The queerbaiting made me a little mad
Ok, so, the story is really good and I liked the main actors, it's just... It became very clear to me that this story was supposed to be a BL. Throughout the whole show they hint at the romantic feelings Se-kyung has for Yiheon (aka Deuk-pal), to the point they even show how upset Se-kyung becomes when he sees a girl flirting with Yiheon AND THEY EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THEY´RE JUST FRIENDS??Ok, fine, I understand people could feel unconfortable with the fact that Yiheon's soul is 40 years old and Se-kyung is 18... BUT STILL COME ON we accepted Edward's 100yo ass dating a minor, but can´t deal with two legal adults?
IDK I'm still upset they didn't have any romantic interactions

SPICY BUT NOT GREAT AT ALL
So, I really like spicy BL dramas, and I liked the idea of a romance with a big age gap and mature content. To begin with, the music in this drama is SPECTACULAR. Like, that really surprised me, I wan´t them on my playlist asap. Now the story... It really builds in he "will they/won't they" atmosphere, but then when it happens is kinda boring? Like, they don't show anything, and the ending was also not good in my opinion. I don't think I will rewatch thisWas this review helpful to you?
