I feel ambivalent about this drama; from the very first season, something has always been off with it. But at the same time, I keep watching it for the thrilling, horror element to it—even though more often than not, I get disappointed with the simplicity behind many of the minor (and even the major) murder cases the Golden Time Team solves (i.e. the murder is horrendously gruesome but it turns out the murderer is some shallow-minded weak individual with a poorly written character—always kills the excitement for me!). Also, they haven’t thrown any major plot twists at us (at least ones that weren’t easy to guess), and details of the major cases were annoyingly repeated through and through throughout every single season. The fact that Kang Kwon Joo always sensed something was off wit the murder suspects due to voice cues is always what baited me to keep watching episode after episode until I got here, LOL. Of course, there is no question that I will watch season 5; more than anything, this drama has become preciously familiar to me if only because of the long journey and the fact that it is the first kdrama with this many seasons that I have ever watched! :D
