TOO OVERHYPED
Just like everyone else I started watching this series because of how hyped this series was.I was wrong for keeping watching this series, as I completely missed out the wrongs and bads.
1. STORY/ACTING
I'm gonna honest and say that this series was the most awkward series I've ever watched in my entire life.
Through out the entire series, there was a huge lack of real intimacy between them being a couple that were supposed to be "in love".
When we were introduced to Tine and Sarawat for the first time, I felt like we may get something good of out them, if you know what I mean, as Sarawat was this mysterious guy and Tine being the shy school kid.
As they started fake dating, you could feel the tension in the air, and that what made me interested in the show, but sadly as their relationship progessed it lost its spark. The only reason I kept going with the series was because I was hyped as everyone else.
Watching it for the second time, made me realise I missed out alot of the flaws there were in the series.
I didn't like Tine's or Sarawat's characters AT ALL. They were not fit in that role as a couple.
2. WHAT I LIKED
I must admit, the only thing I liked was their OST. The rest was just not it.
3. OVERALL
I give this series a -10000/10. Would I consider rewatching it ? Absolutely not!

Not worth the watch
Just like everyone else I started watching this series because of how catchy ep 1 & 2 was. I was wrong for keeping watching this series, as I completely missed out the wrongs and bads.
1. STORY/ACTING
I'm gonna honest and say that this series is romanticizing sexual assualt, which is 1000% wrong to do so. Already in the first episodes we had Tharn who thought it was a good idea to kiss and leave hickeys on Type, without conset, and on top of that,, he was cleary drunk? You really gotta be smart to be that dumb. This is straight upborderline sexual assault, a serious topic that never were discussed.
2. NOT HANDLING MENTAL ILLNESS WELL
In of the episodes, we see Type opening up to Tharn, where he talk about him being raped as a 11 year old. The way Tharn behaved toward Type was very problematic, and clearly he didn't respect Type boundaries. As someone opening up his traumas/PTSD, the first thing YOU SHOULDN'T DO is hug that person. There must be other ways to help him out
Type was already struggling as it is, and he didn't need anything to top up the trauma he went through. A very bad way to portrait a gay character.
3. ROMANTICIZING TOXIC BEHAVIOURS
As Tharn and Types characters developed, I honestly thought we would see some progression in their relationship. I thought that, now that they've become a couple, they would open up to each other and solve their problems between them. But oh well, I was wrong. And not to mention Type hitting Tharn, not once but twice, when he confessed in front of Tharns childhood "friend". And then they proceed to move over to the "steamy scenes"?
It was very confusing to watch, and I was very confused - I was thinking to myself, should I like this couple or not?
Tharn pushes the next boundary without conset and then gets mad when Type is upset? (Was that supposed to be innocent acting or..?)
After Type admits that they are something more than friends, Tharn convinces him to go out into public and drink, then within the next minute he kisses him IN PUBLIC without asking, something Type wasn't ready for.
The same goes for Type. He was a complete asshole and really was way too impulsive and had close to zero redeeming qualities. I failed to see why I should cheer for him and his happiness when I simply did not like him as a human being.
4. WHAT I LIKED
I must admit, I found the fluffy cute scenes between them cute. But the rest, I literally skipped it all and cringed very bad. The writing and the scripting WAS HORRIBLE. The director must be new to all this, and I am hoping he did a better job now that Tharntype 2 is coming out this week.
Surpringsly, I lived for the OST. Till this day it's a BOP.
5. OVERALL
Not worth the watch at all. Would I consider rewatching it? Absolutely not! Let's hope season 2 is something I can watch lol

Could've been done better
I usually don’t write reviews, but for Love By Chance it was a sign I had to. It's been a time since I last watched the series, and as far I have noted, it's overall a good BL. Tho the acting,, I have a feeling they could have done better. I understand the actors did everything they could with what they received, and as much as I love Perth(Ae) and Saint(Pete) I have to be honest and say it didn't sell me anything. There were some episodes where I cringed and literally had to stop there. The only reason why I kept going with the series, was because they annonced a season 2.The acting didn't sell me at all, because of the exaggerated cute scenes between Ae and Pete (spoiler: especially ep8/9 where they also had sex for the first time).
I felt the need to skip it all, and to be very honest, it just felt forced and it really didn't give off the cuteness it was supposed to give.
Apart from the Tum/Tar relationship, what I also didn't understand was the relationship between Can and Tin.
It honestly confused me so much, it was like I couldn't keep up with them at all. They tried their best to create the so called poor/rich relationship, but what was the purpose?
We had Can who literally was ready to fight anyone that breathes near him, and after confessing to Tin, it was like Tin immediately had to like Can back??!
Overall, I am very disappointed and hopefully season 2 is a lot better. Is it worth rewatching again? Absolutely not.
