very interesting, but...

Okay so. It's an interesting premise of hitmen, police officer in disguise and carefree mechanic. The opening song is really catchy, and it's really my first time enjoying an ost so much.

Khaotung needs to be applauded for his amazing performance, the way he delivers the emotions, the dialogues and action sequence, it's really worth all the hype he's been getting. First too, does an amazing job at keeping up with his partner and even going beyond during some scenes. He really knows how to cry, i'll tell you that. Joong and Dunk, as much as they've improved from hidden agenda and star on my mind, their acting really does get a bit choppy here and there. Don't read this wrong, I'm not saying that they're making the series bad, but sometimes it really shows that they're acting, you know? How do I say this, for FirstKhao scenes, there's this raw play of emotions and it really feels real, but JoongDunk, I'm personally not able to connect with them as much.

Joong has a really good screen presence on his own, and the action scenes were amazing. Dunk too has certainly improved from a single expression to a wider range of emotions. But as I said, their screentime together wasn't fully enjoyable for me in the recent episodes. The initial 3-4 episodes, I was hooked by them, but now it really feels dull.

overhyped.

man i was so excited to watch this series after i saw some clipped scenes on youtube and instagram, the hype made me watch it alright. but jesus godamned christ this was unbearable. i sat through 6 episodes somehow and it's honestly just taking all my willpower to just smash my laptop shut, but no, i paid for this device.

meunfah has one expression throughout the show, be it happy, sad, angry or whatever the other emotion he's trying to express, and it's a stone face, something like this 0-0. he tried to smile here and there, blush and stuff but honestly it did not hit for me.
also the teerak guy, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHH he annoyed the shit out of me every time he appeared on the screen with his fake-ass naive, wannabe cute expression. like no one is THAT naive bro, please. the cute role does not suit him. it got to a point where i started nit-picking on all the flaws in the character.

now let me tell you i'm all for the fluff type of person, like i'd even take crappy made bls if the fluff is worth it. but this just pissed me off. you know what would be cool? if teerak turned out to be faking his entire persona to manipulate meunfah, and oh is his right hand man adding fuel to the situation. something like a psychotic serial killer. but honestly, this show is a no-brainer, and it's not worth your time.

i'll be honest, i pushed through 6 episodes only because of the 'punlee' character and of course, thomas. he might be expressionless but bro is hot. i'm tired of brainless college bl's, or maybe i'm used to better quality ones. that's all i have to say.

authentic, pure, AND HOMOSEXUAL.

SHIN AND SAINT ARE IN THE CLOSET. might jump out anytime.

to start with some background, i did not expect much from a thai remake of a kdrama i loved. like i never usually like remakes, so i went in to watch without much expectations. i surely was raving about skynani even without watching this cause i loved their off-screen interactions.

the chemistry is insane. both sky and nani are able to deliver the hurt, the emotions, and the rollercoaster of feelings of a broken friendship, family issues, and pressures from teachers. they worked so well, even better than some high-end bl actors i've watched before. trust me, every moment of this show is worth it.

special acknowledgement to mark who played as chadjen, he really aced the autistic character. like i did not expect such amazing representation, the fear, the awkwardness, the bursts of anger, it all was perfect. also the other mark, who played as cable, i loved his representation of the overworked student. and peeta too, see how i can't stop naming characters? that's how worth it this show is.

aj, jj and ken were also amazing, their friendship, and how situations tested them and finally things set for the better is what made me the happiest (other than saintshin).
