Late to the party but underwhelmed and dragged on too long

I was captivated hearing the OST song randomly recalling my friends were so into this drama a while back. It started out strong and by episode 15 I was scanning past and didn't care for Bai Feng Jiu storyline. Her face looked unnatural, cringe whimpering and comedic storyline.

The crying scenes were done nicely but the male leads but at times it was like a competition of who can cry on demand more Bai Qian or Bai Feng Jiu lol. The # of episodes could have been 30-35 max but this drama dragged on so long and the rollercoaster was so predictable, annoying and the music score was good but after hearing it for 10000x bruh if it's 58 episodes you need more than 5 melodramatic crying scene, heart-tugging background music. It got so stale and I had to fast forward to just skip it. Bai Qian's character got hella annoying, in the last final fight how convenient the Emperors were all chilling, Mo Yuan just chilling in a cave. She's just hogging the body with no right seriously. Like how are you so dense?

I didn't like this drama from episode 30 on. If you like repetitive, cringe and drama's where the main leads get annoying it's for you otherwise skip.
