1. Bai Quan is close to reviving mo Yuan
2. Ghost Rider princes is close to reviving The child but still unsuccessful?
3. Bai Quan visits Yu his who is a bit cold and flippant downplaying his injuries. I think they must be lovers bc they sleep in the same bed
4. We learn that song hua is likely experiencing a gated calamity if the heart and few gods survive these things. It is assumes fengjiu is the reason. I recall in journey of flower you survived the calamity by embracing it whole heatedly but maybe that isn't the case here?
This summary is much shorter than my other summaries bc I did not enjoy this episode.

DONG HUA!
2. Dong Hua is walking around, looking way too pretty, and keeps remembering details about Fengjiu, to the point of having a vision of her in his room. He reaches out to touch her but she disappears, and then he again looks at the bell almost as if he is in pain or feeling some intense feeling (conveyed all through his eyes).
3. Si Ming explains that the parents of Fengjiu have decided that she is of age and her parents are accepting marriage proposals. Dong Hua appears annoyed and asks him why he is mentioning it and Si Ming reports it is a 'casual conversation'. (yea right). Dong Hua gives the bell to Si Ming to return and explains there debt is settled and chastises Si Ming for thinking that there is a deeper meaning.
--so it seems Dong Hua is choosing to ignore his feelings and to move on-
4.Fengjiu is with her aunt, receiving gifts from eligible men. She doesn't seem interested. It seems she is not about to give up. She tells them to leave their names so she can return them. Si Ming arrives with the gift from Dong Hua (why he would send it when she is receiving gifts from suitors is anybody's guess)(he could have waited, it is like posing as a suitor when really he is rejecting her completely by explaining what kind of relationship they are to have now)
5.Fengjiu receives the message that the gift is meant to be a keepsake from their time in the mortal realm. She is clearly upset when she sees the gift because she gave it to him when he promised to 'never let her down for all eternity'. Fengjiu accuses Dong Hua of being insensitive and calls the gift worthless. She is clearly upset. She goes to the mortal realm where they spent the night in the barn and who is there but Dong Hua.
6.Fengji is chastised by Dong Hua and repeats that the romance ends in the mortal realm. But being the only person who could get away with it, Fengjiu is upset and confronts him; she asks why he is this shabby hut, and asks him if he remembers what happened. Dong Hua clearly remembers, and his face is pained as he recounts that he remembers (back to her the entire time so she doesn't know) however he coldly shuts her down and even says that they are not common mortals, not just trampling on her feelings but disdainfully rejecting her. HE CLEARLY CARES FOR HER but is not allowing himself to love her? What makes him so special?
7.Fengjiu's spirit seems to be crushed. Now she is obediently staying at home, I imagine she wants nothing to do with the celestial court. OMG why are the writers so cruel to her? She HELPED him. And he didn't have to be so mean! He clearly is forcing distance between them, to what end, who knows. Is he not allowed to be in love? Is he a giant jerk? Does he have some sort of image to maintain? He should be lucky Fengjiu gives him the time of day after what he put her through.
8. Ye Hua wakes up. In spite of Li Jing's warnings he offers up the divine elixir.
9. The celestial is filled in on the events of the eastern sea, and apparently Ye Hua has lost all of his power. That seems to be a theme in this show. So no one will be around to take on Cuang Cuang. How convenient.
10. They feed the elixir to the prince that has Mo Yuan's spirit. He passes out but Bai Quian and friends reassure his father. Elsewhere Yan Zhi(demon princess) journeys back with the baby while 16th stalks her in the woods (I guess he is protecting her?) He returns back to Kunlan and she meets her brother, encouraging him to be strong for his people and the baby.
11. Apparently the baby has not been revived yet. But Yan Zhi is going to try. Mi Gu visits Li Jing and apparently phoenix sent him there requesting that he repay a favor to Ye Hua for rescuing him. They get the soul jade from them.
----Most interesting thing was probably Fengjiu and Dong Hua in this episode--

2.In a pivotal moment, Xuan Nu recounts how her entire life she has been compared to others, first her elder sister who married Bai Quian's eldest brother, and then Bai Quian, the beloved and beautiful fox princess. She was the youngest in her family, and because of that, (I think) Xuan Nu was always overlooked or felt left out. She ran away from her arranged marriage because she wanted something more. She fell in love, and Xuan Nu explains that one misstep has haunted her entire life. It really is quite sad--while Bai Quian worked hard to be a high goddess she was born with certain things that Xuan Nu could never have. She was envious and felt insecure (undoubtedly because she heard only about the other girls and maybe herself was overlooked for being average). She decided to take one thing for her self and it has all gone down hill since then. Very sad.
I think of Xuan Nu were a stronger person she could have made it work, but her weak character made her very susceptible to jealousy and envy, twisting her and filling her with hate. Going to great lengths for the man she loved and then being rejected by her friends and family and the man she loved also play a big part. She played a big hand and lost a big hand.
3.Yan Zhi , 16th (sorry I called him 18th earlier), and Xuan Nu arrive at the sea where the heavenly beasts who have 1/2 of the heavenly kings power reside (recall Dong Hua was severely hurt by a similar spirit that had 1/4 of the king's power in it in the evil sealing pagoda).
4. The ghost princess and the other guy--oh--16th--are clearly no match for the beasts. Li Jing shows up (of all people) and joins the fight. Li Jing tells 16th to take the ladies somewhere safe while he fights them alone. But Xuan Nu is adamant and refuses to leave. 16th is more concerned about Yan Zhi and he leaves her.
5.Ye Hua shows up, places a protection barrier around 16th and Yan Zhi, and then goes inside to join the fight. Li Jing tries to bring Xuan Nu to safety but she will not leave. Ye Hua engages in some epic CGI battles (the animation reminds me a little of the original clash of the titans). He suffers a severe wound but is successful. Ye Hua takes some divine fungal grass and then looks like he is about to take it all or destroy it. A panicked Xuan Yu runs at him with a sword (or in his direction) and a monster bites his arm off. Xuan Nu is knocked to the ground, still desperate for the divine fungus, but it doesn't look like she will be getting any.
