um.... it was ok
first of all, i hated how the female lead was acting like a 5 yr old at 16 ? and that is a problem i have with a lot of these romance cdramas where the fl is cringe and acting like a child. it got a bit better later on but i also hated the age gap ? ik that this is the trope and they got together when they were both old enough but it was so weird knowing they met when she looked 8 (when she was 14) and he was 19 like what. and then it felt weird that he started catching feelings and i also didnt care for the romance. the plot itself was lowkey a snoozefest as it drew into the latter half of the episodes like there was no need for like 30 episodes. all in all, kind of boring imo tropes just were not for me and didnt rlly like either of the main characters but give it a shot if you want ig?Was this review helpful to you?

hooking thriller that had me pulling all nighters DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
This show was incredibly good at making me unable to stop watching; leaving me with excitement and questions at the end of every episode.STORY
the plot was very full of so many surprises and events. some may think there were some useless ingredients like i've heard about his brain tumour and wonseok's fake gf but I enjoyed it nonetheless. This is such a captivating show and i had much fun watching it. However, parts of the plot lacked some logical explanation. I also wish the ending was more resolved as we dont see what happened to gi osung or really jaebum because the question is does jaebum really deserve to be punished for it when he has a mental disorder AND he was manipulated by gi osung (who is assumingly dead because, again, we dont know exactly what happened but he is probably dead as he isnt shown in the end) so should he really take the blame? i wish that was resolved as well as ji sooheon's brain tumour because while it is an open ending, i think if you are going to bring in something huge like a dangerous brain tumour and make us worry, you might as well at least indicate how it ends for him. because that whole thing is arguably not contributing to much of the plot anyway so why make us worry and the other characters worry too. we also didnt go into depth on how this brain tumour can really affect real life people as representation
CHARACTERS AND ACTING
I think jaebum's actor did very well at portraying his character's split personality disorder and each 'person' inside him. The rest of the cast did well too, though i dont think this script and writing unleashed any of their full potentials. The characters were all interesting and none annoyed me that werent supposed to. Ok chanmi and ji sooheon's chemistry was so perfect and i loved all their scenes together. despite not being a romance drama (and i am very mad we didnt even get a kiss) they're relationship made me giddier than many romance dramas i have watched and the main characters were mostly likeable. However, ok chanmi's character lacked logic at times, believing things way to quickly then acting on those thoughts such as when she heard gi osung telling jaebum that it was park wonseok who pushed him off the building and chanmi immediately believed it, sent out apology/goodbye videos and left even though gi osung was a very obviously untrustworthy character which annoyed me.
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this show because I personally love it and it was so incredibly gripping with a loveable main cast.

my comfort show forever>>>
this is one of my all time favourites and take what i say with a grain of salt because i am actually very attached to our beloved summer ? it is so emotional and is such a beautiful and realistic representation of a relationship. the story follows 2 students who are polar opposites. they're invited to do a documentary (number 1 student in school and last) and they both annoy each other a lot. later on, a romance buds, things happen and then its 10 yrs later (ik that was an awful synopsis sorry). i love this show with my whole heart and is the perfect slow burn. it isnt rushed and its so comforting, sad and satisfying and sweet all at once. it also, has one of the best confessions i've seen. if u enjoy mellow, slower kdramas with the best romance, some comedy and loveable, relatable characters YOU MUST GIVE IT A GO!!Was this review helpful to you?

i loved it but you may not
this kdrama has remained a comfort show of mine for a while and i love it with my whole heart. however if you have watched a lot of kdramas before, you probably wont find this that special and i agree that it can seem majorly overrated to some. the demographic for this show is definitely young people and teenagers so keep that in mind (not that older people cant enjoy this ofc)Firstly, the plot was not bad imo but kind of messy looking back on it. For example, I feel like the whole clinic thing with the ML's brother was too much and they could've presented her unrequited love in a much simpler and less time consuming way because it took up a large part of the plot, becoming an obstacle later. I wish they would've added more depth to the idea of them being athletes and have the plot be more focused on uni. But just because the story was objectively a bit 'bad' doesnt make it any less enjoyable for me on the whole apart from deducting points from rewatch value
Secondly, the romance was super sweet, cheesy and comforting hence having great rewatch value and being a comfort show of mine. Im sure it isnt for everyone but it is for me! so if that sounds like something you'd like, give it a go. also the ML was such a good character, i love him.
So do i recommend wfkbj? probably yes. But if you are older, have tons of kdramas under your belt or prefer a very well written plot, dont be surprised if you dont get the hype.

hated it
the second season was probably worse but lets talk about the first. the plot was forgettable with irritable and uninteresting characters (i didnt have an ounce of care for any of the MCs) and although i can see some kind of potential with the concept, it just ended up being messy. honestly, im not sure how i brought myself to finish this show. With such a cast and idea, i expected better; ended up wasting my time on 8 mediocre at best episodes especially the first one, it was so messy and then the other ml came into the picture and i just didnt care. whats worse, they decided to change the main love interest in season 2? huh? anyway, wouldnt recommend and im pretty shocked this kdrama has received more than 7 stars but there we go ?♀️Was this review helpful to you?
my name is the epitome of evoking emotion (specifically depression)
when i tell u i cried so many times over this show, it was heart-wrenching and sad. my favourite k-trauma so far. the fight scenes were all super well choreographed and i connected with jiwoo so so SO much and i suppose the twist was predictable but not for me cos i never predict anything. either way my name will always have a special place in my heart and i 1000% recommend!!Was this review helpful to you?
