have a ways to go to build intimacy. The chemistry between Patts and Nara was palpable from the first second they were on screen, while Tai is still a little awkward around him. I'm glad they're officially boyfriends now, that was very sweet. Now as for the ending.... ???? How are they going to resolve this! Lomfon hears BOTH of them?! I know they're not going to bless us with a poly relationship, so how on Earth would this possibly get resolved... I'm very worried about the future eps.
a sweet, sweet episode! wow!!! saengtai unfucked it in a very unexpected way... i'm a little disappointed that the way phat found out they're soulmates is because of a drunk confession rather than tai speaking to him while it's raining... but it was still very beautiful. i enjoyed that phat is aware that maybe that dinner wasn't the best choice of first date but he's like 'i'm just trying to find out what you like since you won't tell me'. i'm still wondering about those kissing sounds tai heard though! what was that.... also a bit confused about why phat didn't tell him about their first kiss. aside from that, tian testing to see whether holding anyone else's hand makes his heart beat fast was funny. the main cast are such good actors! i'm super impressed with the actors who play tai and tian in particular.
solid episode! i love that despite all of his cuteness, despite how soft-spoken and sweet he is, Rak isn't a pushover. he stood up for himself, broke up with Mek and cut Kram off..and stood his ground too. i'm quite worried about what Mek said to him at the end...but I hope P'Dino will swoop in and protect his boy hehe. Dino looks delightful in this episode, as did Rak really. they fit very well together. i'm a bit put off by how dino treats rak a little bit like a kid...he's a little /too/ pushy at times, but perhaps he'll learn better later on.
The opening scene unnecessary but I think maybe it connects to a different show? But the rest of the episode was pretty decent. The acting was fine, pretty great from Pepper. The chemistry was definitely there and even though so far I'm not sure I exactly understand Rak's character, I was surprised by some of the subtlety of the episode - I thought it'd be a lot more overstated, so this was pleasant to see. Good start, cute and nice. Pepper looked delightful! Edit: I gave the episode 7.5/10, not sure why it's showing 3/5.