6. Le Jing leads her out, and everyone follows Ye Hua (now missing an arm) to the beach. He sinks the island into the eastern sea, destroying all traces of divine fungus (why, I have no idea) maybe they feared it would be used to revive the previous ghost lord. Yan Zhi begs that he use the fungus on the dead baby because it is half celestial. Ye Hua does so.
7.Xuan Nu is apparently dying, and Li Jing tells her that the grass is for their son. Xuan Nu touches his face and he promises to get her better. She repeats she truly loved him and he says 'I know' before dying (so sad!). In a truly awful turn of events, his inner monologue is 'I have finally remembered your face Xuan Nu, what a ridiculous couple we are' I don't know if this implies he finally has feelings for her or not. The child is revived, and he gives the order that he be returned home.
8.MEANWHILE Ye Hua is wandering around, no arm, like it isn't a big deal, perhaps because he is thinking of Bai Quian and Mo Yuan. Interestingly, Li Jing says he cannot use it on Mo Yuan. Li Jing explains if he uses it, then it will break the seal on the bell. Li Jing finally reveals that he and his siblings are vessels of power for his father, and that as they die he grows stronger.
9. Yu Zhen and 16th clearly have feelings for one another but he refuses to go back with her instead he chooses to go to Kunlan mountain (sigh). She apologizes and tells him to NOT come after her before walking off with the baby.
10. Ye Hua is kind of crazy in love. He lost his arm. And doesn't seem to care! He needs to take better care of himself! The sea prince awakens, and a fake arm is given to Ye Hua (a prosthetic; apparently they don't have skello-grow)
__
I found Xuan Nu's stellar performance and tragic death after a life just drowning in sorrow to be the best thing about this episode. Everyone else just seemed to be boring. I was glad the writers gave her an opportunity to at least explain herself, making her more 3 dimensional.

2.Dong Hua and Si Ming discuss the trial. Shockingly, Dijun has lost 9/10ths of his power. He says it will be fine in a few years but no one is to know.
3.Fenjiu is back in the immortal realm (not sure how she got there). Mi Gu is trying to get her to eat and she is feeling responsible for sabotaging Dijin's trials. Mi Gu points out the obvious, that even if she manages to satisfy her debt, she probably won't ever forget Dijun, presumably because of her feelings for him.
4.Fengjiu (like me) is wondering what will happen now with her and Dijun. Her father appears and punishes her. She must kneel while holding a stick. She apologizes, then tries to escape. She begs him not to beat her. Her 4th brother steps in and pleads for mercy on behalf, explaining she is the only girl left now. Her father is concerned about the embarrassment Fengjiu has caused.
5.4th brother uses the mention of Bai Quian'ss son to distract his father. Fengji is able to go to the west sea to see her aunt. She runs into Yuan Zhen, now a god again. She takes the time to clear up the bath misunderstanding, explaining the heavenly trial of love to him. Apparently he was executed for his role in Dong Hua's death and his trial ended early :/
6.All the old disciples have gathered at Kunlan. Meanwhile Ye Hua prepares to give Bai Quian the soul lamp (I think in his mind this confirms his belief that she loves another). He tells her how to use it. I think he kind of sarcastically remarks that she knows how to take care of Mo Yuan well. In a surprisingly cowardly mood she asks him if it is okay for him to give it to her so easily--almost like he wants him to stop her. She says she wants to repay his kindness (guilty, I think, and confused about her feelings for him). Ye Hua confesses he only wants her.
7.Bai Quian ignores this request and tries to leave. Is Ye Hua going to rape her?? He shuts the doors takes her to bed--starts to kiss her, and she has flashes of old memories involving him--he magically removes their clothes, they hook up (?) but in the next scene are fully clothed so I am not sure if that happened. I think they sleep together. Censorship laws make for some confusing content.
8.Bai Quian eventually leaves and Fengjiu appears, embracing her aunt. Aww they have such a cute relationship. I think that out of everyone around they have such a unique relationship. Kind of like mother daughter/sisters. Bai Quian holds her while she cries.
9.The celestial king explains his stamina is failing and he is ready to pass the throne onto him but is looking for the right time. He says that after he destroys the divine fungal grass (did I misunderstand?) he will use that occasion to do it. It seems there are four mystical beasts (hurrah for more awful CGI) guarding it. I bet they have a lot of heavenly father's sealed power too O_o
10.Bai Quian reveals to 18th that she is infact Si Yin/17th. She explains what happened 70000 years ago but 18th is just happy to have found her. And he doesn't seem to care about her gender. Fengjiu is keeping her aunt company while she waits for Mo Yuan to awaken. Elsewhere Ye Hua is cradling his son.
11. It ends with Ye Hua setting out to tame the mythical beasts with second prince.
_____
I am fixated on the relationship between Fengjiu and Dong Hua. I have a bad feeling that she is going to be hurt very badly by Dong Hua. This drama seems to be a bit sadistic in the men doing something to hurt their lovers. But it does make for good storytelling.

2.Bai Quian sees Li Xu (I think), Bai Quian's mom and Si Jun arm in arm talking about why Si Jin is not pregnant. Judging by Bai Quian's face there is a bit of jealousy mixed with feeling like an outsider. In addition, Bai Quian is probably feeling apprehensive since she is not the warm fuzzy kind of person like other women--she is probably worried no one will like her.
3.Change scene to the northern sea. And this makes no sense: we learn from phoenix that Mo Yuan has been in the west sea for many years, I suppose part of his soul was born into the sea prince, and then all of a sudden Mo Yuan's sword on Kunlan mountain begins to glow....Mo Yuan is preparing to wake up?
