NSFW Content - R rated. There is definitely mature content in the series but The leads did not have good chemistry so the NSFW scenrs were unbelievable.
Story,- The story was average. Some plot points are unbelievable. The pacing was okay. The ending seemed rushed.
Cast- The mail leads chemistry was off. They just did not seem believable. The second couple suffered from the same issue. The supporting cast was just average.
Production - The cinematography, lighting, and scenery we're done well. The sets were just dull as dishwater. Nothing special.
OST- Nothing special. Not rememorable. Did not enhance the movie at all.

Enjoyable
I've watched episode 1 through 10, so this review will be updated at the end of the series.Finally a BL series that displays genuine relationship building. The mail leads are very affectionate and tender toward each other. The relationship is very believable and genuine.
NSFW Content. - 1 - 9 Very sweet cuddles, hugs and affectionate touching. First Kiss in episode 6. Nice setup for NSFW scene in episode 8. The scene was sexy and classy. Not over the top., just enough to satisfy the viewers anticipation. Well done.
Story- I love the writing in this series. No , unnecessary frustrations. No stupid plot points. No lazy writing. No overused BL tropes. Good communication between the male leads. The story makes sense with a great plot and interesting twists. I'm enjoying the series immensely. It just makes you smile. The producers, writers, screenwriters, directors, everybody involved with this production has done an amazing job.
Production- The production is well done. Great cinematography, lighting, and scenery. High quality production. Thanks to everyone involved with putting the production together well done.
Casting,- The male leads are on fire. They are doing such an amazing job. I love it. They are so charming and sexy. The chemistry is off the charts. They're doing a wonderful job. They're budding relationship is very believable. The supporting cast is also doing a great job. Everyone should be very proud of themselves.
OST- Nice music played at the right times. Not overplayed. Well done. Nice addition to the show.

Great Relationship Dynamics!
WritingI like the way the writers have developed the relationship. Very believable. Its not easy to write complex relationships with depth and weight.
Normally writers use flimsy and shallow disagreements to create the enemy relationship so they can also use flimsy and shallow writing to create the LoverTurning Point. Creating the familiar Enemies to Lovers Throne.
But that's not the case with this particular series The writers took the time to create a real reason for one character to be angry and the other character's desire for redemption.
The writers also did a good job defining the character traits of each lead. They are both kind people that displayed kindness, compassion, understanding and forgiveness .
Good writing makes thier relationship dynamics believable and enjoyable to watch
Acting
Both of the male leads and the supporting cast acting is good. But Joke is really carrying this series.. Joke is a multifaceted and dimensional character. It takes substantial acting skills to portray characters like the Joke.
Production
High Quality. Well done. The production quality of BL dramas has improved dramatically.

A lot of sweet moments
Watched on IQiIYIThis story was easy to follow. A lot of fun to watch. There are a lot of sweet and loving moments between the two male leads. Also thought the side couple was very interesting. I enjoyed watching their story develop also. I recommend this show if you want to watch a show with a lot of loving Sweet moments and good NSFW scenes.

Episode 10 was fire! Baby!

Episode 1 through 7 had a very unique storyline and good tension building. Episode 10 was absolutely fabulous.
What was bad about the series.
The plot twist in episodes 8 and 9 ruined the whole vibe. Its a good interesting storyline. The male leads and supporting cast were super sexy and entertaining. Why ruin it with a stupid unnecessary plot twist.
Episode 10 should have been episode 8 then you could have had two more episodes to explore a wonderful relationship.
Unfortunately they didn't do that so my watching suggested is watch episode 1 through 7 and then skip to 10.
I still recommend the series because you don't want to miss episode 10. Haha!

Story - This was one of the most dry and boring love stories I've ever seen in any BL series it was so boring the cute fluffy scenes had little impact.
Cast - the two male leads had zero chemistry. They look so odd together it was ridiculous. The Supporting Cast was just dismal.

