Hello! I like watching shows/movies,  been watching for years now and rating them on my notes app. I found this website during my great obsession with BL since December 2023, and decided later on to use it to track my shows/movies and comment or review and rate them which are my favorite parts after finishing a show, but rating and writing reviews and comments is a great way for me to have less anxiety at the fact that I'll forget these shows/movies eventually and it'll feel like a waste of time or like I never watched it to begin with, so leaving a mark even on my notes app by rating the shows/movies just gives me a peace of mind, and if anyone ever asks me for recommendations I can easily access them! I review random shows, a lot of them I don’t have much to say so I either don’t review them or leave a comment. But when I do review I make sure I put in my all and write as much as I can. Here is what my ratings mean.

  • 10/10:  Literally perfect, barely any flaws or no flaws at all in my eyes, enjoyed every part of it, made me feel a lot.
  • 9.0-9.5/10:  It was good, but it lacked some stuff that made me want to rate it a bit lower than a 10, still pretty close to a 10 meaning almost perfect, just small things that impacted my opinion on it.
  • 8.0-8.5/10:  Still pretty good, once I start rating things below 9 I see more flaws, I probably struggle a little bit more to finish or watch it consistently, But still good enough for me to watch it all the way through, some shows I've dropped and probably rated them a 8, because I get bored of shows around the end of it and find it pointless to finish so I label them as dropped but still appreciate the efforts and good parts, this is rare but it has happened. Overall this rating is still good, just lacking some stuff.
  • 7.0-7.5/10:  Similar to the 8.0-8.5/10 rating, only difference is once I start rating in the 7's more things are wrong, most likely I enjoyed the thrill at first but after seeing half of the show, if I'm not hooked, I'll drop it and rate it a 7 or 7.5 depending on how good the beginning was. The 7's ratings for me are like the lowest ratings I mainly give in general, unless the show/movie etc, is extremely BAD to the point I have to give below a 7, then my lowest rating will be a 7/7.5. This is because I did enjoy it to some extent, but probably wasn't 100% satisfactory, or I dropped it and it had way to many flaws.
  • Anything below 7 is considered extremely bad, I probably didn't enjoy it at all or much, probably forced myself to watch,  dropped it or skipped through. The plot was probably bad, the acting and scenes as well. A lot of things have to go wrong for me to rate below 7.

Unless a show/movie is extremely bad to the point that theres no excuse, I will try my hardest to write a unbiased review, I will put aside my opinion and feelings and focus on other things such as cinematic aspects, plot, lessons being taught, acting, representation etc. I will never try to talk badly about a show/movie when it's obvious it's good regardless of my personal opinion and liking.

PS, my biggest pet peeve is when a show/movie is unnecessarily long mostly when the plot lacks, I always struggle with this T-T

But yeah that is all! :)