4.Now Ye Hua is ill, like having a heart attack, is he Mo Yuan?? Does he have part of his soul? So much is happening right now I don't know what to think.
5. Phoenix discusses concerns as not to tell Bai Quian the new information because of concerns that Ye Hua may have a.k.a. being confronted with the now real fact that Mo Yuan will come back and that means competition not just within the celestial tribe, I imagine, but for Bai Quian. So it seems they are different people.
6. In the end, Phoenix visits Ye Hua and explains to him that Mo Yuan's spirit resides in the body of the Northern sea prince. He also tries to explain that to Bai Quian,he is a mentor. I think he just makes Mo Yuan sound even more awesome. Surprising me, Ye Hua wants to resurrect Mo Yuan a.s.a.p. because he wants to make Bai Quian happy (so selfless!) but maybe he also wants to end the turmoil of wondering how Bai Quian truly feels.
7. Si Jin appears to greet Bai Quian who immediately calls her out for not greeting her directly (after Si Jin basically brags about her good relationship with Ye Hua's mom and son). This is so good....Bai Quian also makes a point for pointing out Si Jin's insulting behavior by not greeting her properly, so Si Jin knows she is not dealing with someone unafraid to confront her. Next tactic? Point out how devoted Yu Hua is to the memory of Su Su, goal? Raise jealousy. Smart girl. She isn't saying anything untrue, although it might be inappropriate since she didn't ask.
8.Bai Quian gives her a warning, reminding her not to be 'too smart' I think essentially she is telling her I know what game you are playing and I play it better, because she follows it up with instructing her to greet her in the Qiu Qiu way which for someone like Si Jin would be extremely annoying (it involves a lot of preparation and bowing). Bai Quian immediately figures out that Si Jin made Su Su jump, and she is surprised to learn that Ye Hua stabbed her and that she stole the eyes of Su Su.
9.The servant girl explains that while Ye Hua succeeded in convincing everyone but Si Jin that he did not love Su Su, his refusal to see Su Su resulted in Susu doubting his love and leading to her suicide.
---I really, really love how direct, smart, and no-nonsense Bai Quian is, and how when it comes to her feelings she is extremely sensitive and perhaps immature--
10. Phoenix explains to Bai Quian all the news about Mo Yuan. (Sorry,I know she is a different actress but she looks a lot like the lead from journey flower so whenever she says shifu I keep expecting bhai zu hua to pop out) . They try to theorize why he selected a prince of the west sea to house his soul, and the theory is that perhaps he is repaying a kindness since (9th?) died and is from the west sea (I apologize if I misunderstood this part). Such a nice shifu.
11.Bai Quian wants to leave but does not want to be rude so she writes Yu Hua a letter explaining her reason for leaving. Ye Hua looks pissed when he reads that letter. Second prince asks Ye Hua to stop his cousin, who is seen throwing a somewhat cute tantrum--she wants to go to the mortal realm and be with Dong Hua (can't say I blame her) I am still surprised she threw Fengjiu in the evil pagoda. But she is very impulsive. I think second prince asks him to do this to distract him from his own personal troubles. Instead, Ye Hua gives her permission because she wants to do her best for love--I guess mirroring his own situation. Second prince literally tells her 'go see Dong Hua, whom you can't have' bwahahah
--MORE FENGJIU!--
12. Crown prince is stuck on his shifu (a.k.a. Bai Quian) who has left. He has the cloud fan, and Fengjiu tells him that it is the cloud clearing fan. She suspects aunt has forgiven her former maid because she gave it to his son. Unfortunately, they trigger something in the crowd, causing her to use magic, knocking them to the ground, and then royal consort finds them. Yes, he was on top of her. he must have a double curse. This can't be good. She immediately goes to tell his majesty. Oh no.
13.The royal consort tells the story she heard and says it is all a lie. That they were basically in each other's arms, implying they are lovers.
14. Dong Hua rejects her words and says anyone who repeats them will be killed. However, both are imprisoned (so I guess he does believe the concubine). Si Ming appears and says that their current situation is better than anything anyone could have conceived in terms of hurting him. The emperor shows up and is ready to hear her side.
15.Si Ming tells her stay firm. As in to admit to adultery. This is seriously some twisted stuff. Si Ming is telling her (while invisible) to admit to an affair. whaaaat?
-Why, why, WHY does Dong Hua want her to hurt him like this??? What can he gain? Besides hurting Fengjiu, who is being asked to ignore her principles and hurt the one person she loves the most?? I am so confuzzled.

(I can't help but notice the type of outfits Bai Quian favors. It seems each outfit is unique to the character. Fengjiu favors more striking colors in pink and red, perhaps because of her bold, romantic, playful character; Bai Quian favors cool blues because she is so level headed and direct and maybe Si Jin favors gold because she wants to project warmth and status.)
2.Bai Quian overhears the maids gossiping about how great Si Jin is (not sure if Si Jin planned this) and the compare her to the high goddess: Si Jin is supposed to be kind and gentle and stands up for people who commit crimes, while Bai Quian is old and cold and someone to be feared. I personally say she is someone to be respected and is fair. But they don't know her. That is partly (in my opinion) Bai Quian's fault; she avoids others chiefly because of her directness which can be misinterpreted or intimidating and she probably avoids friendships to protect herself.
3. Bai Quian lectures Ye Hua for babying A-Li; Ye Hua basically says he isn't your child. She admits that she could never give birth to someone so kind and that she learned to be unrestrained, and not to be kind--I think this is a middle finger to the culture of raising women to appear a certain way. Take Si Jin who must project a certain image. Bai Quian doesn't care about others thoughts and says what she thinks, a truly enviable quality and certainly not desired in a young woman. But her status as a high goddess combined with her beauty and her role as a queen gives her certain liberties others don't have. I imagine many women would envy Bai Quian because of her confidence and ability to defy the norms; many men and women lack that freedom because they have no power or it has been ingrained in them to follow certain rules. And the celestial court is, if anything, rigid and strict, unlike Quian Quian. I mean look at Fengjiu.
