ive only watched 10 episodes so….i haven’t watched alp i purely watched this because zhao lusi was in it but i don’t really like a yin and i was just waiting for her to become the phoenix again and i didn’t like gu jin either so i had no reason to continue

the cast is perfect
i’d say the story is pretty generic but the casting was done very well and everyone did well to tell the story so it’s really good. in my opinion i don’t see any romance in this show especially between the main 3 characters bc i think their love feels more familial.i think the ending is pretty good. it’s very sad but it’s doesn’t make it a bad ending. i like that they didn’t miraculously find a cure like how most dramas would. my interpretation of the ending is that llh was at the beach before the other two came but when they arrived he was gone (probably somewhere where he actually does die).
i think a season two isn’t necessary for this story. llh would’ve wanted it to end. however i would like the see the cast again.

had a great time watching
i think it was perfectly casted. it’s very nice and relaxing to watch when the other shows i was watching at the same time were hectic. the main couple have a very cute dynamic and the second lead couple also have cute relationship. i think it’s a very good show to watch if you want something light and cute and calm.Was this review helpful to you?
enjoyable
the romance aspect is pretty decent. i really like shen du. fl is quite annoying ik they want to make her independent but she can’t defend herself so he has to save her every time which ruined the whole point of making her independent and strong. the crime and mystery is very lack luster the autopsy are bland and not interesting. i hate that every case keeps relating to the fireflies sect so it’s never truly closed. the side characters are boring and her family is annoying. overall i enjoyed it but it’s definitely not that amazing or well written. the crime and mystery sucks but the romance between the main couple is cute.Was this review helpful to you?
