1st episodes are important people!
This drama is definitely worse than what the rating is given is my honest opinion. Overall, this drama was just another drama in the rush of BL dramas. I read the first half of the novel and although the original novel wasn't anything special, it was just a sweet story, the drama destroyed it. So. Bad.First episode, 2 minutes in and I was already grossed out at how bad the editing and script-writing was. They started off with a phone-call between the main character and his friend and for some reason added some weird and useless scenes. Added no detail or emotion at all. What were they even trying to do? People don't realize but 1st episodes are so important to let the audience know what the drama is about and why they should stay. I wanted to close the video as soon as the opening started. After the opening, they started somewhere later into the story, only to flashback 5 minutes later. Like??? Such horrible directing and script-writing. I only continued this drama because I had literally nothing to do when I was neglecting my schooling.
The actors were decent. Their character didn't have much depth so I don't know what they could've worked with there. I'd say out of the main couple, the male lead was the worse actor of the two. His scenes when he acted angry were so... off and he's just eye candy to be honest. But he can get better, maybe he's just not that experienced. The couple were cute at times though, when the shots were pretty decent.
The only thing I liked was the music which is one (1) song. Were there even other songs? I feel like I heard the same song a thousands times in the drama.
Overall, skip this drama. Go watch some other BL dramas. Or just watch this when you don't have anything to do.

Who okay-ed this storyline?
The drama had so much potential with the vibe they were going for and the skills of the main leads but the plot was a very big question mark.Writing
The main conflict and the writing of the show was so underwhelming, that I honestly questioned "who the hell said this was good enough?". It was honestly one of the most stupid and lack-lustre conflicts to ever be made. With how they were directing the mood of the show, I was expecting them to make this more mysterious and darker instead they made it... rainbow? While forcing the dark, that really was not dark at all. Even the writing for the more simpler scenes that concentrate more on the relationship of the main characters, Akk and Ayan, was very bland and felt extremely forced (luckily their chemistry was able to save majority of the scenes). In the first few episodes, Akk and Ayan kept meeting the same exact way, they kept reusing so much of the writing, that their conversations were just going in circles the whole entire first 3 episodes. I really do not know what the writers wanted to say through this drama.
Acting/Cast
First and Khaotung had great chemistry in this drama, I think these two are fairly good actors and could've had a lot to show with the type of genre this drama was promoting. But I feel like the writing of this drama was so bad, that all the actors could do was just show a different kind of personality rather than a whole character. Like seeing Khaotung act so straightforward and brave compared to his other characters in other dramas, is fairly amusing.
Music
The music was forgettable. I don't remember any particular music piece or song in the drama.
Re-watch value
Would I re-watch this drama? Maybe, but only the main couple scenes before they officially got together. Everything else is not really worth watching and I do not want to see the character I want to punch in the face.

The casting of the drama is exceptional, I watched this drama firstly because of Kim Yoojung, the queen of historical dramas, and Ahn Hyoseop, who I've been a fan of for a while. The leads did great but I feel like, I mean Ahn Hyoseop did mention this in interviews, there were times where Ahn Hyoseop forgot he was blind? It was weird when he would look and maybe? accidentally make eye contact? but otherwise their acting was top notch like always.