The scene transfers to a DRAMATIC FIGHT SCENE WITH DIJUN
4.Dijun and Fengjiu are fleeing assassins. She is struck in the back by an arrow! They took refuge in an abandoned building. She calls him Dijun in her pain, making the emperor wonder who the hell Dijun is. Even in her pain she explains she does not cry because her aunt told her she must protect others and be unafraid of death. The emperor says he will protect her.
5.Dijun kills all the soldiers and flees, looking for a physician for the dying Fengjiu. Coincidentally he encounters Yan Zhi in her mortal form (all the gods are living in the same area in close proximity to each other??) Aww it's so romantic!!!! I don't want her to die I don't want them to forget! Fengjiu has him promise not to forget their promise. He continues to think about this unknown Dijun but promises to protect her. She says he will forget her when she dies, and he insists over and over (like he can make it happen) that she will not die. This is so sad. Oh geeze dramas never make me cry....
6.While Yan Zhi is tending to Fengjiu, Xuan Nu appears and says she can detect the scent of the fox tribe and guesses by her age who she is. This is confirmed by her knowledge of remembering that Fengjiu had the plumbed coxcomb on her forehead, used to confirm the former's identity. Xiuan Nu seems to think she can use Fengjiu to resurrect her son. But Yan Zhi will not allow her and encourages her to let the boy (Ying'er) go. Poor Xuan Nu. I'm surprised she hasn't stolen a baby to replace hers. Anyways she insists the boy is not dead.
7.Recall a few episodes back the princes went to look for divine fungal grass to revive Ye Hua? Well it's now been brought back. They failed. However Yan Zhi tells Xuan Nu about it and that it may help. This is probably to help her and also get her to back off from killing Fengjiu. She promises to help her find it after helping Fengjiu. 18, who can sense evil intentions, sends her a warning with his mind (he can do that?). I am learning that the mortal realm is a SMALL realm.
8. Xuan Nu distrusts Yan Zhi's kindness (I don't blame her. Everyone has essentially rejected, abandoned, or hurt her mainly because of her own actions but it is still really sad). There is a cute scene with 18 and Yan Zhi (apologize if I get some people's names wrong).
9. Dong Hua's response to the attempt on his life (and more likely the attempt on his favorite concubines life?) the clan responsible is to be completely obliterated (wowza) and everyone is to be questioned, including the crown prince. I think this is because of his feelings (bordering on obsession) for Fengjiu.
10. Dijun/Dong Hua/Emperor promises that he will not betray Fengjiu in any lifetime. With my knowledge of dramas, I have a strong feeling he is not going to live up to this promise, making for very good t.v. later. Poor Fengjiu I have a feeling she has a difficult love story in store for her.
11.Dijun has kept the bell (recall he gave it to the old man by the bell/Fengjiu stole it) that Fengjiu gave him in this lifetime and he swears to keep it FOREVER. Will he live up to this promise as well?
12.Everyone is gossiping about the incident regarding the sea princess--the story is Si Jun tried to beg for mercy for the girl but Quian Quian ordered her sent away--Bai Quian's image as a harsh woman is being cemented. Luckily she doesn't seem to care.
13.The episode ends with Ye Hua's mother explaining she is uneasy about his interest in Bai Quian, whom she learns (but hasn't seen) looks like Su Su. She also believes Bai Quian will cause troubles because she apparently got A-li drink (even if it was unintentional).
___
I am wondering how Bai Quian will fit into the celestial tribe's extremely rigid (and conservative) world, I wonder what Si Jun will do next, I am curious of Xuan Nu will succeed in resurrecting her baby, and most importantly, what will come of Fengjiu who has received big promises from Dong Hua (my instinct screams he is going to hurt her)

1.Ye Hua admits he was attempting to stir some jealousy in Bai Quian (rather refreshing for a male character to admit this) however she continues to avoid discussing his feelings. Ye Hua leaves her alone with her thoughts after proclaiming that only one man is in her head (i.e. Mo Yuan). So Ye Hua, we learn, is struggling with his belief that she is in love with Ye Huan and worse, competing with a dead shifu is tough.
2.Xuan Nu locates Yi Zhen (ghost princess) using the jade who then attempts to heal her eyes but fails because of (18th/s?) interference. It is really sad because Yi Zhen, who is extremely intuitive and kind, plays along with Xuan Nu's charade regarding the dead baby. She seems to be the only person in the entire series who genuinely cares about Xuan Nu, but that is also her nature. Xuan Nu breaks down in tears in her arms (I have to say I was worried she would stab her in the back but she didn't; she was probably hungry for some love and kindness)
3.Please don't be surprised when I reveal that Xuan Nu feeds Yi Zhen a pile of lies--she tells her that Li Jing killed eldest prince and colluded with Bai Quian to blind her. I wouldn't be surprised if Xuan Nu actually has convinced herself that is what really happened due to her tendency to warp events to her own benefit.
4.Sparks seem to fly between Yi Zhen and 18th, both unaware of the other's identity which will likely lay the ground for another interesting series of romantic conflicts.
5.Ghos tribe soldiers, who throughout the entire series have shown strong loyalty to the previous ghost lord and have been increasingly unhappy with li Jing's actions to maintain peace, now believe that the former lord will be resurrected or return (they are undoubtedly right)
More Fengjiu and Dong Hua!! They are my favorite couple in this series. Sorry everybody. I have a strong, strong feeling that there are going to be issues with their happiness beginning with the fact that Dong Hua seems to have carefully plotted out his entire romance with her, including staging her betrayal of him (extremely odd)
6. We learn that Fengjiu has never experienced jealousy, and Si Ming reveals that she is truly suited for Dijun. However, her job--get this--is to shatter his heart and cause him thoroughly hate all women. WHAAAATTT??? Fengjiu is incapable of such unwarranted and deliberate cruelty. But Si Ming insists that not only is she not the woman destined for him, but her whole reason for being here is this twisted mission.
