Could have been better
This really should have been a full 16 episodes, at least. There was no character development, no backstories, a lot of the connections between characters didn't make a lot of sense, the pacing was off - so many missing pieces. It almost felt like a waste of great talent, like an outline of a really good makjang. I only recently started to appreciate the over-the-top silliness of makjangs, and this one still had me yelling at the tv even though it was partly out of confusion lol. The kdrama format is going in a direction that I'm not particularly fond of with Netflix, first with multiple seasons and now with cliffs notes versions of dramas.
