I found the plot interesting to watch this kdrama, especially the back story of Habaek.
Partly, it is a story of gods/deities who are vain, greedy, vengeful, and selfish. Good thing its just a fantasy drama, LOL. They should instead have been depicted as goblins rather than gods.
The way the story developed was quite disappointing for me. Some episodes were engrossing but some were dragging as if they were included just to extend it into a 16-episode drama.
Although, there are two saving graces: the casts' visuals and the superb acting of Im Joo Hwan.
The cinematography is impressive.
Now, I understand the mixed perception.
Overall, I give it a 7.5 rating.