7. Fengjiu meets the mother of crown pronce (a Taoist nun) who oddly looks a lot like Bai Quian.
8. Dong Hua is told by a servant that the pure consort a.k.a. Fengjiu is ill and the crown prince's mother is implicated. Dong Hua snaps at him that such a claim is ludicrous before storming out.
9. Now Fengiu is pretending to be sick--I have a feeling her goal is to set up a lie that implies the nun and then have him find out. Unfortunately, she can't do it. She says it is from a cold. Fengjiu's inner conflict of living up to her noble aunt's teachings makes her unable to destroy the other woman's life.
10.Dong Hua admits he would not have believed her had she said otherwise. Now the emperor is thoroughly convinced she is pure--which I imagine will make the fall extremely bitter and painful.
11.Dong Hua admits that if 'anything were to happen to you I would lose all reason' and that 'no matter what you do, I would pardon you' bold words. Si Ming implores her to end this brief interlude/romance and explains Dijun probs won't remember her, but Fengjiu can't stop she says, basically because she loves him. ---I hope they have a love child---(sorry readers I am writing this as I watch you guys get all my feelings too)
12. Xuan Nu apologizes in an inner monologue as she prepares to kill Yan Zhi. But she is stopped by 18th(?). His name is Zi Lan. Zi Lan furiously condemns her actions and threatens her with the power of the celestial tribe if she doesn't back off and disappear. What choice does Xuan Nu, who is essentially blind and powerless, have?
__________
Things are starting to look interesting, especially with Fengjiu and Dong Hua. I hope they have a love child but very rarely do I get what I want in these shows. I just hope that he doesn't turn into an ice god of death when he returns to heaven after Fengjiu presumably assists him in making him loathe all women. My theory is that he is doing this for purely selfish reasons: Dong Hua has feelings for her and he is trying to weed them out. Wouldn't want to lose that reputation of being a rock. Of course he probably won't even remember what happened. I really appreciate the actor who plays Dong Hua, his eyes are extremely expressive, I would say on the same level with Wallace Huo from Journey of Flower. Maybe it's because he has big eyes. I don't know. But they are really intense.

--I personally think he needs to forgive himself because she has made it clear many times that she wants nothing do to with him. she says he is the only man she has ever completely loved but too much time has passed and she is different now. She tells him they are acquaintances now and bids him a farewell.--
--Props to Ye Hua for respecting her space and not interrupting her, speaking I suppose to how much he loves her. He alone notices how much it hurts her to sever ties entirely with Li Jing. I can imagine she was probably doing him a service by ending things completely and for her it was hard because she was saying goodbye to an old friend, someone she once loved in fact :(
2. Phoenix god goes to see Mo Yuan and curiously asks Mi Gu to keep it a secret
3. So now learn from phoenix gods inner dialogue that Kunlan mountain is actually formed dragon bones (guess that makes it special) and he has sensed some divine energy at its base--I think he is suspecting that Mo Yuan will awaken again
4. Phoenix god stops by Kunlan and runs into an old desciple of Mo Yuan who passes on the info that ghost lord stopped by and said he saw si yin in the mortal world (probably Bai Quian when she was a shifu) and another follower went to check it out. the whole place has been spruced up and cleaned....almost as if
5. Bai Quian arrives in the heavens secretly with Yu Hua to recuperate. After some flirtatious banter we see her yet again avoid the subject of the feelings between her and Yu Hua. It is extremely easy to notice because she avoids making eye contact with him and makes an excuse to escape. Without fail she has done this multiple times since meeting him.
6. Ye Hua takes her to several places she has been, even showing her the flowers he grew 300 years ago after su su jumped to her death. She experiences feelings of discomfort at the palace of beauty and her old servant falls to her knees in tears in recognition. Bai Quian dissuades her and again rejects that she is su su. I find it interesting that Bai Quian has not once thought about why so many people have mistaken her for su su.
7.Su Jin is horrified to learn that High Goddess Bai Quain has been brought to the goddess of beautiful youth, a strange occurrence indeed
8.How can Su Jin compete with a badass like Bai Quian? Everyone seems to love and revere her. And she has power to boot. Now her competition isn't a dead girl but a living breathing high goddess. Su Jin is going to do something dumb I can sense it; she is going to get sloppy because she's gotten away with it so far and she is confident in her position in the celestial court...but Bai Quian is a high goddess and a queen and apparently su su and su yin she has waaaay to many people on her side.
9.Bai Quian learns that su su loved peach blossoms hence Ye Hua planted them. ...sorry I find this child actor extremely annoying. He shows up.
10.Baby prince assumes that she is pregnant because he read that a woman can't hold a baby from another family when she is pregnant (what is this kid reading?)
11.They go the realm of supreme purity, where if you recall Yu Hua recovered following his battle against the mermaid lord, i believe. Yu Hua takes her peach blossom fan and with her permission plans to write a (love?) poem on it
12. Baby prince and her take a bath together. Ye Hua continues to focus on all the similarities between her and Su Su and talks to himself about it.
(around moments like this, that seem to drag, I want to see some Dong Hua and Fengjui...)
13. Si Jin tries to get the sea princess to feed Ye Hua something so he sleeps with her. I guess she figures if Bai Quian is offended and breaks the engagement she can then dispose of the princess afterwards. If she succeeds it is the kind of betrayal someone like Bai Quian could forgive. Case in point, Li Jing. I mean she also killed herself as Su Su because she thought he was with Su Jin, and there was no physical evidence.
14.Sea princess tries to get Yu Hua to eat the soup, promising this is farewell soup since she is leaving the nine heavens. He agrees because she once save A Li. He doesn't eat it, because he has some smarts. Instead he interrogates her. He immediately brings up the incident of the water push in the mortal realm....he pressures her until she confesses that she pushed her. She confesses then that the soup contains a drug that can make him like her.
