absolutely amazing
This has been on my watchlist for soooo long, I was interested when it came up on my netflix but also saw the high ratings on here and wanted to know what all the fuss was about.I now understand why it’s so highly rated.
I cried at pretty much every episode. I love how most of them have their own little storyline for the cases that somehow managed to get me invested in just under an hour every episode. The story of the main cast too is just absolutely incredible and I especially love the character development and backstory of Sang gu.
My favourite episode was the one with the visit to the theme park (episode 8 if I’m remembering correctly) in which the relationship between Sang gu and Geu ru develops even more, with connections to Sang gu’s past and Geu ru starting to come out of his shell a little bit. I’m not lying when I tell you I thoroughly sobbed throughout the entirety of this episode. I could go on, but then this review would turn into a novel haha.
All in all, I am in love with this show. In terms of dramas, there’s only one that I’ve rated a perfect 10 (DP, an incredible watch if you haven’t seen it already) but now, Move to Heaven is also standing on that 10/10 podium. I love the narrative and characters and how they made me feel so attached. I love the music, particularly the music that would play just before the credits when the episode was about to end- it gave me chills every time. I loved the effects, seeing how Geu ru visualised his thoughts to piece together the deceased’s story was super cool in my opinion.
Basically, I loved everything. I’m definitely gonna have to rewatch at some point and, when I do, I’ll know to have my tissues ready the second time around.

Absolutely incredible.
I was not expecting to love this series as much as I did. I find it difficult to keep watching when a show has loads of episodes that average over an hour per episode so when I saw that this only had 6 that were less than an hour I thought I’d give it a shot. This show has absolutely everything in my opinion: it looks at serious issues and handles them amazingly but also has the perfect amount of funny and wholesome moments. The characters are great and super interesting, I especially love the lead duo of Jun Ho and Ho Yeol. I really think I felt every emotion possible when watching this, I laughed, cried, felt angry and scared etc. D.P. has definitely become one of my new favourite shows, if not my favourite. I can’t recommend it enough and I’m super excited for the next season. Was this review helpful to you?
