I’m normally a fan of historical c-dramas and not modern ones, but I decided to give it a chance after I saw high ratings for this and I don’t regret it one bit!! I don’t enjoy watching most modern rom-com c-dramas because of how repetitive certain character types are and plots that are easily predictable. But THIS, this show was a very refreshing change. I absolutely love the chemistry between Cheng Xiao and Xu Kai. It’s so sweet and I’m jumping around everywhere because I can’t handle it 😂 I love the relationships that other characters have with each other too (esp. Lao Mao and Lao K hahaha) No toxic relationships among the supporting characters either, which makes this drama light and easy to watch. Easily one of the best shows of 2021! I already can’t wait for more episodes hehe
