My only regret is that I didn’t watch this sooner or savour it more before it ended. I’m now looking forward to ravaging the book series and then watching the anime or rewatching this drama again. I’m so happy now that I’ve watched it. It’s one of those great dramas that tells a story extremely well and feels like it’s a unique story and its characters are always mesmerising to watch. The eye contact, facial expressions and emotions expressed from the male leads and cast were really great and I love that Wei WuXian and Lan Zhan are more polar opposite than perhaps any characters I’ve seen on TV before. From the beginning to the end I love how they never changed themselves and who they were but overtime became closer and more open-minded and mature about the world and so on.
