One of the top tier short K-BLs

Overall....better than you'd expect.
Starting from the first episode, it may seem a little odd or forced, but the characters and their storylines begin to hook you in. As the show continued, I found myself empathizing with the characters - hoping that all would work out for them in each respective scene.
The show has a good balance of comedic, romantic, and emotional moments that don't make you feel bored or annoyed. The pacing was also perfect - especially considering it was only 8 episodes long!
Additionally, compared to other K-bls this one barely left any unanswered questions; all the backstory and character details were wrapped up nicely with a little bow.
If you're watching for the side couple,, unfortunately you'll get cookie crumbs. although there isn't too muchh airtime for them, all their character details and backstory are still prevalent, which is more than enough especially since this is an 8ep series, less 30mins each. Also the character development was poppin.

notes for when ykyk:
- the SOCKS.
- please take off those extensions
- tattoos are permanent
- COMMUNICATION IS KEY!!!1
- double check your meeting locations
- we want the doll merch
- the snooping??? privacy was at an all time low
- honestly... were there any locks on those doors?

overall, loved this. definitely a feel good short drama to watch especially if you are taking a break from angst.
(would've given the last 0.5 for rewatch value if it was free on viki)

um... average for a KBL I suppose...

mini series, short time frame, and low budget aside... the plotholes in everything goes crazy. the chemistry in the outtakes seemed more realistic than in the show itself. many questionable things... the awkwardness, like if some stranger acted like that, the police/HR would be called. finally, who are these people? like really? why bother hinting at a backstory if you're not going to go into it? ML2 got so many unnecessary details compared to ML1. and I'm left with so many questions... but it was a decently fun watch, if you're into super mega fantasy relationships that personal space doesn't exist and you go 0-100 with your enemy within the span of <1hr.
