Could have been better
This series is very dear to my heart. I rewatched it 3 times (and I extremely rarely rewatched series). I loved it, Mew and Gulf played great for the time but now, when I watch edits on the series, it badly ages. The storyline was clumsy ; Type being homophobic and a football player, and his gay musician roomate, Tharn. The two of them happen to live in the same room and when Type finds out that Tharn is gay, he is asking him to move out and insult him by every names. (TIME JUMP) Later on when they get together, Type is still homophobic and bad-mouthed, and pathetically excuse his behaviour by saying "but you know I am not talking about you", Tharn has to keep on with his boyfie's annoying attitude. This relationship is so toxic. Type leads Tharn by the nose, and you can clearly see Tharn isn't happy in their realtionship, he is always jealous bc his sweety is unpredictable, and he has so justify his wrong doings over and over. He is tired but he love him. Type is the hugest walking red flag I've seen.Let's now talk about the NC scenes. Mew is really talented for those (if you watched or know a little bit What The Duck! then you know what I'm talking about) and the series even won an award for the best kiss, the iconic ice kiss. I really enjoyed them, I was giggleling, screaming, crying, jumping or stoicaly watched the kisses or the spicier scenes.
One thing I really really didn't like is Gulf acting. His acting was poor but God bless Mew saved their chemistry and the ambiance of the series. I'm quite sure if they took an other actor to play Tharn, the series would have been burried in the universe of BL.
I think I wrote a lot, and I prolly didn't say all I wanted to say.
It was Kachoii, byyyye !!
