Too many antagonists are this story's downfall.
This sounded like a 10/10 drama from the synopsis alone. I was even more hopeful after watching the trailer. Episode 1 was as wholesome and heartfelt as I expected it to be, if not more.
But from then on as the antagonists are introduced, it went downhill. The amount of antagonists are this story’s downfall. There’s just too much for a 6 episode story. Even if the MCs didn’t have any mental conditions, the amount of antagonists in this story would make almost anyone snap and be on the edge. Even as a viewer, it was just too much for me to sit through. It would have been better if the writer narrowed it down to at most two types of antagonists for both MCs and dialed down their intensity. Instead, they shoved in as many kinds that they could possibly fit into the story and dialed them up to 10.
I dropped this around ep 4 where the MCs’ support systems started to be more vocal, but I can’t bring myself to see how it all ends at the moment. I’m somewhat sure the MCs will get a happy ending, and I might come back to watch ep6 at some later time.