15. Si Jin steps in and stands up for her, probs because she knows that if the other girl confesses she will sell her out. this is where I would think Yu Hua would use some crown prince authority to interogate her in private since she confessed to attempted murder and attempted...statutory rape? There was a drug in there.
16. Bai Quain comments on how pretty Su Jin's eyes are (that will be weird when she gets her memory back)--Yu Hua I imagine called her in so she could see Su Su was back--he is really nice and sends the sea princess home. He also tells Si Jin she should go too if she is so attached.
17. Bai Quian chastises Yu Hua for bringing her to the palace in the first place and lets her stay, and calls him out for thinking a woman in love would just come to her senses. The scene ends with Su Jin in shock and the princess begging to stay.

2.Change scene to Bai Quian who is with Yi Zhen who is excitedly trying to show her a cute animal. But he makes the mistake of touching her. Ye Hua who is watching shows himself and says he is here to claim his wife. Si Ming knocks the boy out, erases his memory, while Ye Hua explains to Bai Quian why he is angry.
3. Chance scene to Fengjiu who, poor girl, is visibly troubled. She clings to her aunt and looks like a lost puppy while she asks her what she should do--and says that Dijun a.k.a. Dong Hua looked like he was about to cry while looking at her. Her Aunt, either because she is impatient with Fengjiu or trying to make her feel better, I'm not sure, tells her she must have imagined it and blames the water (I genuinely believe that if Fengui weren't so worried she would have accepted that lame reason). But Fengiu is adamant. He was upset.
4. Si Ming and Ye Hua enter, and we learn that the disaster fate of love involving Zi yhen and Dong Hua has been averted however because Dong Hua did not fall for the fated lady then Fengjiu must take her place. Otherwise it would be interfering with fate. This reason alone is what convinces Fengjiu to do it, and i have to respect her for her selflessness, while she loves Dong Hua she genuinely wants to repay his kindness still and does not want to selfishly take advantage of him. That is difficult to do. I personally would take full advantage of a chance to be with the beautiful Dong Hua, even if he is not in his mega hott god form. ---We also learn that she has to hurt Dijub by giving him something sweet and then hurt him--
5.Change Scene: We learn that Si Jun is shocked that the little princess from the sea had the guts to push Quian into the water (yes, it was her who did it) but because she failed she now needs to figure out how to get rid of her because if Ye Hua investigates he will be angry if he traces it to her. So what does she do? I am continually delighted by her duplicity and manipulative nature: she says she will help the girl become Ye Hua's woman. Yup.
6.Chance scene to Dong Hua who is creeping outside of Fengjiu's room. He says he could stay there all night long and seems to clearly be infatuated with her. He goes inside....
7. Let me use this point to say that I hate Dong Hua's beard and mustache SOO much.
8.Dijun asks if she would like to play 'go' she says she doesn't know how. He says he will give her anything. He says he has been struggling to remember how they met. He believes that they first met when she first slept with him (a.k.a. Lady Chen) She asks him if he is really going to spend the night here, and he asks if that is inappropriate, and she says no. She is afraid and thinks about her father who would be mad if she slept with some guy outside of marriage. So Dong Hua agrees to marry her again!!!!!!
9.I love weddings! We are treated to a lot of famous Dong Hua 'looks' as he waits for his bride! (You know, that kind of intense unblinking analytical/overall intense stare) This is so shocking and awesome because it is the guy who is the most unfeeling and arguably eccentric in the universe. Lusting for a woman. Mind blown. Also reminds me of the fact that he is like as old as time, hooking up with one of the youngest immortals alive....
10.They sleep together....times like these make me wish that China didn't have such strict censorship I wanted to see more kisses, not an implication! Sigh....
11.Change scene-We learn more high immortals are catching the same sleeping sickness. Bai Quian learns that Xian nu took on her appearance and kidnapped not just Mo Yuan but her son. I love how quickly this character acts, she immediately is out for blood. No hysterics or concerns for the consequences. Super kickass.
12. Change Scene-Ye Hua has magically connected everything Xuian Nu--apparently there was a goddess whose murder intent hampered her ability to have children. She got around it by killing high immortals and making an elixir. Caper solved. When he learns that Bai Quian went alone to the ghost kingdom he storms off
13.Si Jun lectures the young princess to never be like 'that woman' who causes Ye Hua to disrespect palace kingdoms The little sea princess seems to be uncomfortable but agrees she is right.
14. Bai Quian kicks a lot of ghost ass using her fan in a great action scene. I think she can handle it herself as she is a high goddess. But she is injured. And then she plays a little game of words with the ghost rider queen who looks pretty bad ass herself (love her costume) . Bai Quian basically slaughters all of her soldiers blindfolded---
15. Xian Nu uses Mo Yuan and the boy as a living shield, stopping the sword from killing her just as Ye Hua shows up. I don't blame her--i would have used them too were I trying to accomplish what she was trying to accomplish. In a refreshing display, Ye Hua ASKS if she wants to kill her or does he want him to kill her. She tries to, but Li Jing intervenes because Xian Nu uses Bai Quian's face.
16. The truth is out, and you can tell how deluded she is because she explains to Li Jing the plan to save their son. Li Jing can either brutally punish her himself or go to war. Ye Hua gives him this choice. Seeing her situation unravelling Xian Nu results to begging Li Jing. It is evident that Li Jing knows he is right. He begs for mercy on her behalf--Li Jing is just too nice--and then Xian Nu is dumb enough to boast!! Her old face is returned to her for this.
