So many people highly rated this drama that's why I had an obligation to watch it. Don't get me wrong from my rating - I did love it, but I had such high expectations for this, that the drama itself couldn't top them.
I was sure that this was going to be in my favorites list. Absolutely positively. But based on what others said, personally, I didn't shed a single tear, nor was I heartbroken or shocked by this drama. The start of it was strong - suspense, romance building so fast since the very beginning. However, the story got quite draggy all of the sudden. Many things were repeated over and over again. I don't know, maybe it's the effect of watching a 20 episode drama, when you start craving something completely new. Nevertheless, I did find myself enjoying the whole flow, character development and the unique comedy amongst all of them. The storyline looks somewhat unrealistic at the first glance, but somehow, the directors made it work. Or was it the acting?
And most importantly when it comes to Kill Me Heal Me, I think everyone was drawn in by the characters, or the actors that actually played them. I won't be able to stress this enough, but Ji Song was fantastic in this! The way he played every one of his personalities show this actor's real talent and potential to be casted in literally any drama of any genre. Apart from the male actor, there was a lot of screaming from the female lead. Thank god that she settled down towards the end of the drama. Even Park Seo Joon, who is, by the way, my favorite actor of all time, was great in this as a side character. Totally deserves to the the nation's oppa!~
I noticed that everyone loved the main track called "Auditory Hallucination" from the OST. It's a great song, but they shouldn't have overplayed it in the drama. In addition, love the fact that the actors themselves participated in the recording of the songs for this series!
So that's just my tiny little opinion about the well-known and appreciated series Kill Me Heal Me. It would've been a favorite of mine as well, but it got super stretched out and repeated lots of things. However, I think the amazing acting makes up for the flaws! So go watch it and see for yourselves!