College aged man acting like a 5 year old is not sexy or cute.
I've watched episode 1 -6Opening scene was really good. The show is a mixed bag. At first I thought I wouldn't like it but it's growing on me. Easter's childlike behavior is very annoying but Hill"s straightforward and mature approach is very appealing. There are a lot of flashbacks. The flashbacks are starting to get confusing so hopefully everything is cleared up as a series goes on.
1. The comedy themed music is ridiculous. And it's not making the scenes any more funny. Totally annoying.
2. College age men acting like they have the emotional and mental aptitude of 5-year-olds is not appealing or believable or cute or sexy.! Just stop it already.
3. Obnoxious nosy characters. Who act like other people's lives are more important than their own it's just ridiculous. It's ridiculous and absolutely annoying.
4. The miscommunication trope is done. It needs to be buried. It's not a believable trope if your characters are college-age students. It creates a very unpleasant viewing experience. I find it extremely annoying and frustrating..

The lead actors and supporting cast are amazing. Very realistic and authentic.
The cinematography and lighting adds warmth and beauty.
The OST sounds like it was produced for each scene. Each song complements the corresponding scene perfectly. The music matches the mood and vibe of the show.
The english subtitles are so well done. Each conversation adds meaning to the storyline. The translation is well done.
This is a Chinese BL so I would be surprised if there is any intimacy. But thats okay.. Its just nice to get a beautiful Chinese BL love story.

Amazing Love Story!

My favorite BL Storyline / Thorpe: Is a couple liking each other early in the series.
Because that leaves more time for the cute fluffy sweet moments.
This type of storyline requires great writing.
Some shows have that WOW factor, a show that manages to get everything right: Acting, Casting, Story, Writing, Pacing, Production, and OST.
Some shows just make you feel good ,right. This is one of those shows.
The two male leads are absolutely adorable together. Their chemistry is to the moon and back. So cute.
I could say more but I don't want to spoil your fun so just watch it and ENJOY!

Episode 6 English Subtitles are really bad.
Story- a very cute story that is complimented by good writing and editing. So far the pacing of the story is good and keeps the viewer engaged.
Cast- The male leads are fantastic. At first I didn't really see the pairing but as the episodes went on they really grow on you. Their chemistry is electric. The actors are doing a really good job building the relationship. The sexual tension is palpable. The supporting cast is also doing a good job. There's really no stand out supporting cast members yet but they are some very good looking cast members. Lots of eye candy.
Production - The production is well done. Good cinematography, lighting, and scenery. So far so good.
OST- None of the songs really stand out but they're not bad either. It's still early in the series so maybe they're girl on me.
NSFW Content - So far PG level. There's been some cuddling and affectionate touching. Good sexual tension building scenes.

Romance and sweetness
I got a good feeling about this series. Very interesting story line. The two male leads are both very attractive with great smiles. NSFW Content - Good affection and intimacy. Very classy.
Story - Simple yet pleasant. No over used cliches or thropes. Good communication. Fuffy and easy to follow story. Fast paced storytelling. Felt a little rushed.
Cast- Good acting. Very interesting male lead pairing. I believe they're going to have a lot to offer.
Production - The cinematography/, lighting , and scenery was solid. Good camera work and editing

Wonderful Series! Very Enjoyable!
I cannot reiterate how good the kissing and NSFW scenes are in this series. Now, with that said there's a lot more great things about this series.Watching on iQIYI using a VPN. See note at the end for detailed viewing instructions. The seies is worth the effort
Okay let me start off by saying the story is amazing and the writers have done a fantastic job. It may be a little confusing for some people because there are at least five realities playing out . The male leads and the supporting cast have their own storylines, so therefore you have to keep up with what's going.
Just keep in mind that what is bieng shown:
1) T he current time line,
2) The past, (flashbacks)
3) The group text is visualized around a table where all the writers sit, wearing cute costumes,.
4) Various visualizations of novels from several writers .
The rewatch value is a 10
Storyline- This story has it all spicy, sexy, sexual tension, mature conversation, amazingc chemisty, affection, tenderness, cute and fluffy, action, humor (thats actually funny), and some good naughty fun too.
1) The supporting cast have their own storylines and arcs. They are living thier own lives and have thier own love interests and plot points. One supporting couple has a flashback scene.
2) The male leads share a past together as well as the current timeline. Multiple flasback scenes.
3) Several of the cast members (the leads and supporting cast) are writers and therefore we get to see various visaul depictions of thier novels.
4) The male leads chemistry is on fire, so believable. The casting for the other couples is also completely and totally amazing , all the couples are on fire, all the couples have amazing chemistry and all the couples have amazing kissing and NSFW scenes.
5) Oh and don't let me forget to mention that the whole cast is gorgeous. I mean these men are beautiful, they are handsome, sexy, mature men living their lives, not afraid to say who they love, not afraid to ask for what they need, and not afraid to display love and affection.
6) No stupid miscommunications and stuff like that. No over used tired BL tropes No lazy writing. Great pacing. The story is pushed forward by grown man doing grown things. And I'm all for it.
Cast- The two male leads are just fantastic. The supporting cast is also fantastic. I'm the acting is amazing.
Production- The production is as good as it gets. Just as good as any International film. The scenery is totally amazing. The lighting and cinematography are excellent. The camera work is excellent. The editing is excellent. The production value is second to none. The visual and special effect are excellent. The costumes are excellent. This was a high budget project. They don't even have the annoying product placement commercials that you see in a lot of BL series.The BL Community should support this film for the production value alone.
OST - The songs are meaningful and played at the right times.
Note: International fans viewing instructions below. The series is not released Internationally maybe it will be in the future.
1) Install a V PN. I use Nord, but there are several to choose from.
2) Install iQIYI and purchase the standard plan. ( If you already have iQIYI, then you have to uninstall and reinstall). You will have to sign up using a different subscription because if you use your old subscription you won't be able to see the content.