17. Xian Nu seems to suffer a mental break at having her old face returned. In a fit of madness she blinds herself.

Ru Yi is presented as a dutiful daughter to a poor farmer. Her best friend (Si Ruo) is the niece(?) to the wealthy Tan (Black Tea Family--they are spoken of the way one might refer to the mob so they have a lot of authority) however Lady Tan heavily disapproves of their friendship. Si Ruo is presented as your stereotypical hormonal teen: her only concern is Mang Kai, her fiancee, and heir to the Tan Family. He's been studying overseas but is on his way home.
Lady Tan's husband is ill, at death's door and coughing up blood, and deeply hates his wife. He holds her responsible for the death of his concubine and son, the latter whom he feels obliged to reveal is alive. She looks nervous but refuses to believe this.
Elsewhere, a man is seen having his last meal and is then shot by firing squad. He seems to be something of a bitter, cynical, and a touch cruel (he smiles slightly right before he is killed, as if to say eff you). He does not die--this is all meant to seem like he dies (and he did not know this--he is surprised to awaken alive). He learns his father was forced to take his own life, and that the Tan family is responsible. He wants revenge.
Meanwhile, Ru Yi and her father visit the ailing Lord Tan but are refused, by the Lady of the house, and even given three silver coins (a year's wages for this poor farmer). Ru Yi shows she is perceptive and intuitive when she tells her father that there seems to be a darkness, or dark intent, in Lady Tan (I have a feeling that Lady Tan will more than live up to this, she has nightmares of a woman burning alive, a woman who is probably the dead concubine I mentioned earlier).
Si Ruo's brother is referred to as the 'town's devil' by his sister but his wife seems to give the vibe of someone not exactly happy with her marriage--like she is putting on an act of happiness. A man later helps Ru Yi from some extremely campy gangsters, and he looks like a stereotypical badboy you might see in a comic, the kind of 'too cool for school' guy'. She is unimpressed, of course, which I imagine will pique his interest later.
The episode ends with Mang Kai arriving and immediately noticing the man sent to pick him up is an imposter--still, he is forced into a car and it seems like the man who wants revenge is behind this.
I Like: The promise of revenge, secrets, murder and betrayal all within a powerful, wealthy family and the clearly innocent, poor girl who is going to (likely) marry into it if the summary is correct. I gave it a 6 for its cheesy *but expected) campyness. I recognize Lady Tan and Ru Yi from other shows and they both impressed me so I hope this is entertaining. I typically don't watch anything after the year 1800 so this should be interesting. I do NOT expect this to blow my mind. I know what I am signing on for.
I Hope: That Si Ruo does not turn into a bitter, hate filled woman because her man is stolen, but that will probably happen and I also hope that Ru Yi is not mind blowing dumb but she seems to be perceptive and intuitive, which is a plus.

1.Our leading lady is sent to live in a lovely room...only to learn that it is actually the worse room and in essence like living in the cold palace--but she will not falter--while talking to her maid servant third master learns not only is she fake but that she has a plan to be the first lady of Au Bao (I probably spelled that wrong
2.Au Bao--her new home--is actually pretty cool. It is like a city that is self-sufficient, and one can see why Shi Wu Jie is considered the commercial king of the north--they even have their own army!
3.Third brother tells his older brothers about this but for whatever reason they pretend that they don't know she is a fake and also tell their little brother he is wrong--i guess they don't feel like he is responsible or good enough to be included in their plans :( aww poor little bro
4.One can see the extent of third brother's intellect--and arguably understand why the brothers kept him in the dark--as he tries to drive his new sister in law out through a series of shenanigans....that's right...and he just fails
5.First he takes her to the archery fields--she is a good archer, and earns the respect of the soldiers
Then he takes her to the weaving rooms--and she is skilled a weaver (is their anything she cannot do?)
Then he locks her inside the family shrine building (which is apparently forbidden but she was never told this)
6.Meanwhile, Shi Wu Jie meets with the third prince(?) who is requesting a lot of grain...unfortunately the city only has enough for themselves....this seems to be a test by the emperor who is ill and considering his heir
7.As he is walking around with the prince, the heroine (I laughed so hard, this was funny) climbs on the roof in order to escape and is admiring the view--and then our hero is staring up at her in clear irritation
8.But wait...she charms the prince who is from her hometown! (but our hero apologizes and says she is a brute--exact quote) (i feel like the hero is working hard to not like her but he will lose...)
9.Anyways, prince has a cough and our leading lady makes him some food--and when her learns of this he calls her unfaithful (pretty harsh) but she actually helps him in finding a solution to the prince's grain problem....i think Shi Wu Ji already likes her and is jealous O_0
10.Third brother is not done with his tricks...he fakes an illness gets some laxatives (what a jerk--not only is this cruel and humiliation, it is extremely dangerous to one's health but he is doing this for his family//sees her as the enemy....what did my girl do that was so bad...?)
11.He gives her these laxatives as water as she is cooking congee for the children....and she isn't thirsty but she DOES add it to the food--and third master just gapes like this :O
I really like her. I think she is spunky, direct, and relatable--while she is innocent it isn't at that ridiculous/moronic way that makes you want to tear your hair out and her imperfections are both clear and believable, making her more human.
