Not What I Expected
the main reason i even watched this drama was because watching the trailers I was fascinated, and the first few episodes ( 1-8) were going very smooth.
the build up of tension between the two leads was amazing, and then it seems that they had nothing to fill the last four episodes so they go on with “protecting” plot.
if you had the chance to kill the perpetrator than do it, however that’s not the case in this drama. there were multiple scenes where it could’ve happened but BS surrendered?!
the last episode was the cherry on the cake from me, it felt like they were rushing to wrap the drama up and had nothing left in the plot so they decided to stick in a completely unnecessary scene of Saeon going to an active war zone to get the Korean hostages, now mentioning “Palatima” and “Izmael” as the whole genocide against Palestine is occurring was not needed. Whether it was Palatima attacking Izmael or even the other way round a political belief of a director does not need to be shown in the show especially in the last ten minutes. thus showing the true intentions, it completely caught me off guard on how heejo even showed up to the supposed warzone like were the clothing directors thinking that this was some sort of fashion show, and it doesn’t even make sense how she even got there in the first place.
now onto the positives of this drama, the casting amazing loved watching Chae Soobin and Yoo Yeon Seok felt like a great pair and they both had amazing chemistry which allows for the story line to almost feel realistic.
my favourite thing was the ost of this show, it really bought a whole new level of characterism and light and display of emotions as the lyrics symbols a lot.
