I decided watch this because I saw many positive comments on Instagram and a comedy is never a bad choice to make your feel good, right? However, this series started fun and there was a very good idea behind it, the disscusion about the male breast cancer. This is the best thing about the show, because revealed the prejudice against women and men who suffer with cancer.
The problems started when the main male character, Hwa Shin, resisted to evolve. You already wait for a bad tempered because this is the type Jo Jung Suk knows how to play. But, different from Oh My Ghost! He will not be so sweet or transform himself in a good guy. He will be always cruel, grumpy, screamer, and the first to make hard judgments about his girlfriend without thinking of her feelings under the pretext that "this is how I love." What is the limit between love and selfishness?
Can all sexist dialoges which gone out of his mouth be interpreted as a hilarious situation?
Gong Hyo Jin really did a good job in this series! I love her job!!! This was the main reason why I kept seeing the series until the end.
The secondary characters in my opinion is in many sense better, mainly the growing friendship between Gye Seong Sook and Bang Ja Yeong, who initially were enemies.
I don't think the Kim Rak's character was to be a asexual situation, because since the beginning it was very clear that that was a "temporary" situation, which happened as a kind of punishment for he were having dated several women in the past. So I did not see any possibility that subject would be discussed as sexual choices issue.
Although it was somewhat courageous the discussion about a love triangle, living together; maybe a soft kind of polyamory.
The OST was amazing!!! You should try listen to some musics! :)
So this series is not a complete waste of time, but it's not the best comedy you can see in the huge world of Korean dramas.

The performance of Han Ye Seul was the best thing, it was so wonderful that in many episodes, especially between chapters 10 and 15, I just kept watching the series because of her character.
I continued watching despite the fact that in the half some things very unreal and meaningless happened between Go Hye Rim y Choi Soo Hyun, he at various times was very annoying with his obsession for his own work and she was very naive (contradicting her personality in the beginning).
I would have preferred that it remains a little more insightful, because at various times the feeling is that he is the only wo can be smart enough to realize the games between them.
Although the final has not been bad, for me lacked logic: Hye Rim despite having suffered never questioned his own emotional distress.
A second weak point was the relationship between Soon Hyun and his mother and father, it all happened very fast, especially with regard to the father. So, it is used to try create an empathy with the feelings of abandonment of Soo Hyun (to justify his cold and obstinate conduct), but this failed and the all explanation sound very forced and inmature.
Another strong point: the relationship between Dr. Bae Mi Ran y Seung Chan - each episode in which they appeared was a joy because it formed a beautiful relationship of trust..
Again, every time Hye Rim open her fan, it was guaranteed laugh. No doubt her actor's job and charisma were unforgettable.
The soundtrack not had any detachable music.
I do not attend again because I think the story get lost during the second half and the good rhythm of the first part not remained.

I kept watching because of the actuations. The best are Ye Seo Ji - always fun - and Lee Hyun-woo, always sensitive and very cute. But the romantics scenes between them had too little chemistry so this couple couldn't seem believable.
The music was appropriate, but nothing detachable.

Lee Jong Suk did a great job. Also Kim Eui Seong did, mainly in the last chapters.
But... there is many problems with the storyline and the interpretation of the main actress. These problems don't make of this drama a terrible one, but is enough to not give to it 10.
The story works well, more or less, until episode 12. Until this point is one of best drama of this year, after that is a very regular drama. It is because the drama begins to lose direction and logic.
The end is more or less expected.
I don't like the behaviour of Oh Yeon Joo, each episode she was becoming increasingly aphatic and annoying with her actitudes. In fact, the most important criticism is the poor performance of the main female. Several scenes lost even more their meaning by the way she played badly some emotions.
Park Soo Bong has the worse lines of dialogs of all drama.

Not likable FL
I don't understand why a person of 28/29 years old who regrets her life decisions would keep acting as a 19 years old teenager when she is given another chance of redoing her choices. In fact, it's pretty easy to understand why she failed first time by just watching the two first episodes. And I don't know the reason why a paralegal with many years of experience working for a competent lawyer and big firm would act as a completely amateur. I think the scriptwriter forgot she has come back from 10 years in the future and she's not a teenager anymore. Because if she was going to act reckless and without a serious self reflection, this drama already failed for me. If the scriptwriter is waiting for give us that later, so the timing is wrong. I saw 5 episodes and she seems to be satisfied with using what she knows from the future or using the ML to get a better place in this life, and it makes she to be totally unlikable for me, because she didn't want a chance, she wanted to all be given to her. And the ML gives it all to her, but she can't tell it. So I could not continue to watch more. I feel sorry for the actor who plays the ML, because we can see that he did the best he could... But the actress over infantilized her character who was already immature... But I don't think the result would be different because the script miss the main point. It's not about a teenager growing up into an adult. It's an adult in a teenager body trying to make the right choices that her teenager version couldn't do. She should have "character development", but with the right starting point. The ML also seems to be the same during those 10 years too... he's the type of a mature guy with cold facade and warm heart. But nothing sounds good enough to keep me watching it.Was this review helpful to you?