I can already see that second master will fall for her--I hope there isn't an annoying love triangle--and hero is already showing subtle signs of liking her though he doesn't know it yet. I like his character, and his attitude are consistent with someone that age and someone in such an important position of authority--he is a bit of a bully but not in an over-the-top exaggerated way but in a way that is believable because were he to be over the top/super mean no romance would be able to develop (i think, given the direction the show is taking)
Random Side note: he does not remember meeting her/she has not returned the jade pendant
Also Random: I really like his dark robes

1. Huan Er (this is a fake identity, remember) marries Shi Wu Ji by proxy/Second Master marries her as a rep for his eldest brother--who happens to be in the area but i suppose he wants to make sure his family understands that this is purely about business...the revenge business :O
2.Shi Wu Ji gets hammered (in a scene that is rarely seen in dramas,he does not pour his drink into the little cup but just drinks the alcohol straight from the spout) and with a cold, bordering on sneering expression he confides to second master that he has absolutely no desire to consummate this marriage
3.Always wise, second master suggests that he just pretend she is a prostitute :O
4.Looking unattractive Shi Wu Ji stumbles in and collapses on the bed. Annoyed, Huan Er dumps a bowl of water on him and not only does this wake him up, but our hero lashes out at her, picks her up (she's quite tiny compared to him) and sort of shakes her a little and asks her what is the matter with her/she doesn't take this passively she yells right back and then it looks like he might get physical but our hero wouldn't sink so low, he instead leaves
---hero knows she is a fake because Dr Len tells him, after she begs him not to--
5.Now married, they return home. Sadly, she waits for her family to see her off (she really wants to see her dad) and he does not come--Second Master is the most empathetic while first master looks both gloomy and angry (his usual expression)
6.She and her new sister in law are in the carriage--and she throws up a lot during this journey--I feel bad for her but it is pretty funny and a rare scene from a drama where the female character is a bit more human
7.She goes to this cliff looking all isolated and lonely, and it looks like she might jump but instead she promises Huan Er (the one who died, apparently) that she will live well (although I wonder if Huan Er will pop up again and try to take back what should have been hers)
8.Hero and Second master watch this--potential love interests?
9.They stay at an inn and some guy who wants to impress the sister-in-law hires some ninjas to attack only the ninjas go overboard and start getting really violent and the hero and family fight back--there is a wicked funny scene in which our leading lady fights back with a chair--proving again she can hold her own--she gets cut across the back defending sister in law and hero applies medicine--emphatic that he must be the one--
I really, really like this show. I can tell it is going to be excellent. The acting is good, the plot is interesting, and nothing feels contrived or fake. The actors have good chemistry. It has a few campy scenes, like when they disguise themselves as ghosts to get info but that was about a minute long, so I can live with it.

The other characters of importance are: Second Master/brother, Shi Sister, Third Master/Brother, Su Huan Er, Huan Er's mother, and the Su family head (the Su family is moderately wealthy/average noble family)
1.Shi Wu Ji and family basically invade a giant palace/mansion and when youngest brother hesitates to kill a woman begging for her life (she has a concealed dagger) Wu Ji mercilessly cuts her down (bloody)
and his expression screams Death God
2.We learn that the Shu Wu Ji is the head of his family, which is made up of second brother, youngest brother and a sister. Wu Ji is certain that the Su family is connected to the brutal fire that claimed the lives of his parents--he swore revenge and revenge he shall have (but you know what they say about revenge, be prepared to dig two graves-- a grave for the person you hate and yourself)
3.The family doctor--Lu Feng?--is the Shi family mole, spying on the Su's for years. He often tends to the youngest daughter, Su Huan'Er who is sickly. Since Wu Ji wants to marry a daughter from this family in order to better investigate the Su family head, he relies upon him for information.
4.The Su family consists of 5 wives and Six daughters--the 7th Liu Er is not recognized and works in the kitchens but she seems more like a lady's companion to Huan Er who is often bullied by the other girls--apparently Huan Er is considered the only girl in the family with manners by the doctor, Lu Feng
5.The doctor recommends that Wu Ji marry Huan Er because of her personality. The reason being that she is the least annoying and least involved in intrigue, which the Su family seems to have a lot of. Shi Wu Ji ignores the objections of his siblings and insists that Huan Er will be a puppet for him to control, never a part of the family, and essentially ignored--in short a means to an end (poor Huan Er....)
6.Liu Er goes to the festival and her money is stolen--Shi Wu Ji is there as well, and he puts a mask on (this guy really reminds me of the Prince of LanlLing, maybe an older brother) When he spies a young woman chasing after a thief, and in danger of being injured by him, he uses some sick moves to get her money bag back and turns when his second brother whistles--he leaves before Liu Er can thank him, and she sees his side profile (but he doesn't really look at her)
Important: Shi Wu Ji it seems has a bad sense of direction --like it's almost as bad as my own(it is odd, but I'll roll with it) and Second Brother invented a whistle to help get his attention--I guess the siblings tease him about this
7.He drops an important Jade Pendant (it is the only piece of evidence connecting the Su family to the fire//someone from the Su household tried to sell it, and it belonged to his parents)
8.Huan Er finds out she is going to marry Shi Wu Ji who has a reputation it seems of being a merciless god of death and a bully to boot--naturally she is terrified but nothing can save her--the Su father cares less about his daughters and more about making an alliance with a powerful family
9.Huan Er, Liu er, and her mother escape (now would be a good time to share that Liu Er's mother abandoned her as an infant, which is why she was never recognized) but they are cornered on a cliff--
10.No! Huan Er falls to her death (to survive a fall like that would take a miracle) and both Huan Er's mother and Liu Er are shocked--and the Su Head is extremely angry--but because Liu Er bears a close resemblance to Huan Er (i think the actress played both roles) she is going to take her place
11.Liu Er doesn't want to marry him either, but the Head Wife slaps her mom around (Huan Er's mother essentially raised her so she calls her mom) until she gives in--dad uses this as an opportunity to manipulate Liu Er's deepest desire: to be recognized and loved by her father--and gets her to not only agree to marriage but be part of a plan involving taking over the Shi family...O_o
The episode was very interesting, and I really pitied Huan Er and thought the portrayal was pretty realistic--the only thing poorly executed was the silly trick to make Huan Er not stand out and i personally find the whole getting lost thing odd but it will probably be part of a plot point later
Interestingly, I think the man who plays the Su family head is an actor who is always typecast as the bad guy--i feel as if i have seen him in a lot of dramas, playing the villain//maybe it's his make up??
I think the male lead is gorgeous and very imposing in his all black robes and will make an interesting couple with Liu, they are like night and day--Liu does not seem to be annoying so this should be good although his character seems a bit dark (like his robes O_o)
