Good!!!
This was a good movie, i'm typically not a fan of the whole cheating/affairs trope however thats a personal preference and this was executed quite well! Overall, the movie had some amazing aspects however I felt like there were quite a few 'hole' within the storyline with somr things not mentioned or explained and sudden aspects that happen out of knowhere.The movie was very gritty and the characters show a lot of flaws, and is very slowburn. And aside from the above points its a very good adaptation!
However, one thing I really did not like was the ending. I understand how it ends but at the same time I don't. I'm a sucker for happy endings but this one was so ambiguous I have absolutely no idea where it would go. Why are there never any super happy endings in lgbt dramas lol.

very strange movie!
Honestly, this was a very strange movie - it is extremely hardcore and tackles some very sensitive material - very stockholm syndrome-y. However, the relationship displayed and how it develops was portrayed very well as well as showing the effect of losing people and how meaningful life is.The actors were also very good - to make a movie this explicit their acting was phenomenal - i know i couldn't do this.
However, this movie is very much rated R, so if you're not of legal age DO NOT WATCH - usually i would ignore ratings (not that i need to anymore lol i'm old :(( ) but this is one movie where i believe you really need to listen to it. -

It was okay!
I felt like the storyline within this drama was pretty good but left a bit to be desired. Especially with the ending. In general it was a compelling drama, with some very cringe worthy bits ( I had to pause and take a breath because second-hand embarassment lol) and a developing relationship. However, it did feel very hot and cold at some points and to be honest was very manipulative.The cast was very good and played their roles excellently and left nothing to be desired!!
However, to circle back to the ending - it was very disappointing as the build up of the relationship was very good and then 'bam' open ending - it really leaves a lot to be desired, and I know that there is a second series but to be frank I am skeptic about watching it. So I might come back to this series later.
