Villains were always the best (and this drama proves it)

To be honest, I watched this drama because it's really fast to finish it lmao but the comic thing is something which attracts me a lot (Extraordinary You and Pop Out Boy can say it better than me ~~) so I gave it a try.

The story is about Qi Qi, a comic character who's always chosen to be a villain, so her main mission is to separate our main couple. But the thing is: this new story called "Night Of Love With You" she's chosen, incorrectly, to be our female lead, the pure and good girl who's poor and sick that needs to fall for the CEO to have a great life/romance. Although she's chosen as the female lead, she also is conscious this time (she knows she's on a comic book and she can talk freely as the way she thinks), so she knows something is really wrong.

The story goes on and Qi Qi meets our main male villain, Ye Han, who hates his brother (the ML) to the point he just wants kill him and the person his brother loves. They meet and Ye Han really feels a bit attracted to her odd behaviour (since he knows she's someone his brother showed some interest) and also he feels a bit threatened because she knows his secret.

The drama is pretty good and both of the leads are sassy and funny. In the beginning, all Ye Han wants is to k word Qi Qi, but she says she'll announce to everyone that he's the ML brother/illegitimate son of the Mu family, and then when Qi Qi realizes she could die to solve the bug on the comic, she wants so badly to be killed by him that he refuses lmao

I loved how they fell for each other, specially because Ye Han is said to be someone who can't never fall for someone (love has no place in his heart, he's just focusing on his revenge), but the way Qi Qi changes his life's reason to loving her and being the best version of him, is truly beautiful (even though they have some consequences after that but anyways).

Qi Qi kinda reminded me of Dan Oh from EY, specially because when she was in the "shadow" (as said in EY when they weren't on a comic strip scene), she would talk the way she wanted and even punish the other villain (who actually was the real FL, but because of the bug, she turned to be the villain).

Simply an awesome drama. It's funny, emotional (cried a lot in the ending lmao), a bit apprehensive drama, but it's really good and it's worthy to watch.

Pain is never permanent

tw: su!c!d3, d3pr3ss!on

I've always been attracted to time travel stuff, but it's so hard to find a drama that portrays it so well that to be honest, this one really got me. First of all, we start the drama seeing how well and fine our ML is, with his "perfect" life since he accomplished everything he wanted because he was the best student in the whole school. But the thing is: his life is far from perfect, he's brooding over the past because the girl he loved simply k word herself, when they were teenagers.

Kyung Hwi (the ML) is now living by the automatic control: he goes to his work, treat patiens (he's a doctor) and talk to his best friend who also is his brother-in-law. And one day, his sister just tells him to go on a blind date, but he doesn't accept it since he's still in love with Han Na Bi (our FL and also, his lover who died), even though it's been 10 years after her death. Kyung talks and drinks with his bestie and his sister and goes to Nabi's father pub which he's closing and selling because he's tired and feeling guilty over her death. Kyung drinks more at this place and finds Nabi's diary which he discoveries that she was really sad and guilty over something that nobody knew. Kyung then listens to a song which asks him: "Is there someone you wanna meet when you go back?" and he answers "Nabi", that's when he sees her and follows this kind of "mirage" and suddenly, blacks out.

That's when our story begins.

Kyung Hwi is, definitely, madly in love with Nabi and we can see that throughout the whole drama. All the things he changes for her, all the things he does so he can get closer and understand how everything happened to her and, the most important thing: how he does everything to make her understand that she matters and that she's loved. We can see through the flashback scenes how he was so coward because he was bullied, but 28yrs Kyung Hwi is mature and when he comes back he shows that. I loved how he could care less about the bullies who frightened his life in his 18y, but now his main mission was just make Nabi pass through her death date.

Nabi was amazing, I really loved how sassy, but sensitive she was. She would always pay back in the same coin the bullies when she caught them doing bad things, but she also would feel sad if someone who she thought that cared for her, do the same thing as them. Nabi had parenting issues and trust issues, but not just that, anxiety and depression because of the reason she k word herself.

At first, I really didn't expect that Nabi's death was su!c1d3 and even the reason is somehow astonishing. And how the story goes and we just keep discovering everything with Kyung Hwi, it really makes us feel his pain and his anxiety to make her live. I really felt it all. But the ending was really unexpected, and seriously, I really wish we could have a s2 just as the chinese version has lmao

The conclusion is: even when life gets hard, we have someone who cares for us, and even though we don't see it or even though we don't know it, we always have someone. If we exist, it's because we're needed, we just need to surpass the obstacles and everything gets better. It's hard to believe, but trust me (and this drama), in the end we'll be seeing a sunset and then a moon in the sky, and in the next day we'll be experiencing new things and learning that, somehow, nothing matters, but our own life.

Unexpectedly Good

First of all, I was kinda influenced by Punjan and Prang's acting to watch this drama lmao since I watched Lipgloss Spy first and they were there as a second couple just as in Love Destiny, I really thought I'd like to see them as a main couple and guess what: we have a drama for them only!

The story, alone, isn't that impressive, but the amount of effects and some details that surely have made its difference, made the drama go smoothly awesome. I loved how sassy Tay (Punjan's character and our ML) is and he's really funny (sometimes kinda looks like a perv, but actually he was just trying to drag Hayata's attention to him as a good man in love he was). Hayata was pretty badass and always showing off her sharp tongue and seriously, I really thought "if that happened irl, she would certainly be dead" because she wasn't scared of anything at all.

The music really made me feel like I was in the action scenes and the way our villains were portrayed in those scenes, made me feel real mad that I could be the one punching them.

This drama is a good one if you wanna laugh and be entertained at some action/investigative things, also the romance isn't that much and is really, really a slowburn, so you have to be patient and that's not the main focus. So, if you wanna see a drama with a lot of genres combined from slowburn romance to assassination/drug investigation stuff, that's definitely one of the best I've seen in my life.