So the show is really good. There are some trigger points in the storyline that probably upset some viewers. But by no means should that take away from the quality of this particular series.
First and foremost is very important for the BL industry to start to make mature content and when you start making mature content you're going to have some stories that may make people uncomfortable because that's the real world. This is a mature BL series that depicts the lives of grown men doing what grown men do and sometimes that can get messy. But that's also what makes the series very good.
The irony of this is the very character (Elyes) that's making everyone so upset and triggering all of these negative reviews is also very upset in the story and he is also being triggered by certain events in the story so it stands to reason that the writers and the actor have done a very good job.
I enjoy BL shows with adult unapologetic queer men. I love men who are completely comfortable and confident with their sexuality. I am so tired of the: I'm not sure if I'm gay or I'm not sure about my sexuality or I'm scared to tell my parents or I'm afraid to tell the person I like this them. All those thropes are so overdone and tired.
BL shows that portrayed men who are completely comfortable with their sexuality and have no problem displaying affection toward other men are very attractive and sexy. We need more stories like this.
NSFW Scenes: Mature love scenes are sexy and spicy. Not overdone Very classy. Just the right amount to make it enjoyable and satisfying to watch. The actors did an especially good job kissing, which as we all know can sometimes look very forced and unnatural, but not in this case.
Story: The story is well written. It's the employer/ employee who fall in love thrope The story is moving along at a great pace it's not slow and boring and the characters are not going around in circles. There is great relationship advancement.
Cast: The male leads have amazing chemistry and both of their characters are very entertaining.. The actors are doing a great job portraying real life complex personalities.
The supporting cast is equally great. Very attractive and compelling
FYI; Elyes is a true depiction of people at his level. I know from personal experience that some rich powerful people are very privileged. Which can cause them to be overbearing and selfish. Most people around them just cater to their every whim. So for those who think his character is unbelievable think again. He is part of the 1%.
Production: High Budget The cinematography, camera work, lighting, editing and setting are great. Overall production value is very very good.
OST: The music is played at the right time and is not overdone. And also there is no annoying comedy themed music and sound effects thank you very much.

Nagumo Shoma is a Sexy MF! Babyboy is fire!
I watched two episodes. Will update as appropriate.Nothing about this series is as good as the first one. That doesn't mean this one is bad, it's just not as good as the first one
If you can't do it better you probably shouldn't do it at all.
Nagumo Shoma character Hayase Arashi is the only reason I'm watching this series. Naguma Shoma is the total package, but can he carry this whole show by himself? The rest of the cast pale in comparison to the original cast.
Also the production quality is not as good either so two big drawbacks.

A heartwarming and enjoyable series with a pleasant vibe
I've watched 5 pisodes. This review will be updated as appropriate.Super cute and enjoyable. The only negative is the episodes are really short. Would have been better to air 2 episodes a week.
I'm going to wait until the series finishes and binge watch the remaining episodes. I think the series will be more satisfying.

Very interesting and different story. The show has a funny,, sexy, sweet vibe with a side of action and mystery. The male leads have great chemistry and good acting. The supporting cast were very entertaining. There are some really funny scenes.
